5 stars!

The unit is comfortable and spacious. The furniture is high-quality. The mattress in the master bedroom is plush, and the bedding is luxurious. The view of the bay is beautiful. The owners provide lots of little extras, such as family board games, beach toys, beach chairs and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to make your own seafood dinner. We enjoyed our week and will definitely rent from these owners again.

Great experience.! Bed was super comfy! Went snapper fishing 1 st week of June weather was Awsome beaches were not crowded at all . Beaches were not commercialized like most are now days. Reminded me of when I spent vacations at gulf shores with my grandparents as a child.

Me, my wife and my daughter really enjoyed our stay here, it's definitely family friendly. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Also did some fishing from the dock while we were down there, we saw some dolphins. Inside of the condo is very nice and decorated very nicely, my wife couldn't get over how much she liked the decorations. Plenty of room in there also (you don't feel like you're on top of each other) the condo was very clean, and had all the kitchen utensils needed. We can't wait to go back! I will highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay and also recommend eating at the 'Sassy Bass' located right up the street from Navy Cove.

Clean & tastefully decorated condo with easy access to the beach & beautiful bay side views

  • 5 of 5

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in this condo. We'd feel that we were at "home". Navy Cove is an awesome location - it was very peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable stay. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated, the kitchen was well-stocked with quality utensils and accessories, the beds and pillows were very comfortable - we could not think of anything to make our trip more enjoyable. We're already planning our next trip!!!

Excellent condo!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Navy Cove once again! This condo suited our family of 5 perfectly and no one had to sleep on a sofa! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever used in a condo. Usually they have the cheapest stuff but that was not the case here. We love to cook at the beach and it was perfect. My boys love to fish off of the docks when not at the beach. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend this unit.

Perfect location for family fun!

  • 5 of 5

This unit is beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. My wife and I stayed here for three nights with our adult daughter and three year old grandson.

Everything was perfect. We really liked the view of the marina. We took daily early morning walks to the narrow bay side beach that immediately adjoins the property. While this beach is not really suited for swimming, there is lots of nature to see. The land eventually gives way to a marsh. We spotted several huge blue herons and countless pelicans here. We also had fun watching all land crabs and hermit crabs scurrying about.

Our grandson was fascinated by the big boats in the marina and by the folks crabbing off the docks almost every morning. The pelicans that flew around in formation every day were a hit too.

The gulf beach is across the street, and a bit of a walk. But unlike Gulf Shores, it was no problem to drive over here with our beach gear, and park on the street. What we liked most about Fort Morgan was the lack of high rises and the overall family friendly atmosphere. While we have always enjoyed Gulf Shores, I think we are now Fort Morgan converts. It reminded us of Gulf Shores twenty years ago.

The unit itself was perfect for our family. My wife and I had a full private bath in the master, and our daughter and her son claimed the bath located in the common area. The kitchen was very functional, and we ate every meal in. We fried shrimp, baked muffins, etc. Everything we needed was here, including a blender for the evening piña coladas our daughter made. Having a washer and dryer was a huge help.

The pool is on the smallish side, but was not heavily used. So it was just fine. The three year old spent every moment he could here! It was a win for us. At first we worried about bothering our neighbors. An excited small child can make some noise. But the windows and balcony doors are double paned, so there was very little sound from the pool area right below our window.

Mark was a very amicable host. His directions were spot on, and he was very easy to work with. The rental agreement was simple and easy to understand. Everything was clearly spelled out.

We are VRBO owners ourselves. So we are really paying attention to the details when we stay in someone else's unit. I give the unit Five Stars for decor, location, cleanliness, maintenance, and ownership.

We will definitely return here. Hopefully for more than three nights!
