Lovely stay in Alghero

Spacious and clean apartment with 3 bedrooms and 3 balconies. Kitchen had all the usual utensils and there were also some cupboard items left by previous hosts, such as coffee, sugar, oil etc. The only thing we were missing were wine glasses though. Air-con was included in the price and was working fine. There was a small issue with wifi not working but it was fixed within a few hours of reporting it. The location is great too, only a 5 min walk to the nearest beach which isn’t very nice so recommend to hop on a bus or a scooter and head to Maria Pia. Alghero old town is a pleasant 20 min stroll on a promenade. Two big supermarkets are about 5 min walk away and the bus stops to the airport or other towns are literally up the street. Plenty of free parking nearby too. They have a weird recycling/rubbish collecting system in Alghero, each morning they are collecting a different type so make sure you put the correct bin outside the night before. Otherwise you will need to take it to the nearest collection point which is by the Isa supermarket. This was my first booking with Vrbo and all went smoothly. Roberto is a very helpful and accommodating host and the property manager Antonietta is also nice. Our flight was at night and Roberto and Antonietta very kindly helped us out with a late checkout. None of them speak English though so best to communicate via email or messaging.

Arrogant comunication of the owner from the begining regarding beds (due to back and hip surgery)

1. No lift and 2nd floor -missing information about it from the owner 2. Wifi with extremly slow speed 3. Tv - a small monitor maybe 17” from a technical museum - a real shame to put in a flat for rent (a laptop screen is normally larger) 4. Wardrobes full of owners things , drawers of wardrobe in one room not possible to open ,kitchen drawers filled with old flour etc (year 2018 full of animals!) 5. A real shame the matress quality in the master bedroom , the futon 25 cm from the floor !!!!! 6. damaged dirty toilet cover 7. sofa in the living room separated in 2 peaces covered with 2 orange stinky mould rags ,towels stinky ,shower full of mould ,poor light in all flat ,not working light over the mirror 8. cover over the balcony door in kitchen damaged and highly risky to fall down on someones head 9. Only 2 gas places worked in the stove 10. damaged wall lamp without a cover in master bedroom 11. damaged fridge openings All in all poor furniture quality , low hygiene level .There was no investment in the flat in last minimum 15 years .Real shame to offer it for rent .

Lage top, schnell am Strand.Checkin war etwas ungenau u schwierig in Englisch, aber bemüht und letztendlich erfolgreich. Die Wohnung ist zwar groß u klinatisiert, aber leider sehr einfach ausgestattet u etliche Dinge defekt. Das kann mal vorkommen, aber es waren schlicht viele kleine Dinge (Schrank, Kühlschranktür, Steckdose Bad usw). Die Reinigung könnte besser arbeiten.

Bij het inchecken was de gastheer niet aanwezig en nam in eerste niet op bij het bellen. Even later gelukkig wel en na een pasr minuten kon hij mij duidelijk maken dat de sleutel in een sleutelkluiske lag enkele tientallen meters verderop. Het appartement was prima met een aantal verbeterpunten: bij het aanzetten van de oven sloegen de stoppen regelmatig door, het 2 -perssonsbed voor de kinderen was echt te smal voor 2 jongens van 17, op de balkons zou een klein zitje wel leuk zijn, Verder een goede locatie dichtbij het strand en 20 minuten lopen over een mooie gezellige boulevard naar het oude centrum, appartement was lekker ruim, wel lagen er veel privespullen en prive foto's aan de muur. Hele leuke vakantie gehad

Esperienza pessima – appartamento sporco, pericoloso e gestione poco seriaLa nostra esperienza in questo appartamento ad Alghero è stata davvero deludente, sotto molti aspetti. Ecco cosa è successo:Dopo aver ricevuto la conferma della prenotazione, il proprietario ci ha contattati dicendo che l’appartamento era già occupato da altri per i primi tre giorni. Anche se l’errore non era nostro, ci è stato proposto un appartamento “equivalente” per quei giorni – ma aveva solo due camere da letto (ne avevamo richieste tre) e nessun soggiorno.Dopo tre giorni, siamo finalmente entrati nell’appartamento prenotato – ed era in condizioni pessime: sporco, con sabbia sul pavimento, spazzatura nel bagno, copriwater rotto. L’aria condizionata non funzionava. La TV era guasta, sostituita solo dopo diversi giorni con un televisore molto piccolo. I proprietari erano a Milano, la comunicazione è stata difficile e poco cordiale.La cosa più grave: abbiamo trovato delle pastiglie infilate nel materasso – un fatto inaccettabile e potenzialmente molto pericoloso. Inoltre, una parte in legno della tapparella era instabile e rischiava di cadere: la loro "riparazione" consisteva nell’attaccarla con la colla. Assurdo.Nel bagno mancava la luce, e quando abbiamo chiesto una lampada, ci è stato detto che era “solo decorativa”.In sintesi: un appartamento mal gestito, sporco, pericoloso e con gravi mancanze strutturali. Assolutamente sconsigliato

nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Alghero. L’appartement est bien situé proche de la plage et à quelques pas du centre. Appartement propre et parfait pour un couple et 2 adolescents. Le + les 2 clim Ce qui pourrait être légèrement amélioré, avoir un peu plus d’équipement ménager, cafetière plus grande, grille pain… si non rien à dire. bon séjour

