Ein sehr schönes Haus in Agaete

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub mit unseren Kindern (7 und 10) in dem schönen Haus in Agaete verbracht. Die Betten waren bequem und wir konnten viel Zeit in dem wunderbaren Garten verbringen. Das Haus hat allen notwendigen Komfort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zufuss problemlos erreichbar. Wir haben vom Vermieter gute Tipps zu Restaurants, Cafes und Ausflugszielen bekommen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter funktionierte problemlos per WhatsApp in englisch. Das Ein- und Ausparken auf dem Hof mit einem größeren Auto kann sehr stressig werden. Wir haben nach kurzer Zeit unseren Mietwagen auf einen öffentlichen Parkplatz in Agaete abgestellt, wodurch wir den Garten noch besser genießen konnten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

I wish we could have stayed longer

In the heart of Agaete, this house is typically Spanish in both style and furnishing. The bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage space, the second bedroom however doesn't have any natural light...not that it mattered to us. As digital nomads, my wife and I stayed for a month and loved it, naturally settling into a routine of working until mid afternoon and then walking down to the salt pools to for a swim. We also had extended family stay with us on two occasions without a problem. The outside space is super, a power point at the garden table kept my laptop powered up during the day and provided a wonderful dining area in the evening. The kitchen has all the essentials including a kettle which is sometimes a rarity, there is a microwave but note that there is no oven. The undercover garden area houses the washing machine so clothes can be washed in the afternoon and dried overnight. The restaurants of Puerto de las Nieves are in walking distance (25mins) and while some are a bit touristy, we found a couple that did some good stuff. That said, the 50 minute walk up the road to Casa Romantica to sample the tasting menu is a great way to spend the afternoon. Lastly, we used the bikes on a number of occasions, they're well maintained, helmets and locks are supplied and there's a tyre pump on hand too. In summary, if you want tranquility with easy access to supermarket, restaurants, swimming etc. then Casa Carmela is a great place to stay and it lived up to our expectations.

Short stay in casa Carmela

We loved Agaete - definitely get out into the surrounding hills for some hiking, the views are jaw dropping ! Harbour is great for lunch & a dip & the natural pools are lovely. We visited in December, perfect temperature for us. The apartment is well appointed, quietly located & the owners were friendly and helpful. Loved it

Gute Lage für unsere Aktivitäten

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anregungen für Wanderungen, Ausflüge und Restaurants haben wir gerne wahrgenommen. Das Haus liegt am Ortsrand und hat eine ruhige Lage. Mit unserem Mietwagen (Opel Mokka) konnten wir problemlos in der Einfahrt parken. In den 170 qm ist der kleine Garten, die Sitzecke draußen und die Dachterrasse inkludiert. Im Haus selber haben wir uns mit 2 Personen wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir benötigt haben. Besonders gut hat uns die Nutzung der Fahrräder gefallen. Mit denen wir gerne zu den Meeresschwimmbecken am Hafen und dem sehr genialen Bäcker in Agaete gefahren sind. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen.

sehr authentische Unterkunft

ausgezeichneter, sehr freundlicher Kontakt zu den Vermietern, einfache, aber praktikable Einrichtung im Haus , nettes Plätzchen im kleinen Garten , Parkplatz nicht für größere Autos geeignet (VW Polo passte gut rein)

Schönes, ruhiges Ferienhaus

wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt im März 2020 sehr zufrieden. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Teil von Agaete und wenn man will hat man schnell Kontakt mit den Nachbarn. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und die Dachterrasse bieten Ruhe und viel Sonne. Das Meer und die Meerwasserbecken sind mit dem Auto keine 5 min entfernt. Oder man macht einen Spaziergang durch den Baranc bis zum Meer ( 15-20 min ). Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Leider gab es zum Ende des Urlaubs noch das Corona Virus mit eine Ausgangsbeschränkung. Clean, comfortable and convenient

The house is lovely, the garden beautiful. Sat out nearly every afternoon with a glass (or more) of wine. Very handy for the local eateries, just ten minutes walk. And thankfully away from the 'touristy' port area. Recommend the walk up the barranco to the wine and coffee plantation (walk, so you can try the wine!)
