About Nathan Jespersen

My wife Sara and I have been married for over 12 years, have 2 kids, Tori and Ellie. We live in Stillwater and also have our office space downtown. We both work in the fitness and health industry.

Nathan Jespersen purchased this house in 2012

Why Nathan Jespersen chose Metro

We stumbled on this property in the summer of 2012. The home was in rough shape, but the property and the location was paradise. We renovated the home to our liking. The home is also rich in Stillwater history. The trail behind the house used to be the old trolley track that commuted loggers throughout Stillwater back in the 1800's. The trolley house is converted into a home now and is our closest neighbor. We've thoroughly enjoyed this property for the 3 short years we've been here. We felt that it would be fun to share this little treasure with others.

What makes this house unique

By far, the most fascinating aspects of this home is the view of the lake and wildlife. You can see the sunset over the lake from every room in the home. What also makes this property unique is it's country secluded feel, while still amidst the populated downtown Stillwater area. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we have.

A very welcoming quiet oasis

  • 5 of 5

Our motorcycle crew had a wonderful time here! Very well stocked house, clean and comfortable. As stated the lake is definitely not swimmable but the kayaking was fun and the hot tub was a great treat after riding all day. My favorite was relaxing chatting reliving the day around the fire pit.

Nathan was very responsive to all my questions and very easy to communicate with.

Best vacation rental ever

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for Fourth of July and had the best time! From the house to the yard and the lake; everything was great. We kayaked and built fires in the fire pit. Also it is a short walk from the downtown Stillwater area; so perfect if you want to go out at night. Only complaint was some algae in the lake; but hey it's part of nature and we are from Arizona so any time we can be near some water is exciting for us!!! Seriously a great stay and I would highly recommend for anyone staying in or around Stillwater.

Amazingly peaceful and beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

I reserved this VRBO for a girls weekend with my mom and sister. We could not have asked for better accommodations! We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the lake each evening. The house was extremely well kept, had everything we needed, and felt safe in a secured home. Nathan was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of when/if needed. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Stillwater, and let others know about this beautiful home!

Everything we wanted

  • 5 of 5

The house was great. Our 4 person group arrived after midnight due to flight delays and we had zero trouble getting into the house. The space was beautiful, well maintained and appointed. The location of the property was amazing. You are right next to downtown Stillwater and in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but the private drive gives and location gives you a completely secluded feeling. Would recommend and stay here again. As for Downtown Stillwater, we all loved it. For a small town it has so much great food and fun stores to walk in. Our weather was less then desirable, but it would have been a blast to canoe and ride bikes along the river.

Beautiful Home + Perfect Location = Amazing Stay

  • 5 of 5

If I could give this property extra stars I would! We used this home as a family headquarters for my daughter's wedding in Stillwater. The location was just minutes from downtown or to go up to the mall area & private enough to allow downtime from all the wedding festivities.

The home was immaculate, with more than enough room for our three families to feel comfortable. The gathering spaces hosted comfortable furniture and large TVs for relaxing. Everything was beautifully decorated and sported modern appliances and nice appointments. The two bathrooms were spacious and had great water pressure. The kitchen was nicely stocked and had a large bar area helpful for cooking and fun for everyone to gather around. The open feel of the home made for a very enjoyable stay.

Nate was super helpful and responsive, with positive communication throughout the whole process! We appreciated his attention to every detail to make our stay the best it could be.

The outdoor space was beautiful, with amazing views of the lake visible from most rooms. Our little grandkids also enjoyed the tire swing, playing ball, and the wonderfully large yard.

I would not hesitate to book this wonderful location again and would highly recommend this to anyone who was looking for a great space to spend some time in Stillwater!

The Meadowlark Cottage is a little piece of paradise; rich in Stillwater history and close to downtown Stillwater and the St. Croix River. The trail behind the home used to be the old Trolley track that commuted loggers throughout Stillwater back in the 1800's. The trolley house is converted into a home now and is our closest neighbor. You can follow this trail down all the way around Lake McKusick or take it down the creek to downtown Stillwater. Downtown Stillwater has much to offer; wonderful restaurants, shopping and antique stores. And, for recreation, boating up and down the river gives the most scenic representation of the Valley.
