The colorful city of Santa Monica is sandwiched between Venice and Malibu along the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean. With three great shopping destinations, shopping here is a must! You have 3rd Street Promenade, Montana Ave and Main Street. The Santa Monica Pier features the famous Pacific Park: a family amusement park with a large Ferris wheel, a vintage carousel built in the 1920s, an aquarium, shops, entertainers, an arcade, a pub, and restaurants. The Santa Monica Pier is a must-see destination for those visiting Southern California.

Other favorite destinations in Malibu: Zuma Beach. Eat at the Reel Inn or Taverna Tony's (Greek). Visit Malibu Country Mart, a local hangout and wine tasting at Malibu Family Wines.
Going South: Manhattan Beach, a 15 minutes drive and one of our favorite destinations. The most upscale of the South Bay beach towns, Manhattan Beach's vibe is urban, with lots of volleyball nets, boutiques, restaurants, cafes a pier and surfers. The oceanfront homes, with paved walkways for pedestrians and bicycles are a sight of it's own. Hermosa Beach is the neighboring beach city with a softer touch and a more quiet vibe.
Next Beach over is Redondo Beach. Kayaking, swimming, bike cycling and sport fishing are popular activities in Redondo. While visiting make sure to visit the Pier: fishermen's fishing poles all over the railing, and once in a while you'll see someone reel in a catch. You'll also find restaurants and fast-food stands here, along with souvenir shops.
Keep driving south and you'll get to the Palos Verdes Peninsula. It has a spectacular coastline and views. It is a 26.3 square mile, located about 23 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. One of the most beautiful destinations in Southern California, things to see are Point San Vicente Lighthouse, Terranea Resort, Cielo Point Pool, Bluff Top Trail, Abalone Cove State Beach, watch the Sunset, golfing at Trump National Golf Course and much more.
Hollywood is about a 13 mile drive Northeast, there are plenty of tourist attractions in Hollywood. Drive up to get a closer look at the Hollywood sign, there's plenty of parking to view the sign by Lake Hollywood Park. Sunset Ranch Hollywood, the ranch offers a variety of daily trail rides through Griffith Park. Park somewhere close or at Hollywood Blvd and walk on the sidewalks with all the stars and stop at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre to check out the hand and/or foot imprints. Other places to visit are, Hollywood Bowl, Roosevelt Hotel, and spend a day at my favorite amusement park, Universal Studios.
Beverly Hills. Drive along Mulholland Drive and see spectacular views, you will also see the Hollywood Sign from the road. Spend a couple of hours and walk the walk of the privileged, the most famous high class street in the world, Rodeo Drive. Drive by and even stop at Beverly Hills Hotel, a true landmark of Beverly Hills.
Downtown LA is a hot spot, with new cafes, restaurants, clubs popping up daily, but downtown LA is also rich with historic architecture and cultural attractions, not to mention sports and entertainment complexes. Here are a few tips on things to do, Visit Olvera Street, the oldest street in LA, Union Station, Disney Concert Hall, Chinatown, LA LIVE, take a walking tour, Fashion District, Museum of Contemporary Art.

This is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated with a nice outdoor space. It’s close to Venice and Santa Monica, and other stuff in LA is as close as traffic allows. Quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Perfect house for a family!
This house was perfect for our family Christmas vacation, visiting relatives. It's conveniently located by grocery store, park, and restaurants (all within walking distance). And it was about 10-20 minutes from everywhere we needed/wanted to go... visiting friends, shopping, sightseeing, the beach, and airport. The house was very well kept, comfortable, and has easy parking for visitors. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Villa Harmony to others.
Helene was very responsive, and made our Christmas morning more special for our children by providing a little Christmas tree.

Fantastic 1st visit to LA!
Our family of 4 (2 kids ages 11 & 9) had the best time in LA. And it began with this awesome house that was in a nice clean and safe neighborhood (we enjoyed Halloween Trick or Treating) in a perfect location to explore all the LA area has to offer. The house was exactly as represented. Everything was spotless and well stocked. Helene was readily available anytime I had questions and she provided us with a nice list of activities to do while were exploring the area. Manhattan Beach being one of them, love that whole town, beach and vibe and it was only about 7 miles or 15 minutes away. We hope to be back one day!

