Beautiful home with a beautiful lake view

  • 5 of 5

We were visiting our son and his future in laws which were both 15 minutes in opposite directions from the house. We weren't expecting to be around that much but it was so peaceful that we spent more time fishing and kayaking then we thought we would. We had a fire one night and it was wonderful. I would mention that there are about 72 steps down to the water front that was not a problem for us but it might be for someone older. Also you really need to bring your own boats with you to enjoy the lake. They do have a paddle boat that is lots of fun but a lot of work too LOL. We were fortunate that my son had a friend from church who lent us his two kayaks that truly made the trip. The lake is so beautiful and we enjoyed exploring and looking at the other beautiful homes on it. We watched people jet skiing and tubing which would of been a blast so if you can bring your own. We would definitely stay there again. Their house had everything that you could need and more. They truly made it beautiful. And all the neighbors are so friendly. It went beyond my expectations. Plus the homeowner Tammy was quite nice and extremely helpful. Two thumbs up!

Friends Food & Fun

  • 5 of 5

We never expected to wake up to such a wonderful view every morning. It was so nice sitting out in the evening around the fire pit laughing, enjoying music and catching up with each other. We also had really good food which we prepared ourselves in the well designed open kitchen. Bring a friend or two who enjoys cooking. We also ate out at a couple of the local restaurants. The ice cream from the local dairy farm was phenomenal. I did decide to have a girlfriends getaway, but it's very kid & pet friendly as well. The sounding neighborhood is quaint, with friendly folks greeting you along the way. Thank you Jim & Tammy.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.

Little Fish Cottage worked for our long weekend perfectly. The beds were cozy and the proximity to Big Fish Lake can't be beat. Working with the ever lovely Tammy was a breeze and she was available to answer any of my questions.

We will definitely return.

Little Fish Family Thanksgiving

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Little Fish Cottage for a week. We were in Michigan to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The cottage had everything we needed. Although it was too cold to swim, we were able to go for long walks, sometimes to the nearby park and other times on the quiet roads surrounding the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage came stocked with lots of extra blankets. Tammy even offered to supply extra pots and pans to help us with our Thanksgiving cooking and baking. Every morning we watched the sun rise over the lake. I would love to stay again when the weather is warm!

Beautiful vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Little Fish. Jim and Tammy are awesome in every way. The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need. My grandson as well as the rest of our family felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. The next door neighbor was so nice, always greeted us with a smile every time we seen him. We will be back.

An awesome vacation home.

Jim and Tammy have created the ultimate vacation home, we were comfortable the minute we opened the door. The home is beautifully decorated and more than adequately stocked. They made sure we were comfortable and happy with our vacation, even suggesting places to see and do. The yard and the view are gorgeous and we will be back. Even the neighbor is a great guy he always greeted us with a smile everytime we saw him.
