In Cancale, nestled in the hollow of a very quiet hamlet 200 meters from the customs path, this adorable country house has been specially renovated in a sea spirit - happily mixing old antiques, exposed stone walls and modern facilities for an authentic and comfortable stay.
Destined to become for each of you THE holiday home, it awaits hikers, families or laughing friends and lovers of maritime atmospheres to make them enjoy the happiness of living in peace while at the seaside, quite simply .
From the house, everything is done on foot or by bike: hiking, beach, fishing, market and town center for your enjoyment.

Able to accommodate 6 people, "Petite île" offers a spacious living room on the ground floor serving as a dining area and lounge around an old Scandinavian stove always ready to warm up cool evenings, the fully equipped independent kitchen allows you to cook good local products and enjoy them together around the round table of the living room or on the terrace when the sun allows it. Finally, the separate toilet in the bathroom completes the equipment on the garden level. The staircase gives access to the mezzanine above the living room to two intimate bedrooms, one of which has a large balcony overlooking nature to the south.
Take a bracing holiday in Brittany, walking on the seaside paths, gourmet dinners, fishing on foot during high tides, the sunsets over Mont St-Michel or the ramparts of Saint-Malo!
For a minimum of 2 nights, a long weekend or a longer stay, come and enjoy nature and the seaside all year round. Well behaved pets are welcome in this house at no extra charge. Non-smoking gîte.
At the top of the garden, a parking area for a vehicle is reserved for you.
Cot, high chair and BB bathtub provided on request (subject to availability).
Optional: 100% cotton household linen, end of stay cleaning, wood for the stove in winter.

Perfect stay in Cancale

The house in Cancale is lovely. It is well located close to the town and the sea. The welcome was very warm and friendly. We can only recommend this little cottage.

My stay in Cancale in this cottage was perfect for my needs. It was secure, comfortable, stylish and easy to live in. It had everything I needed for my month long stay while researching my book. Just a short walk to the quaint village of Cancale and only 200 yards from the beach ensured a couple of delightful walks. Dominique was considerate and professional and I can not fault either the service or product I received. I strongly recommend this little house to anyone wanting a delightful holiday experience, Thank you, Dominique and Luc for being such considerate, supportive and professional hosts.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans la "Petite Ile" et nous avons beaucoup apprécié celle-ci.L'accueil très chaleureux de Dominique, les petites attentions qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée et toutes les informations nécessaires pour passer un agréable moment dans leur location.Très bien située.Le bourg a quelques mètres avec toutes les boutiques nécessaires, le GR34, sentier des douaniers, également proche pour faire des randonnées pédestres avec des vues magnifiques.Saint Malo, très belle ville située à quelques kms.

Sehr schönes, authentisches Häuschen in ruhiger und idyllischer Lage von Cancale. Zum Blick aufs Meer nur ein kurzer Marsch von 200m, ca. 10 min. zu Fuß in den Ort selbst und 15 min. an den Hafen, um frische Austern zu genießen.

Kleines wunderschönes Fischerhäuschen mit allem Komfort!

Das Fischerhäuschen liegt am Ende einer kleinen Straße. Keine 200 m vom Küstenwanderweg entfernt. Von dort aus hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Mont-Saint-Michel. Die Farben des Meeres sind einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Während mein Mann täglich auf diesem Weg gejoggt ist, habe ich es genossen, lange Strecken mit unserem Hund zu laufen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Neben der schönen lauschigen Terasse und gibt es noch einen kleinen Balkon im Obergeschoß auf dem ich besonders in den lauen Nächten gerne gesessen habe. Ein wirklich erholsamer Urlaub in einem schönen Ambiente.

Leider auf dem Fernseher nur französische Programme . Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Zum Meer ( Steilküste 5 Minuten Fussweg, zur Badebucht 15 Minuten) Grosser Supermarkt mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Zum Zentrum ca. 2 Kilometer.

Fixed at St Malo for 30 years, our family lives at the rythm of the sea all year long: strolls, sailing cruise, birds watching, fishing from the shore, ... for our biggest happiness. We completly felt in love with the house and the surroundings, we renovated it and wish from now on to share our passions and to make discover our beautiful country and its secrets to all our visitors.

What makes this property unique

Because the local gastronomy also means a lot to us, the kitchen is functional and equipped well (cooktop, ovens, internal barbecue). The stay is spacious, the sofa-bed offers a wide sleeping around (2 mattresses of 80x200), the old wood stove will fill your cool evenings (the house is warmed besides naturally). One of the 2 rooms gives onto a balcony which overhangs the terrace of 35m2 facing south. The garden will shelter your outdoor meals (outside barbecue) and your car.
In front of the house crosses a hiking trail, which is very quiet: there are more walkers than vehicles to be crossed in the little street!
The sea is in 200m (GR34), the center-village in 1km, everything can be made by foot.
