Very peaceful in a country in front of the sea.
Villa Giò is a small cottage located 200 m beside a little sandy beach enclosed in a rocky coast, where you can smell the perfume of the country together with the sea breeze.
The cottage is distant from Sampieri about 500 m.
The house is a new building,it has a garden with mediterranean flavours (lavender,rosemary..).
Around the cottage there's natural vegetation with various typical mediterranean plants (carrubo,olivo,palma nana).You need not air conditioning because the house is naturally cool.
In Sampieri there are supermarkets,bakery,bars,pizzarestaurants,pharmacy,post office and also another beach about 2 km long,with a characteristic old kiln named "Pisciotto".
Sampieri is located in the baroque area,part of a United Nation World Heritage site.The baroque area includes Scicli(8 km),Modica (20 km),Ragusa Ibla(26 km),Noto(40 km),towns famous for wonderful churches and palaces baroque style.
Visit also several archeological sites:Syracuse,Piazza Armerina,Agrigento-Valle dei Templi.
At about 10 km is located Pozzallo, where you arrive in Malta for catamaran day trip.
You can enjoy beautiful sun and sea from April to November.

Silenzio e privacy vicino al mare

La casa in campagna è piacevolmente isolata consentendo notti tranquille e privacy. Abbiamo soggiornato due settimane in agosto e come da descrizione, nonostante il caldo, il portico è piacevolmente ventilato e gli ambienti sono dotati di aria condizionata. Qualche piccolo problema è stato prontamente risolto dalla proprietaria, sempre disponibile e gentile. Consigliato.

Das Haus war in einer ruhigen Sackgasse mit Meerblick und eingezäunten Grundstück. Die Klimaanlage war sehr wichtig und funktionierte einwandfrei. Sehr schöner Strand. Die Einrichtung war einfach aber völlig ausreichend. Ich würde das Haus wieder buchen. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Bis auf die Temperaturen ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Soggiorno Sicilia 2022 alle porte di Sampieri

Ottima posizione perchè vicinissima alla spiaggia (3 min di cammino a piedi), la casa è di comfort come la fosse la mia. Unica considerazione/consiglio è di installare un impianto di clima su tutta la casa e non solo in mansarda (sarà che questa estate che è caldissima, ma nonostante i ventilatori c'era abbastanza caldo). Ottima esperienza. consigliata. La signora che ci ha accolto è gentilissima.

La casa si trova in un'ottima posizione: pur essendo in aperta campagna è molto vicina al mare. Immersa nel verde e ben ventilata. Abbiamo trascorso delle favolose serate all'aperto sotto il portico. La Signora Carmela è sempre stata molto disponibile.

Für Menschen, die alleine sein wollen

Es ist 300 m zum Strand, dafür ist man alleine weg von allen anderen und kann sich ganz in Ruhe so bewegen wie man möchte. Das Innere des Hauses ist schlicht aber dennoch angenehm. Das Beste ist die Terasse!

Sommerurlaub mit drei Kindern

traumhafte Lage, sehr schöner Naturstrand, wunderschöner Garten mit Blick auf Meer und in die umgebende Landschaft. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Mansarde war für unsere Kinder 4,6 und 8 J. noch nicht geeignet (wegen steiler Außentreppe und separatem Eingang, daher bekamen wir ein Reisebettchen in unser Schlafzimmer für unsere 4jährige Tochter. Für ältere Kinder ist die Mansarde sicher sehr romantisch mit Klimanlage und eigenem Bad. sehr schönes Haus. es fehlte uns an nichts. Grazie mille, Carmela. abbiamo trascorso vacanze meravigliose. La casa è bellissima. Non ci è mancato niente. Speriamo di tornare! Sonja

We enjoyed our week at Sampieri. A lovely spot with a great veranda. The beach down the road is good and just 2 km away is the long beautiful beach of Sampieri. We were here in late September and the water was warm and the beach was nearly empty. We spent several days visiting the lovely baroque mountains towns of Modica, Ragusa, Scicli and Ispica and the Villa is an easy drive to all these places. Unfortunately, the bathroom’s shower is very small and difficult to enter and we noticed some odor present. This is a good place for a couple or family with small children or friends. The attic room is comfortable but the ceilings a so low that it is difficult for adults to use the upstairs. The main bedroom is very comfortable although the second bedroom is quite small. We cooked many of our evening meals and the kitchen is not the best but we managed. With a little thoughtful planning this villa would be outstanding. If you don’t mind some inconviences this is a great place.

Entspanntes Ferienzuhause

Das Haus entspricht den Bildern. Es ist zweckmässig, schlicht eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Garten ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Das ganze Haus ist von einer Terasse umgeben, so dass sich zu jeder Tageszeit und Temperatur ein geeingetes Plätzchen findet. Wir waren zu Viert dort und haben draußen gelebt. Übergabe und Absprache mit der Hausbesitzerin Carmela liefen perfekt, vielen herzlichen Dank. Das Haus liegt ruhig 200m fussläufig zu einem eher ruhigeren Strand, an dem man auch Liegen leihen kann (perfekt um vorm Frühstück schon ins Meer zu springen), 1km fußläufig (am Meer entlang mit toller Aussicht) zum belebten Strand. Um die tollen Barockstädte zu besichtigen ist ein Auto erforderlich. Sollten wir den nächsten Erholungsurlaub planen kommen wir wieder.

"Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à la Villa Gio! Cette jolie maison est vraiment bien placée : en face de la plage (très peu de monde sur la plage!), au calme et située à proximité de beaucoup de sites spendides à visiter (Scicli, Modica, Ragusa, Noto...). La maison est arborée d'un petit jardinet très agréable à regarder lorsqu'on prend son petit déjeuner sur la terrasse :-) A l'intérieur, tout y est! Vaisselle, lave-linge, belles chambres spacieuses... Je ne saurais conclure mon appréciation sans parler de la gentillesse de la propriétaire, Carmela qui nous a accueillie avec sourire, bonne humeur, disponibilité et des bons fruits de la régions ! We have spent a marvellous week at Villa Gio's. This beautiful house is a very quiet place, in front of the sea (there was almost nobody on the beach!). The house is situated near great places to interest (Scili, Ragusa, Modica, Noto...) The house has a nice garden. It was great to have a breakfast on the terrace with beautiful flowers :-) Inside, everything is perfect : large rooms, dishes, washing machine... I would like to emphasize the kindness of the owner, Carmela. She welcomed us with smiles, receptiveness and very good fruit basket!"

La vacanza è gia di quell...

La vacanza è gia di quelle indimenticabili per il piacere che si ha nel soggiornare in un posto pieno di storia, di ottima gastronomia e con un mare ed una costa fantastici. Se poi aggiungiamo la squisita gentilezza della proprietaria e della sua famiglia l'ottima ubicazione della casa con la sua frescura e tranquillità il quadro è completo. Grazie ancora da tutti noi.
