The colorful city of Santa Monica is sandwiched between Venice and Malibu along the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean. With three great shopping destinations, shopping here is a must! The oceanfront homes, with paved walkways for pedestrians and bicycles are a sight of it's own. Hermosa Beach is the neighboring beach city with a softer touch and a more quiet vibe.
Next Beach over is Redondo Beach. Kayaking, swimming, bike cycling and sport fishing are popular activities in Redondo. You'll also find restaurants and fast-food stands here, along with souvenir shops.

Drive up to get a closer look at the Hollywood sign, there's plenty of parking to view the sign by Lake Hollywood Park. Sunset Ranch Hollywood, the ranch offers a variety of daily trail rides through Griffith Park. Park somewhere close or at Hollywood Blvd and walk on the sidewalks with all the stars and stop at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre to check out the hand and/or foot imprints. Other places to visit are, Hollywood Bowl, Roosevelt Hotel, and spend a day at my favorite amusement park, Universal Studios.
Beverly Hills. Drive along Mulholland Drive and see spectacular views, you will also see the Hollywood Sign from the road. Spend a couple of hours and walk the walk of the privileged, the most famous high class street in the world, Rodeo Drive. Drive by and even stop at Beverly Hills Hotel, a true landmark of Beverly Hills.
