Comfortable conveniently located cottage

We enjoyed staying in this property for a third visit as it is a comfortable, well-equipped cottage conveniently located. The property was very comfortable with a well-equipped (recently updated) kitchen for self-catering. The property is all on one level which makes for ease of access (although there are steps to the front door). It has a small back garden (with pebbles) for al fresco dining. The garden looks onto a small wood which is home to a variety of birds. The property is a short pleasant walk from the town with all its amenities and is located in a quiet, peaceful road. Our host, Sara was helpful with advice and recommendations and, if needed, was easily contactable. We had a lovely time. Thank you Sara.

An excellent host

It is a cosy warm comfortable bungalow. Excellent bed very comfy. Within easy reach of Saundersfoot. The owner Sara goes out of her way to give you anything you need. We will stay again in the future.

Well-equipped, comfortable cottage in a great location

Edith Cottage is situated in a quiet residential street with ample parking for 2-3 cars. The woodland backdrop to the back garden allowed us to bird watch most mornings and bat watch at dusk! Sara, our host, provided helpful directions to the cottage and left some welcome biscuits and milk for our arrival. Accessing the property was very easy. We were made to feel welcome and that we could call on Sara if we needed help - which fortunately we did not need to do but it was nice to know we could. The cottage has a folder with lots of useful information for the holidaymaker about the cottage and the surrounding area. The cottage is ideally located with a short pleasant walk to the centre of Saundersfoot with its cafes, pubs, restaurants & small shops. There is a lot to do in this area and everything is only a short drive away. The highlights of our week were a meal at Lokky's pan-Asian restaurant and a walk from Stackpole Quay taking in Bosherston lily ponds (an absolute must). Aside from that we visited Tenby, Carew Castle & Tidal Mill, Picton Castle & Gardens, Upton Castle & Gardens, Lamphey Bishop's Palace, Colby Woodland Garden and did some long walks on the Angle Peninsula and Lawrenny Quay - all of which are within a 30 minute drive from the cottage. All of these days out were added to by returning to Edith Cottage with its comfortable clean rooms and extremely well-equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would love to come back again. Thank you.

A beautiful cottage for our family holiday

We had the best time at Edith cottage, the property was perfect for our family. We were super impressed with the facilities and cleanliness of the cottage, it had everything we needed for our little one, including high chair and toddler utensils and plates ect. We will Most definitely be booking to stay again. Perfect location, amazing place to stay and very friendly and helpful hosts, Sara was on the other end of the phone/txt if we needed anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay and holiday

Peace and Tranquility

We were very pleased with Edith Cottage. Located a short (and very pleasant) walk from the town, the accommodation had everything we could ask for - even down to al fresco dining area when the weather permitted! We were particularly grateful to Sara for being so flexible with our booking when unforeseen circumstances necessitated a last minute change of dates. Saundersfoot is a lovely coastal town with many places to eat and drink (We particularly enjoyed a meal at The Mulberry) as well as coastal walks to Wisemans Bridge and beyond. We had gone for a peaceful break but could see the attraction for families with children who may take advantage of boat and fishing trips or a visit to nearby Tenby. All in all, the natural beauty of the area and the comfortably furnished accommodation ensured our holiday needs were met in full. We can recommend Edith Cottage as a perfect holiday home from home.

Lovely bungalow in a lovely location ...

The bungalow was very clean and well equipped and the location was very nice, in a quiet street outside the main town centre. You can easily walk into town in 15 minutes max. Some nice pubs and restaurants down by the coast in Saundersfoot. Sara the only was very helpful and responsive to questions. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are back in Pembrokeshire again.

Our stay was amazing. Would definitely book to stay again. Walking distance to the beach. However, people with walking difficulties would find it hard. Car was essential.

The nicest property let in Saundersfoot

Fantastic host. Fantastic property. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying again. The beach and shops are just a few minutes walk via a path at the end of the street. The properties appearance inside and out is superb. The little touches inside and the fast response time from the host made the holiday for us. Once again we loved our holiday and we will see you again Edith Cottage 😁

Lovely Cottage

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. A short walk into Saundersfoot and a short drive to Tenby. Sara was lovely and very helpful, allowing us to arrive a day early at short notice.

Home from home (our stay May 2018)

We are a family of four and had a fantastic stay at Edith Cottage. It was decorated to a very high standard and beautifully clean. Sara had kindly left out biscuits and all we needed to make a hot drink after our long journey, which was very thoughtful. The location was excellent and our first afternoon was spent on the beach, which was within easy walking distance. The location was great for other attractions too, such as Pembroke castle. Sara also left out lots of helpful leaflets about where to eat and what to do during our holiday. Overall we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you x

Superb location ,excellent host

From my initial enquiry Sara was amazing . We have rented loads of holiday rentals world wide and communication in this instance was possibly the best . Great location in a very quiet residential road and driveway parking . Huge kitchen, intact the photos don't do the property justice.its very clean and wi fi is great . It is literally 8 mins walk to saundersfoot beach and harbour along a short track . Easy to drive to local beaches and attractions . We recommend Barafundle Bay , manorbier and Caldy . Narbeth is a quant little town with independent shops .the Mulberry restaurant is excellent, If we return to Pembrokeshire we would certainly stay at Edith Cottage .

Edith Cottage review

We had a short stay in Edith Cottage in April 2017. The cottage was perfect, with good size rooms, all necessary amenities and very clean. It had a small private garden at the rear and is located in a quiet street. As we only had a few days we didn't try the walk into town, parking is easy at the seafront. Saundersfoot is a nice seaside town with many shops and restaurants. It is also nicely central for other areas of interest including the Tenby, Stackpole, Barafundle and numerous scenic walks in the countryside or at the coast. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
