Great property and location

Love the location close to Arras and all major tourist things to do , the house is great and the park beautiful we did not have a chance to try the pool because it was not filled with water even if the temperature was over 29 Celsius

Motor bike holiday

Had a lovely stay with friends and my partner . The host could not be more helpful. We sent cases there before hand and sending back with help from the host. The accommodation was clean and good. The grounds and pool were clean and amazing and you were free to walk around very secluded. Near Arras 10 mins drive away. Would recommend for friends and families also . A top class stay.

Sehr schönes Ferienhäuschen mit separatem Bereich für die Kinder

Wir hatten fünf sehr schöne Tage in diesem gemütlichen Ferienhaus mit himmlischem Park und riesigem Pool! Leider konnte man die hintere Tür immer nur kurz offen halten, da die Katze der Eigentümer ihre Toilette direkt davor hatte (Geruchsbelästigung). Aus demselben Grund konnten wir die Fenster in den Erdgeschosszimmern auch nicht lange öffnen. Daher bewerte ich das Ferienhaus insgesamt nur mit vier Sternen. Unglaublich ist der Park mit dem riesigen Pool, zu dessen Nutzung wir sogar von Florence eingeladen wurden. Florence, die Gastgeberin, ist super nett und immer erreichbar! Insgesamt also durchaus empfehlenswert!

Highly Recommended for a great break in France

Perfect peace in Hautes-de-France.

We had a wonderful few days staying in this quiet, comfortable, spacious cottage while visiting local WWI sites. Florence generously provided everything that we needed, and even stocked the fridge with tasty local products! We would have loved to spend more time "at home" in the cottage and exploring the historic grounds and village. We are left hoping that we can return for a longer stay.

Florence was a wonderful hostess. We have rented many gites in France,but this was by far the best yet. Lovely grounds, hospitable owners, and comfortable accommodations all contributed to our visit. I highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

A property full of French character - loved it

A very nice property in gorgeous surroundings with a huge communal garden - only drawback no instructions ( that we could find ) for the cooker and oven. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful gite in an ideal location

Comfortable, well equipped gite set in amazing grounds. The accommodation comfortably fitted 6 of us and the log fire was great. Perfect location for us to explore the nearby sites of The First World War.

Comfortable stay in adorable gite

We had a very nice stay in Florence's lovely gite. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs each with a queen bed and 4 twins upstairs which was perfect for us. The kitchen is well appointed, we lacked for nothing. Florence's sons even brought over a soccer ball for my boys to use. The grounds are very nice. The next village (about 3 min drive) has a boulangerie and small grocery. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

Loved our 4 nights at Etrun. A beautiful country setting and the cottage is gorgeous. Had everything we needed for a family of five...including the open fire to keep us warm! Wished we could have stayed longer.

Very Hard to Leave

Highlight of our stay in France. We particularly enjoyed sense of place. This is an historic estate with all the charm and mystic of Normandy. The grounds are caught in a time warp circa 1900. The residence was totally equipped to support a long and comfortable stay. Three days was too short. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful cottage with 5 star host

We had a great week in this lovely cottage. We had everything in the cottage to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, all of this while staying in beautiful surroundings. Our boys loved the big garden and made good use of all the space by playing rugby outside! There was lots to do in the area, we visited some of the battlefield memorials and even drove to Ypres to watch the Menin Gate ceremony. We also managed some lovely walks in the area. The best thing about this cottage is the host, Florence and her family. Florence went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Overall a lovely cottage in beatiful surroundings with a superb host!

Très beau gîte et parc Splendide

Le gîte est idéalement placé à 8km du centre d'Arras. Il est au calme dans un domaine magnifique. Les 8 couchages permettent un séjour en famille ou entre amis très agréable. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle , tout y est. Un petit jardin privatif permet de déjeuner ou dîner à l'extérieur avec un barbecue. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques peu présents mais disponibles si besoin. Je garde cette adresse et recommande fortement ce gîte.

Es war eine superschöne Zeit die wir in diesem Ferienhaus verbringen konnten. Die Gastfreundlichkeit, unsere Unterkunft, der Park und die Umgebung haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Das Haus ist sehr modern eingerichtet, die Küche ist tipptopp und die selbstgemachte Marmelade war wirklich sehr lecker. Unsere kleine Tochter hatte dort ein kleines Spielegerüst was wir direkt neben dem Haus im Familien eigenen Park nutzen konnten und die täglichen Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund dort waren sehr angenehm, das Wasser der kleinen Teichen und Flüsse/Bäche ist absolut klar, das wir total überrascht waren, wie sauber es ist. Einfach ganz tolle unterkunft und aufgrund der Lage wirklich zu empfehlen! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Wege zum Spaziergang und Fahrrad fahren, Restaurants und Spielplätze direkt in der Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder, können einfach nur 5 Sterne für den Aufenthalt geben. Vielen Dank an die lieben Gastgeber!

The cottage is very clean and we'll equipped.

The owners were very welcoming, and provided coffee and home-made jam that was delicious. The beds are extremely comfortable. The only drawback for us was that there was no English language TV as it had only French channels. At least we had Wifi.

Our best ever stay in France

We booked a week away at this gite for a quite Christmas and we had a great time the cottage is easy to find and is set in the most amazing landscaped grounds where you can enjoy walking in what remains of the old Abbey and we want to go back in the summer to experience the gardens. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and had gone to the trouble of putting a few Christmas decorations up for our arrival which was a nice touch and the cottage is fully equipped with every thing you need for your stay and cosy and warm and spotlessly clean. There is a small supermarket about 2 minutes away in the next village with petrol and car wash facilities and the main town of Arras only a short trip away and the shops there are great as was the Christmas market which is a must if you are visiting at that time of year. I would fully recommend this property and it is ideal for couples and families alike.
