It offers a 6x12 m property pool, a pool area to have lunch or dinner, a beautiful terrace along the house, 4 40-sq.m bedrooms, well decorated, a traditional kitchen with all the modern comforts, and an authentic fireplace. You will also find a large living room with two armchairs, a chest of drawers, pedestal tables, and a 50-sq.m fireplace. There is also a 40-sq.m living room with two sofas, armchairs, pedestal tables and a flat screen TV. It is located in a village, in the middle of the countryside and Cognac vineyards. Furnishing is elegant. With its 2 fireplaces, the property is also pleasant in winter.

Fantastic holiday

We had a fantastic stay at this property. We loved it so much that we returned for a second visit this year. The house is beautiful and the pool was brilliant. Everything is exactly as it is in the pictures. The host met us on the day and showed us how everything worked. We will definitely be booking this property again. Brilliant.

A relaxing stay

The house and pool are lovely. The pool is very big. The external areas are well maintained. The house is equipped with classic and high-end furniture. And the opposite of cluttered, which I loved. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The neighbourhood is very quiet with no shops around except for a bakery one mile away. The nearest supermarket is about 8 miles away. You definitely need a vehicle to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was the house has no air con, and there are many bugs and mosquitos which doesn’t make opening windows appealing, even though the breeze is lovely. A handful of windows have screens, but not the majority.

Experience a holiday in the countryside, in a peaceful place, well connected through transportation services: TGV Paris Angoulême and TER Jarnac or Cognac at 3:30 pm. Every day, there are local markets in Cognac and Jarnac. There is an excellent fishmonger market on Tuesdays and Fridays. It has the southern temperatures in summer, and it is temperate all year round.
