A social enterprise eco lodge nestled in the Maya Mountain rainforest of Belize.
We are a spiritually-minded social enterprise eco lodge and retreat center whose mission is "to fill our guests with awe through a truly unique experience while making a positive difference in our local communities." Our staff and unique location helps create amazing travel memories for you while your stay with us helps provide scholarships for children in our local villages.
The Mayan Mountain rainforest is a world apart from the rest of Belize and it is a place filled with vivid colors, fascinating wildlife and a peacefulness that is unlike anywhere else on earth. Whichever type of Cabana you stay in you will experience the peace and vibrant life that can only be found at Jaguar Creek. Rooms are free of radios, clocks and TVs to allow you to be fully present in this life-giving environment – and since we are completely off grid, we use fans for cooling instead of air conditioning and we have limited wifi. And your stay will directly help our local communities through our social impact mission!
Each of our cabanas are designed to give you a private, comfortable, and unique jungle experience, and features the following amenities:
- Well ventilated through an open architectural design and fully screened to add comfort and protection.
- Fans to provide air flow and cooling during hot periods.
- Bed arrangement can be customized as desired.
- Quality bed linens and blankets.
- Private bathrooms complete with soap, towels and hot water.
- Made in Belize decor throughout.
- Welcome snack and drinks.

Wonderful stay. Hansel was so thoughtful and accommodating.
The whole complex was great. Our cabana was clean, airy, and welcoming.
We had breakfast and dinner for the three days we were there. Great local fare. The location was perfect to go to the ATM cave and Mayan ruins. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was a pleasure having you with us during your adventure in Belize! We are grateful you had a wonderful experience.
We look forward to seeing you again!
The staff of Jaguar Creek.
Very clean, the staff was amazing
We had such a great time. The staff was very friendly and extra accommodating, always available to answer a question or arrange an activity. They accommodated a gluten free diet of a very picky child with ease. We would definetly come back.
We enjoyed having you with us!
Please come again soon,
The staff of Jaguar Creek
There's a reason I keep coming back here! It's in a great location with endless options for activities in central Belize. Only a couple hours from Belize City, it's a nice place for an extended stay or just a few days to get your bearings. The grounds are amazing and the staff is so friendly. I recommend opting for the meals, the cooks do a great buffet style spread. Our host Carlos was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping us plan on what to do once we left. The whole place is just a really cool setup, with a refreshing stream to swim in, and trails to explore the rainforest. The bungalows are roomy. Great little romantic getaway in the jungle. Highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed!
It was a pleasure planning your short stay with us at Jaguar Creek. My team and i appreciated you selecting our destination as part of your belizean experience. We anxiously await your next visit to Jaguar Creek and if there is anything we can do to make your next visit even more amazing please let us know.
Fun jungle experience
The vegetation around the property is beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was nothing fancy, but was convenient and hearty. Our cabana had plenty of room, although better lighting would've been nice at night. There is nothing within walking distance, so you're kind of stuck on the property with nothing to do at night, which is fine if you're looking to relax, disconnect, and maybe do some reading. Overall, it provided a good home base for us to do nearby activities, such as the ATM cave tour.
It was great having you with us! Thanks for the review - and we're already working on adding more lamps into the Cabanas in 2017. Great minds think alike.
Come back soon - we have a lot planned for improvements in 2017!
Simply natural and wildlife abounds
