Loved this place! a 40 min drive to jasper, this home was big enough to fit us all (6)
very spacious, very clean and it had all of the necessities that were needed especially being out of town.
Highly recommended to anyone wanting a place you can relax and have a good time in.
I will defiantly be renting this place again in the summer!!!
Thank you for your review and the recommendation! We would be pleased to host you again, and summer is a wonderful time to vacation in the area.
Heavenly seclusion. With all amenities of a single family home.
Not for those whi want to enjoy Jasper. But wonderful for the crowd haters. It is located in a Secluded small village, hidden and isolated from all the tourist attractions, if you want to be away from all the tourist traffic of Jasper area. Yet you can go do everything outdoorsy in the area and come back to the seclusion.
Thank you for your review. While the property is a short drive from the Jasper town site, most of the wonderful places and sites to enjoy are along the drive. We have had an overwhelming positive response to the accessibility and location of the property from guests from all over the world. If the intent of a guest's trip is to enjoy the Canadian Rockies, hiking, skiing and boating, in a location with a 20 minute close proximity to commercial services, but with the advantage of being in the middle of a natural setting, then this is the ideal property for you.
Great vacation home
Immaculately clean, homey and attention to all details! A great place to return to after your day of activities. Large enough to accomadate a larger family. Thank you Darren.
The view from the front porch of the mountains is breath taking. Home is warm, comfortable and inviting. Our family of 4 enjoyed the weekend stay. Thank You!
Thank you for the kind review! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend at our property. Come back anytime!
A peaceful place
This is a neat and clean home in a remote hamlet. Interesting history surrounds the region. We enjoyed exploring and headed for the hot mineral baths one day but got snowed out. A couple things that would be helpful is an instruction sheet for the television, and another mirror besides the one in the bathroom. Jon - Happy Valley, Oregon
Fantastic place! We loved our time there!
Really enjoyed staying there. It was so peaceful. The house was clean and spacious. The drive to Jasper was picturesque.
Brule is a historic hamlet with 52 residences and many amenities. There's a community league area with a hall, ball diamonds, picnic areas, a hockey rink, fire pits and a play ground. It even has it own volunteer fire department! The town is located just a couple of minutes from the Athabasca River, Brule Lake and the famous Brule Sand Dunes. We are surrounded by trees and an abundance of wildlife, such as elk, deer, moose, cougars, bears, foxes, wolves, coyotes, and many other small varieties. There are extensive birds varieties too numerous to list, but who serenade us every morning in the warmer months. A little farther away, around 20 minutes, is the town of Hinton with enough shops and services to ensure that you are never without supplies. 15 minutes away are 5 lakes that offer boating, kayaking and fishing. There are several horse adventure companies also just minutes away, as well as rafting adventures. An amazing adventure also awaits you at Ogre Canyon, a 4 km hike at the base of Jasper National Park. A short drive takes you to Jasper National Park gate. The park has more things to do than can be included in this narrative, but examples include skiing at Marmot Basin, some of the best cross country skiing land in the world, Miette Hot Springs, world renowned Jasper Park Lodge golf course, Athabasca Falls and of course the town of Jasper itself. Surrounded by numerous mountain fed lakes and mountains, the town of Jasper is the jewel of the Canadian Rockies. Considerable effort has gone into ensuring that Jasper Town retains its charm, with restrictions on commercialization and overbuilding. This results in an experience that is consistent with its natural surroundings. The drive to Jasper often sees mountain goats. elk, moose, and bears like the ones on the pictures
