A refreshingly eclectic and "lived-in" apartment. Clean, but not sterile. We enjoyed the fantastic art, photography and book collection. Super safe and quiet in a great location for restaurants and public transit. Giovanni is a gracious host who met us on arrival and made sure we were settled. A very comfortable experience.

This street has just about everything you need. Great location and neighborhood. Apartment is comfortable and interesting. Host is extremely communicative and proactive.

Awesome vacation

This is a very nice, and clean apartment. Giovanni, was very kind, attentive and responsive whenver I messaged him. He made the check in/out process very easy. The location is perfect as you can walk to the popular Navigli canal for a fun evening or take the train/tram to go explore other places. I 100% recommend this place.

Nice apartment

Owner Giovanni is very easy to communicate with, response back our questions with no time. He was greeting us at his apartment and leave some drinks and snacks to us. His apartment is very clean and cute, easy get to public transportation. Thank you Giovanni to share your apartment with us!

Exploring Milan

My wife and I, and our adult daughter, had a fantastic 4 night stay in this beautiful home! From the moment he met us when we first arrived, Giovani made us feel most welcome and took time to show us everything we needed to know about the home and building. He also provided helpful information about the area, transportation, etc. The location is perfect with the metro, trams, hop-on-hop-off bus line all easily available, in addition to many good restaurants and bars, shops, and a grocery store. We could not have been more pleased. Thank you, Giovani, for helping us to have such a wonderful vacation!

The home of an intellectual.

It was a great pleasure to be in a home filled with books of history, poetry, art and philosophy. So rare is it in these times to experience a place where erudition is prized. I would return without a doubt. Giovanni is a gentle, kind man. I highly recommend him to you.

Great 2 bedroom apartment in Navigli

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It had everything we needed for 3 people and was clean and spacious. It was nice to have 2 proper beds and not a sofa bed in the living room like many other apartments. Giovanni was extremely helpful and met me on arrival to show me around. He provided snacks and drinks as a welcome gift. The location was perfect, a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the metra station and plenty of options for trams and buses. It was less than a 30 minutes walk to the Duomo so we usually walked. There was a big parking lot at the station where we parked the car for 2 days. The neighborhood has bars and restaurants and a grocery store very close by. There is lots of nightlife around the canals but the apartment is far enough away that it's not too noisy. I highly recommend the area and the apartment.

Great stay in Milan

Great 2 bedroom apartment in the Porta Genova area just north of Navigli. Giovanni was an excellent host. Met us at the apartment and showed us around - very friendly. Also had some snacks and beverages waiting for us in the kitchen. Good sized living room and main bedroom. The den has a small bed that is good for one person. Very cool area and apartment.

Well maintained apartment near Navigli

It was very easy to reserve this two bedroom one bath apartment through VRBO. Giovanni was prompt to answer any questions and accommodate our arrival time which changed due to flight delays. There is an elevator to the apartment which is on the European third-floor. There’s several gates with locks for security, however we have no concerns with the safety of the area. Upon entering, there’s a large living room with a flatscreen TV that gets mini channels. The kitchen is well equipped and Giovanni even furnished us with beverages and breakfast snacks. The bathroom has a large tub with shower and a washing machine that worked very well. Both bedrooms are large enough with comfortable beds. The metro is only two blocks away. There are numerous bus lines that leave from this metro station. On the street or numerous restaurants, grocery store and small shops. Just two blocks away is the Navigli area with dozens of restaurants and bars along a beautiful canal. Milan has an excellent metro system, but the city is very easy to walk. We took the train from the airport to Codorna Station and then a short 10 minute Uber ride to the apartment. On a departure date the checkout process was simple. This is a great place to stay, and a great neighborhood, that’s very convenient. Thank you, we look forward to returning!

AMAZING! AMAZING!

Cannot describe how amazing this place was! Giovanni was incredibly helpful with everything, and unbelievably welcoming. This place was beautiful; exceeded all expectations. The location was incredible and extremely walkable to great restaurants and bars (right around the corner!). We also walked to the Duomo (30 minute walk). The train station is also only a mile away. We LOVED this place! Cannot wait to come stay here again! Thank you Giovanni!!!!!

Location, location, location!