We spent a wonderful week at the Harmony Villa while in town for LMU’s graduation ceremony at So-Fi Stadium.
Lovely decor and plenty of space to unwind and relax. The fire pit made for nice evenings outside, we didn’t need to use the fans or A/C at all.
Short walk to Ralph’s and Von’s to gather supplies for eating in.
Enjoyed lunches at In and Out Burger, Honeybird in USC Village and Gjusta in Venice, Happy Hours at Bacari PDR and Hook and Plow and dinners at Irori Sushi and Loupiotte Kitchen in Los Felix and walked over to KC Crepes a few times. Would recommend them all!
Spent a day at the Getty Center and Getty Villa. Walked to Sunday Mass at the LMU’s chapel and were able to see The Hollywood Sign from the Bluff. Spent time on Manhattan Beach, Walked through USC’s campus to see Traveler and Tommy Trojan (Fight In!) and of course, the reason for our trip, spent a day at graduation festivities. Go Lions!
Hope to return again, not only is the villa lovely, the neighborhood is safe and quiet.
is clean, make you feel be at home, parking space was very easy, the host was very helpful. is close to the grocery shop. I would recommend 100% if you go to los Angeles with your family.
My family and I stayed at Villa Harmony over the holidays. Helene and Michael have a beautiful home that they shared with us.
It for my family perfectly for our needs of being away from our home in NJ. I didn’t have to worry about a thing because it was provided for us. It was great peace of mind. Their home is located in a very nice part of Los Angelos. Thank you again for sharing your home with us! Happy new year!
Absolutely beautiful house with all of the things you need in order for a family to be very comfy staying here. The host is an absolute rockstar. She even checked on us to make sure we weren’t cold due to the unexpected winds and low temperatures in California. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay here again! Thank you.
Lovely, tastefully and efficiently appointed, house in a quiet residential neighborhood with everything you need in the many closets and cupboards. Great beaches nearby and close to the airport, but you barely hear the planes. We loved our stay and the top-notch management by Helene and Michael.
Perfect little spot to be central to everything that’s cool about LA. It was convenient to get to one of our work locations as well. Quiet and comfortable as well
We stayed 6 nights and had a full LA itinerary. Mom and 4 teens13-17. The house is located centrally to every place on our list—-Santa Monica, Venice, Hollywood, downtown LA, Melrose, and even a little trip to Magic Mountain. The neighborhood is quiet and homey… perfect after a busy day in a busier city. We didn’t have occasion to turn on the TV. We did make s’mores, ate together, and when we needed space, there are lots of places to go sit and recharge, indoors and out. Very peaceful and everything was close by like the supermarket, good coffee and good Thai food. Amazing experience!
Cannot think Helene and Michael enough for their incredible hospitality. From the location, cleanliness, utensils and details of the home - just perfect. Not to mention, above and beyond customer service throughout and even after our stay.
Thought I left something behind and she was so flexible and understanding with accommodating me to find it - when I had it the whole time 😂
Cannot thank you enough 🙏‼️ And cannot wait to be back. 10/10!
My wife and I were in need of a place to stay due to water damage ln our home. It really felt like home. The designs and decor was perfect. I haven’t been on a vacation for some years and it made us feel like we were in the right place
The house was very clean and had great space for our family. The kitchen and bathroom looked like they had a recent remodel so it felt clean and new but within a house with character and charm.
The location was pretty convenient as well. Very close to LAX and it seems like the surrounding area is getting some good options for eating and shopping. We enjoyed breakfast at The Coffee Company just up the street.
The house had a keyless check-in which was nice since we didn't need to coordinate a check in time. The hosts were very responsive though when we did message them (5-10min response time).
The only thing we wished was the common area windows offered a little more privacy. They had window treatments, but they were a bit sheer and felt exposed especially at night. The two bedrooms we used had good light blocking curtains though.
Overall a great stay!
We are a family of 5 (3 boys ages 12, 15 & 18) and this house was perfect for us in every way! We felt right at home and it was centrally located affording us the opportunity to do everything we wanted (Warner Bros tour, Hollywood, Malibu, Disneyland, Santa Monica and Venice Beach). It was a fabulous trip and I would recommend this home to anyone! The house is lovely, clean and convenient. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard (being from NJ, this gave us a taste of summer in Feb.). This experience was smooth from start to finish! Rent with confidence!
We had a great stay, lots of nice amenities that made us feel right at home. Easy access to LAX and nearby beaches. Wonderful backyard with fire pit, great games for the entire family and toys for the beach. Highly recommended!
We had such a wonderful experience. The owners are delightful to work with and the property and neighborhood far exceeded our expectations.
Less than 5 minutes to LAX and convenient to every place we explored.
Can’t wait to return!
Villa Harmony was the perfect getaway for my family on our recent trip to LA. The home is well looked after and perfectly situated in close proximity to many attractions. Helene and Michael have done a great job in thinking of everything to make their guests have an enjoyable experience in LA.
We loved all the amenities included, and truly enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely be back at Villa Harmony on our next visit in LA. Highly recommend staying here and having a terrific experience in LA and not worrying about where to stay. Villa Harmony is a terrific choice and my family is already planning for our next stay here.
Thanks again Helene and Michael for the fabulous hospitality you showed us!
Regards,
The Palazzo family
Thank you for the wonderful stay! It had everything we needed including beach towels, toaster, bottle of wine and more.
