It is composed by a sitting room with a sofa bed, a kitchen, a large bedroom and a bathroom with shower. There is also a large garden with a panoramic view over Barga's cathedral and the surrounding countryside. Feel free to take any fruit or herbs you like, from our many trees and plants or our organic vegetable garden, depending on the season. Barga is one of the 100 most beautiful medieval villages in Italy, as reported on the guide 'I 100 borghi più belli d'Italia'. In summer the village organizes many events like local food fairs, Barga jazz festival, art exhibitions and craft markets. Garfagnana is an area of outstanding beauty, with some of the most spectacular scenery that Tuscany has to offer. Barga is ideal for those who like trekking, cycling or art. In fact there are many trekking routes near the house. From Barga you can reach Lucca and Pisa in 45 minutes' drive, and Florence in 1.15 hrs. You can also easily reach the famous Abetone, the Parco dell'Orecchiella or visit one of the many medieval villages nearby.
