Great Cabin for Experiencing Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cabin in mid September 2016, and it turned out to be one of our best VRBO choices ever. The cabin is cozy, but large enough for the two of us to really relax. The upgrades are great, with a nice kitchen that includes stainless appliances and top-end cooking gear. The bedrooms, living room, and bath are exactly as shown in the photos. And the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, on the edge of Wilson.

The best part of the cabin is the location. The cabin is situated about 10 feet from Fish Creek, and we spent many hours just relaxing, watching the creek flow by. There were ducks and other water birds around. Twice we looked up to spot mule deer on the opposite bank, and in both cases they crossed the creek right by the cabin. On our last day at the cabin we also spotted two moose just upstream along the creek . At night we would leave the window open so we could hear the creek gurgle by outside the bedroom. A little piece of heaven on earth.

Loved this cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Recently my job took me to the Jackson Wy area, and I found this little slice of heaven to stay in. I felt at home as soon as I walked into the cabin, and with Fish Creek outside the back door it was a wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. With the noise from the river you didn't hear any traffic noises and the views were beautiful to wake up to every morning. I really enjoyed coming back everyday after work to unwind, and sit on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Some places you can stay at are fancier and you are afraid to touch anything, I never felt this way while staying in this cabin. I felt at home immediately, and would love to come and stay again. The landscaping was beautiful with all the flower beds and well maintained. With just a short drive into Jackson I could enjoy all the fun Jackson offers, we really enjoyed the Bar-T-Five Chuck Wagon dinner ride. Hungry Jacks General Store really does have everything you could ever need! I would recommend staying at this cabin and would return again.

Above and beyond what we envisioned!!! STELLAR cabin rental! We will be back!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this cabin for our honeymoon, and everything about it was PERFECT for us! The location was super convenient to downtown Jackson, the Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone. Fish Creek is literally 10 FEET from the cabin, and is definitely one of the best attractions. We loved sitting out by the creek watching the wildlife. At one point, a Crane bird landed on the other side of the creek, scooped up a trout, and gracefully ate if right in front of us... It was AWESOME! We also had the pleasure of seeing a moose sneak out of the brush and drink the fresh, cold, Fish Creek water. I loved staying outside of all of the traffic as well - the cabin is nestled down a dirt road, but still close to restaurants and stores. We truly loved Marc's cabin, and we can't wait to return!

Gorgeous Creekside Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My wife and daughter and I stayed in this lovely cabin as a jumping off point for skiing in Teton Pass, JHMR and GTNP. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the management of our reservation and the state of the property upon our arrival (entirely consistent with its description). What we were not prepared for was exactly how beautiful the cabin's positioning on the banks of Fish Creek truly is and what that meant for our visit. We had daily visits from all manner of wildlife including an entire family of moose who made their way eating down the creek one day and back up it the next. Our daughter was enchanted. We could not be more pleased and cannot wait to stay in the cabin again!!

Just perfect!

My husband and I had the most lovely vacation in the Jackson Hole area much of it due our stay in this nicely restored cabin. It is wonderfully isolated (about 5 miles) from all of the hustle of Jackson and yet close enough to one of the Grand Teton entrances that we did not have long drives to anywhere. The master bedroom truly does look out right on Fish Creek and its babbling sounds put us to sleep each night. We were also able to sit out on the deck on clear nights and watch the zillions of stars pop out with no light to block our view. We looked across at the Raptor Center (worth a visit if you can) and that was pretty much it for habitation in our line of sight. The kitchen is small but well appointed and we cooked in or grilled out several nights. The town of Wilson is adorable and on Sunday night, on the advice of a friend, we walked to the Stagecoach bar for its weekly cowboy dance (not touristy but a real western style dance). The log cabin is also a very short walk to Nora's where we had both great trout one night and a wonderful (and very popular) breakfast one morning. There is a large sectional in the main room which was very comfy for watching TV or looking out at the stunning view. Would highly recommend this place (although not if you have small children as it is only feet from the creek which is really a river). The owner, although not currently living in the area, was very familiar with lots to see and do and provided us with great information on activities and other area services. We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay in such a find!!