The apartment was clean plenty of amenities in the apartment, in addition to a few extras our host Mr Giavinni provided. The location of the apartment in the Naglivi Canal Districr is ideal for restaurants, transportation of metro and taxi just a five minute walk. Excellent apartment rental! Ideal for couples or family of four!

super situation et spacieux

bonne situation :à coté de rues animées le soir; tramway à 2mn(coté canal) pour acces au Duomo (trajet direct en 10mn); métro à 3mn(direct station centrale pour l'aéroport) propre ,spacieux, bien chauffé, serviettes à volonté,sèche cheveux,savon,lessive,tout pour le petit déjeuner,+ 1bouteille de vin,coca,jus de fruits, appartement comme à la maison, tout y est.c'était parfait et Gionavi nous attendait à notre arrivée(tard le soir) avec tous les conseils( restos, visites,transports).il parle anglais, mais aussi un peu français.petit message de sa part durant le séjour pour voir si tout allait bien et arrangeant pour les horaires de départ.nous étions 3 personnes mais 5 personnes sans problème.bien sur à recommander .Gisele

Veramente un soggiorno piacevole, l'appartamento si trova in una zona piena di servizi e ben collegato con i mezzi di trasporto. Nonostante sia zona Navigli l'appartamento è molto silenzioso e si affaccia in un grazioso cortile di case ringhiera. Il signor Giovanni è una persona estremamente gentile e disponibile, l'appartamento era molto pulito e dotato di ogni confort. Consiglio il soggiorno qui anche a chi a bambini piccoli come noi.

Clean, spacious and cosy, it is the perfect place to stay in Milan ----------- L'appartement de Giovanni est super pour profiter de Milan ! Giovanni est un hôte très sympathique : très arrangeant sur les horaires d'arrivées et de départ, appartement cosy , bien tenu et équipé (serviettes, shampoing et savon, sèche-cheveux, guides sur milan ) et même une bouteille de vin pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue. L'appartement est situé dans un joli immeuble fleuri, dans le quartier de Navigli : quartier branché et vivant. Parfait pour se promener et proche du centre par le métro. Seul bémol : faible pression de l’eau et rue un peu bruyante si on dort la fenêtre ouverte. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Grazioso appartamento in ottima posizione

Gem in the Navigli district

This lovely, clean apartment is well located in the canal district of Milan. I stayed here 3 nights. It is in a building with a lift. The living room faces the inner courtyard while the bedrooms face the street. Street noise is not an issue unless the bedroom windows are open. The beds are single mattresses on raised platforms. I slept very comfortably. There was plenty of bedding and towels. The metro and trams are located at one of the street-within 5 minutes, making it very easy to reach all the sites. Different passes are available.Also very easy to walk to the sites from this location. Canals are located at the other end. Milan is very busy right now cleaning up the city, including the canals, in preparation for Expo. So I did not see the canals in their full glory. The area is very vibrant with restaurants and shops. A convenience store is just down the block. Loved wallking around this area. Giovanni is a very wonderful, thoughtful, charming host. He was very accommodating and anticipated the needs of a weary traveler. He is very responsive on email and communicative. I highly recommend staying at this property.

casa pulita, comoda ed ottima posizione

Io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati benissimo, non solo la casa corrispondeva esattamente alle informazioni che avevamo ricevuto ma il proprietario si è dimostrato estremamente cortese e disponibile. L'appartamento si trova in una tipica casa di ringhiera "vecchia Milano" in zona centralissima (a due passi dalla metropolitana e dalla fermata del tram, adiacente il naviglio) ed è completamente ristrutturato e servito da ascensore. Il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto!

"Ho trovato la casa perfettamente rispondente alla descrizione, ben tenuta, comoda, pulita e funzionale. L''accesso è facilissimo perchè si trova a soli 200 metri dalla linea verde della metropolitana e, proprio davanti al portone, ferma il tram che porta in stazione centrale. Il proprietario è persona estremamente discreta, affabile e cordiale ed ha fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro soggiorno più confortevole. Siamo perfettamente soddisfatti."

"We spend a week in this apartment and can surely recommend it for those who like artistic atmosphere of the flat and surrounding of the Navigli. We liked that a lot! Location is near to the metro station, there is also tram 9 staying almost opposite to the building. Convenient store is on the way to the station. In the apartment there is everything what`s needed ( maybe apart from microven). Mr. Giovanni is a charming and very helpful host. There were just one thing: quite low water pressure what we suppose is normal in such old buildings".