Appartamento in posizione comoda, perfetto per 4 persone, in 5 una deve dormire sul divano che non è comodissimo. Unico problema della casa è lo scarico del condizionatore, bisogna ricordarsi di svuotare il secchio, se non lo si fa si rischia di bagnare la tenda del primo piano e si rischia di essere svegliati alle 7.00 dal vicino. (Problema da risolvere). Per il resto ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Séjour agréable à Alghero

Appartement confortable, avec climatisation. Emplacement pas loin du centre-ville et de la plage à pied. Seul bémol, il y a un lit en 120 pour 2. C’est un peu petit.

Lovely quiet place,great location to the beach.

The apartment is decorated in a lovely style and perfectly located few steps from the sea ..The neighborhood is served by restaurants, bars and supermarkets,.The historic Old town of Algero can be reached via a pleasant walk along the sea in 15 minutes on foot.The owner Roberto was very helpful and prompt with any requests or queries.We enjoy our holiday in Sardinia .Thank you Roberto.

Great location

The property is a 2nd floor apartment in a residential area approximately 150m from the beach. A great location for beach, restaurants, supermarket etc and about 15 minutes walk from the old town and harbour. Bus stops nearby with excellent routes to airport and other towns. Sassari and Bosa are both well worth a visit. We stayed in the apartment with another couple and there was plenty of living space. It was very clean, reasonably well equipped and there were plenty of well used towels and bed linen. An extra key would have been useful for when we went out separately. an enjoyable holiday

Appartamento ben ubicato in posizione centrale ,vicino il lungo mare e il centro citta'.Comodo e con tutte le comodità per una famiglia di 5 persone.Casa trovata pulita e munita di lavatrice ,utile per tutte le mamme! L' appartamento consente di raggiungere a piedi piu ' supermercati ,situati in zona. Soggiorno gradevole e consigliato.

Rilassante...

Ho soggiornato con mio marito e mia figlia per poco più di una settimana in questo appartamento che ha pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative: l'abbiamo trovato pulito, silenzioso, arieggiato, gli spazi ben distribuiti e ben attrezzati (unico neo la porta del bagno che cigolava un po'). Si trova vicino alla spiaggia (in cinque minuti a piedi) e la passeggiata sul lungomare per raggiungere il centro è piacevole. Piacevole anche la sollecitudine con cui è stata cambiata la bombola del gas, e la disponibilità delle persone cui è stato affidato. Noi eravamo tre adulti, ma lo consiglio anche a famiglie con bambini. Grazie a Carla e Roberto per avercelo proposto. Margherita con Antonio e Giulia... :-)

Splendida vacanza ad Alghero

L'appartamento è molto comodo, ben arredato e pulito. I supermercati distano 5 minuti a piedi. La spiaggia del Lido è vicinissima. Al centro storico si arriva con una passeggiata di 20 minuti. E' un po' difficile trovare il parcheggio perchè nei giorni centrali di agosto Alghero viene invasa dai turisti. Noi ci siamo trovati molto molto bene e saremmo ben felici di poterci soggiornare anche l'anno prossimo!!!! Milena Stefano Elia Jaine

Casa molto confortevole

Casa molto bella ed areata,in una zona tranquilla. Spiaggia, supermercati, ristoranti, gelaterie tutto ciò che si può desiderare a portata di mano! Un consiglio che vorrei dare ai proprietari per farla diventare perfetta " un microonde e qualche stoviglia in più ".

"location vraiment très agréable, entièrement rénovée avec des équipements modernes, très bien située à 1 minute de la plage de ville et 10 minutes à pieds d''une belle plage avec dunes et pins. La vieille ville d''Alghero se situe à 15 minutes à pieds pour un adulte et 20 minutes avec des enfants mais c''est le long d''une agréable digue, avec palmiers, le long de la plage. différents supermarchés et restaurants proche de l''appartement dans un rayon de 150 mètres. l''ami du propriétaire qui nous a accueilli est très gentil et disponible;"
