  • We will be back !!!

"We just stayed in this condo last week. It was amazing. The pictures are exactly what you see. The location was perfect. We had originally planned to stay in Myrtle Beach but Hurricane Matthew had other plans so last minute we found this place and Lynn was great to work with. At first this place was booked so she passed my info to some others and they contacted me that day. Then later that evening Lynn called me back that night to tell me hers opened last minute and luckily I hadn't paid anyone else yet! It was perfect! We arrived a little earlier than check in so we changed at the pool restrooms and hit the beach for a few hours. She did accommodate us with an early check in which was great after an 11 hour drive but we arrived at 10 am and the room was ready by noon. I was so pleased with us only having to walk passed the pool to get to the bridge to walk down to the beach. It was beautiful and we had amazing weather the entire time. The beach was so clean and not crowded at all it was like our own little private spot. There were chairs and beach toys in the condo that we used the 2nd and 3rd day. That was a huge help so we didn't have to buy anything. We had everything we needed to cook meals (minus condiments/spices) . After we checked in we drove to Walmart and grabbed some groceries for the few days we were staying and a cooler to take to the beach. Try to get everything in one stop because its about a 15 min drive in to the store. The dollar store is about 10 min away and had quite a bit too. We had asked the kids if they wanted to drive one day to Orange Beach or Destin or somewhere else and they said no we love it here and want to be here everyday so of course we were fine with that !! We had our 15 year old daughter, 8 year old son and 10 month old daughter so it was very convenient to be on the beach if we needed to take her back to the room. The kids had their own room and we had ours set up with a pack and play that we brought for the baby . I did bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags from previous experience staying at a condo. If you plan to do a lot of cooking , plan to make things that don't require alot of ingredients. I purchased a cheap bottle of syrup bc we had french toast one morning and cinnamon powder. (I left them for the next person lol) . We did a potroast in the crockpot one day while we were at the beach all day it was perfect to come home and dinner was ready . The trip was great and we will be back !!!"

  • Great Experience

"We were so pleased with our stay in The Dunes #500. When our planned trip to HHI was cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew, we began looking for other options. The owner was so easy to work with, quick to respond and to accommodate our last minute trip. We loved the secluded location and easy walk to the beach- even with four children. The condo was clean, well-furnished, and had comfortable beds. About the only thing we needed that we didn't have were hangers and we bought (and left for the next vacationer) some while there. The owner also suggested we bring some extra dish towels which we did and left those as well. We ate at Bahama Bobs and King Neptune's and both were very good. Since the unit is quite a distance from the main road (about 25 minutes one way), it would be our suggestion to plan out meals for the week so grocery shopping isn't an everyday thing. The Target and Publix on the main highway have anything you could want, though. One thing we most enjoyed each morning was sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise over the ocean. We were there at the time of the Shrimp Festival and that was a nice experience as well. We will definitely return to Fort Morgan and would love to ride the ferry to Dauphin Island and visit the historic fort area on our next trip."

  • Great Fall Break Retreat

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Beach Cottage 20 was a pleasure to stay in. The cottage felt like a home away from home. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and dinnerware. The home was very clean when we checked in. We will definitely try to return with the kids on their next Fall Break. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars across the board is because we had an Internet issue midway through our stay that could not be resolved (an ISP issue); I needed internet access for work. That was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect vacation."

  • We have stayed here for several years. It is always clean and well managed.

"We highly recommend this beach rental for families who want a quiet and relaxing vacation. The property is well maintained and has nice amenities. It is close enough to the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores, yet it is far enough away that you don't feel as though you need a vacation from your vacation."
