Nashville is booming! Our unique, private guesthouse is in one of the most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods. We are one block from Sevier Park and located between the 12 South District and 8th Ave South/Melrose, and only 10 minutes from downtown. The converted, detached loft -- formerly offices for an indie record label -- has been transformed into a sophisticated, well-appointed guesthouse with a full kitchen and every comfort you’ll need for a weekend getaway or a month’s residency.
Beautiful Sevier Park (1 block away) is home to the 12 South Farmer’s Market on Tuesday afternoons from May through October. The 20-acre park has a walking path, bicycles for rent, tennis and basketball courts. The new Sevier Park Community Center has excellent work out facilities, yoga and fitness classes (only $3!) and an indoor walking track.
The vibrant 12South District (2-7 blocks away) features wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and local shopping. Dine at Burger Up, Epice, Edley’s BBQ, Urban Grub, Tacqueria del Sol, Josephine, Bartaco, 12South Tap Room, relax at coffee houses Frothy Monkey or Portland Brew, enjoy gourmet popsicles at Las Paletas or indulge at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, and shop at trendy Imogene + Willie, White’s Mercantile (owned by Hank Williams’s granddaughter, Holly), Corner Music, Cadeau, Leona, Emerson and Grace, Serendipity or Reese Witherspoon's new store Draper James.

12 South Loft is well situated at the back of our half-acre lot surrounded by tall trees. Off-street parking is at the end of the driveway, only a few steps from the entrance through French doors. The Loft has about 500 square feet of living space on the main floor and a 200 square foot upstairs bedroom.
The new kitchen includes gas range, dishwasher, full-sized fridge with ice maker, microwave, Keurig coffee-maker, blender, toaster, and is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare snacks or cook full meals. Seating for 4.
The open living area has exposed bricks, 13’ ceilings, gas log fireplace, comfortable sleeper sofa, leather recliner, 50” flat screen and plenty of seating for 4 people.
Bathroom has shower (but no tub), open shelves, fluffy white towels, extra toiletries and hair dryer.
Upstairs bedroom is 10’ x 20’, partially open to living area below, and has a very comfortable queen bed, sitting area, 32” flat screen TV, and plenty of room to spread out.
Private brick patio for your use only.
Amenities: free cable wi-fi, two flat screen TV’s with full channel lineup including HBO and free on-demand, books, magazines, bluetooth stereo system, private outdoor space.

A Cozy Retreat
This place was perfect for what we needed, and it offered all the comforts of home. We especially appreciated that the owners went out of their way to provide everything that we could possibly need during our stay. The location was perfect, too. It was very close to downtown Nashville but also very centralized to all of the other neighborhoods that we wanted to visit. 12 South Loft is an excellent place to stay when visiting the Nashville area!
Wonderful cottage in prime location for Nashville
This lovely cottage was perfect for our first visit to Nashville. The neighborhood turned out to be ideal. The cottage itself was so comfortable and clean. The owners obviously put great effort into insuring client satisfaction and we plan to return.
Location, location, location!
The perfect place to stay in Nashville because it was accessible to everywhere we explored. Literally a $6/7 Lyft ride away from anywhere. Very clean, several special touches (makeup wipes, beer and water in the fridge, etc.) and great use of the space. Easy access with plenty of parking. We’ll be back!
What a charming, peaceful place to stay. There were so many extra touches that made the loft inviting. We felt completely at home and are already discussing a return trip. Thank you, Lori and John, for being so accommodating to us and for making your loft so comfortable.

Cozy! Perfect for an extended stay
Aloha! Spent our first Christmas/New Year away from home and couldn't have been more happy with our choice of VRBO. Comfortable, cozy, conveniently located. Lori and John were very nice and helpful. Again, very happy with our choice and would definitely stay here again.
