The apartment is in the third floor of a traditional building in the heart of picturesque Bica neighourhood. You'll find one confortable bedroom, a comfy living room with one sofa, a walking closet, a kitchen and bathroom with shower.
At a walking distance from the riverbank, the apartment has a breathtaking view of the river and roofs of the city. The decoration is modern but keeps a touch of the Lisbon and Potuguese heritage.
The bedroom has a confortable double bed room and two other guests can be accomodated in the sofa in the living room.

Bica neighbourhood is well known for its hospitality and hosts one of the most popular Santo António parties (a street party in June 13th). Is also known for the XIXth century funicular that connects the riverside area with Bairro Alto and Chiado, the trendiest blocks in the city.
Bica Funicular - Designed by Raúl Mesnier du Ponsard, was inaugurated in 1892. In 2002 was classified as a National Monument. It climbs the Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo for 245 metres- The entrance to the apartment building is located in this street, in its lower part, where stands a charming small square.
Mercado da Ribeira - It's the main Lisbon market. Here you you can find either the most exquisite flowers or gourmet products. But the main attraction are the food stalls in one of the main halls, where you can try the best international and Portuguese cuisine. Just around the corner.
Bairro Alto - The trendiest neighbourhood in the city, it's packed with modern bars and restaurants. It's just at the top of the street.
Chiado - Take a five minutes walk up the street and you get into the 18th century city's heart Chiado is where the Opera Theatre (Teatro de São Carlos) and the Modern Art Museum are located. Its restaurants, fancy shops and nice bars are well known either to locals or visitors.
Baixa district - Just at a 15 minutes walk, this was the area of the city rebuilt in the 18th century. It's limited by two squares (one faces the river) and is a well known shopping district. The famous Rua Augusta arch is open to visits daily and around the corner is located the Museum of Design.
The Cais do Sodré subway station is just 5 minutes away from the apartment. In the some station you can take the train to Cascais, a charming town well known for its beaches. Down the street from the apartment, you have several buses and also a tramway line that goes along the river bank.
The connection to the airport is very easy: you get in the airport subway station and you get off in Cais do Sodré Station! It takes only 30 minutes. An expectable cab fare is 15 to 20 euros.
