Delightful accommodation attached to my family farmhouse for generations. Located in a rural location, it is on the edge of a small country village, just a few minutes from the beautiful Cortona.
The ancient medieval city is only 4/5 minutes away, an excellent food shop about 1 minute, the main communication routes and the railway station only 4/5 minutes. The ease of movement is combined with the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside.
A small swimming pool of exclusive use is a few meters from the house

Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit in der Ferienwohnung von Michele. Für mich war es ein kleines Paradies! Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll bis ins Details eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist wunderbar grün mit vielen Bäumen, die Schatten spenden, so dass es angenehm kühl bleibt. Und wenn es zu warm wird, geht man einfach in den sehr sauberen, schönen Pool, der nur 10 Schritte von der Tür entfernt im Garten ist und einem allein zur Verfügung steht. Alles wird sorgfältig von Michele betreut, der sehr hilfsbereit und sehr diskret ist. Er wohnt direkt nebenan, aber man hat ein Maximum an Privatsphäre. Der Korb mit Gemüse aus dem Garten und eigenem Olivenöl ist ein wunderbarer Willkommensgruß. Michele hat mit viel Liebe Touren ausgearbeitet, mit denen man auf eigene Faust die großartige Umgebung erkunden kann. Siena, Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, Montepulciano und der Lago Trasimeno u.a. sind schnell erreichbar. Ich wäre gern noch länger geblieben und kann die ruhige, gemütliche Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Die Angaben zur korrekten Bezeichnung und die Telefonnummer waren von Ihnen falsch angegeben, was bei der Anreise zu Problemen geführt hat.Ansonsten nette Gastgeber und schönes Anwesen.Wir mussten viel erfragen, was eigentlich beim Einchecken mitgeteilt hätte gezeigt werden müssen. Landschaft, Kultur ect. standen im Mittelpunkt unseres Urlaubs. Von daher alles gut.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, leider waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt sehr vielen Moskitos da, hier hat der Eigentümer sehr kulant reagiert und und früher abreisen lassen, mit Kostenerstattung. Vielen Dank nochmals hierfür, mir ist bewußt, dass dieses keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist.

Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, sehr saubere Wohnung mit großzügigen Aussenbereich. Wir waren in Arezzo, Cortona, Assisi, Trasimeno See . Rom ist mit dem Zug leicht zu erreichen.

Toller Urlaub

Es ist ein Traum. Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön und man ist mit dem Fahrrad ( bei der Unterkunft vorhanden) schnell am tollen Pool. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben es unendlich genossen. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil. Cortona ist eine wunderbare Stadt.

Un lieu très reposant

Une situation idéale pour visiter des lieux moins connus de la Toscane et de L'Ombrie. La maison confortable dispose d'un jardin ombragé et très vert qui est un havre de fraîcheur lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Piscine également très agréable située à 700M de la maison. Lovely time!

We had a lovely stay at your house in Boca early Jan. 2012. We were with two 17 years old and eveyone enjoyed their stay. First experience in house renting and it was perfect! Exactly as described, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet neighborhood. It is conveniently located near grocery store , french pastry shop, malls, restaurants and beaches. Great backyard, well equipped for BBQ and eating. Gil can be reached easily and is always helpful. Would definitely rent again and refer to friends and family

Good location

For a vacation, including my wife and daughter and my in-laws and our little dog, we decided to rent a house for two weeks over the Christmas vacation. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this rental. Not knowing what to expect, the house is in nice condition, and everything was nicely laid out, including a portable crib for my daughter. This house was in a good location, with shopping close by that you could walk to. There were a couple of small issues that we encountered, but the owner was very quick to remedy them so we could enjoy our vacation. Overall, a nice time, and good value for the experience.

This property was more than I expected. Pictures do it no justice

I loved the apartment it was the perfect Tuscan home for my holiday. Although the owners live next door, it was completely private I would go days without seeing them. It was very clean, spacious, I would stroll around the property picking fresh flowers and herbs. I was surprised to find it has 2 bathrooms. I cannot say enough. I will definitely go back.

Great relaxing stay

This is a great place for a couple looking to unwind in Tuscany. Cortona is five minutes drive. Centrally located to dozens of great hill towns and vineyards. The house and property and neighborhood have tons of charm and Michaele was a great host, providing bikes, and local restaurant and sightseeing advice, including placed we'd never heard of. If we get back to Eastern Tuscany, we'll be staying again!

Alles prima! Tolles Appartement. Pool ca. 700 Meter entfernt. Waren am letzten Abend zum Essen bei Donatella und ich habe in Italien noch NIE besser gegessen. Hätte nicht nach Hause fahren müssen !!!

L'appartement est idéalement situé pour visiter la région et donne sur un jardin agréable et bien entretenu comme la maison qui est très propre et dispose de toutes les commodités . Le propriétaire nous a fourni des informations utiles pour notre séjour. Par ailleurs même la piscine est bien situé dans un cadre de verdure et arboré.

Tuscany From a Beautiful Ancient, Rustic home

My wife and I just finished two lovely weeks at this beautiful and ancient home in the tiny village of Montalla, just outside of Cortona. We came to Tuscany to help harvest olives with friends who live here so it was off-season, the first half of October. The owner, Michael, was extremely accommodating even before we arrived as we had to change our dates at the last minute to adjust to the unpredictable harvest times. When we got there, he helped us settle in and responded to all our initial questions and requests. He helped us get set up for grocery shopping and an outside laundry (on a Sunday no less) and quickly fulfilled a few small requests. The apartment itself was spacious with a beautiful, large tiled full bathroom, a king size bed with an extra bed in the bedroom and an extra 3/4 bathroom at the back. The kitchen was fully functional and well stocked and the living/dining area was very spacious. (My wife says to mention NOT to miss the soft sofa cover in the chest that she only discovered the day we left.) We cooked many great meals on the gas stovetop and in the electric microwave/convection oven. The hot water never cooled one bit, even with back to back showers. Internet was not super fast but was 100% reliable in the living area. Michael lives next door and was available for any questions but he never intruded. The grounds are simply gorgeous (see his site photos, they are accurate, even showing the assigned parking place with a car in the background. This home is 1 minute from a wonderful local grocery store and perhaps 8 minutes from the "escalator parking" for the famous thriving ancient hill town of Cortona, made known to Americans by the Frances Maye memoir: Under the Tuscan Sun - a copy of which was there for me to read. Another mile or two brings you to the larger city of Camucia with its large Tuesday Market. Don't miss it. One of the great discoveries for us was that Michael's mother, Donatello, who owns her own appointment-only restaurant 150 meters down the road, as well as a cooking school, was able open her doors and cook for just us and another couple, one of the best meals we have had here in Italy, and for the most reasonable of prices. Michael arranged it for us (his English is perfect and he translated for his mother.) When we return to Tuscany next year we will look to book with Michael again.

Lovely Home

The property is spacious with modern decor. Everything you could want is provided. The oven is a small free standing counter top oven, which I understand is common in Florida. We used the bikes to cycle to the beach. The area has proper cycle ways but it seems no one minds if you cycle on the pavement. The back porch of the house is lovely just to sit and relax and the pool is fine, we used it and it was March! It is close to great beaches, parks and also the Town Mall which is huge. We would rent this home again if we were to return to this area.

Vacation Rental 2014

House was nice and clean. Pool was great. Location was great. It was close to everything. Didn't have any problems while we were there. Only negitive were the bathrooms. My husband and I are both disabaled. The toilets were not handicaped accessible. And the Shower was small. Other than that everything was good. We stayed 2 weeks and had a wonderful vacation.

Relaxing Stay in Comfortable House Near Cortona

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and yet be close to Cortona. We stayed at "Casa Moro" for three nights and were very comfortable and happy. The weather was a bit cold and rainy, but it didn't stop us from investigating Cortona one day. And one day we took a short train ride to neighboring Arezzo to walk the famous monthly Antique Outdoor Market. What a treat! The house has two very large and beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make your meals. We bought a few things at the market that is within walking distance and then later went to one of the many groceries/markets that are very close. And there are excellent restaurants and eating places nearby. We had a very special meal one night with Michele's (owner) mother and sister. They cooked for us a traditional Umbrian meal. Lots of dishes, hefty servings, good wine and a delicious dessert - in a beautiful place just a few minutes walk from the house. It was a very special evening. The bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable . . . we slept well. We took lots of walks and enjoyed the scenic area. We were just sad that the fireplace wasn't working . . . but Michele helped us figure out the heating and we were very warm and comfortable. Michele was a perfect host and made sure we had everything we needed. He sent us very detailed instructions on how to reach the property. Following the directions, we arrived with no problems. And he gave us a detailed map of the area, along with restaurant recommendations, which made things very easy for us. We definitely would like to return to "Casa" - perfectly spacious for us and we love the area. Perfect location to either relax in the house or beautiful garden or to use as a home-base to explore the area.

Great Rental

Let me say that the pictures are exactly what you will find at this home. The house was absolutely clean and in working order. As a single woman traveling alone I felt completely safe in the neighborhood, which is quiet and peaceful especially at night. The outdoor space was great-the pool and landscaping are quite nice. The house is in a residential area near all amenities: grocery stores, pharmacies, coffee shops and dining. Gil is an attentive property owner and I met both Gil and her husband when I arrived which was nice--they walked me through the house and answered any questions I had. A relaxing stay in the Florida sunshine. Looking forward to a return visit.

Wonderful Home & Location In Boca

My cousin and I stayed here for the month of February, which was far too short a month, and my sister came down from Jacksonville for 10 days. We loved this home which was in a nice, quiet neighborhood and convenient to shopping, beach, movies, and the town of Delray Beach. Even my hometown bank was nearby. If your looking for something other than a hotel experience with no privacy and crowds in their restaurants and poolside, this is the perfect place. My sister's poodle, Claude Monet, especially enjoyed the large fenced in yard. We found the home well-cleaned and all amenities were available and in working order. The only negative was not having basic plus extended TV channels (do not mean or need premium channels, e.g. Home Box, Show Time, Cinemax, etc.). In addition to a wonderful home and stay, the owner is repsonsive and would like everyone to have an enjoyable stay in her hacienda. I surely will return to this home next year.

We rented this house for the month of October, 2012. We could not have been more pleased with the accomodations. The house(which was very clean), pool, furnishings and location are exactly as described and pictured on this site. We spent many lazy afternoons either by the pool or the nearby beach and evenings exploring the many restaurants in the area especially the ones on Atlantic Avenue in nearby Delray. Our Poodle/Bijon mix dog especially liked dog friendly Mizner Park. During our stay there was some minor storm damage to a section of gutter and leader at the back of the house. We notified the owner and she had someone there within 2 hours to address the damage and clean up the area. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this property to friends and family.
