Bocas Del Mar stay

Bocas Del Mar was a very nice place to stay, with many amenities to choose from while staying there. The staff was ever so helpful on anything that you needed, and made my time there very enjoyable. Views there were spectacular also, especially from the room that I stayed. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful spot, relaxing stay

The views can’t be beat! We enjoyed having space and a kitchen at our disposal while also having access to the hotel amenities (pool, restaurant, massage, kayaks). The entire staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Water taxis are available for hire to go to beaches. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Incredible

What an amazing place! We stayed in a villa and it was nicely arranged and equipped with all we needed. And the view!!! Did I mention the view?! What a peaceful place just what we needed to decompress from the world. The service staff were highly professional and kind. Thank you!!

Best view in the world.

Great property with outstanding view. Hard to find reason to leave and explore the rest of Boca Chica. Kitchen plateware was a little lacking but manageable clients need to be aware there is a king bed and a single bed. Some beautiful tropical plants have grown up and are partially blocking the beautiful view Hard call.

Amazing views

The Villas are very nice have ample room and great to have a kitchen so you do not have to eat out every meal. With that being said the kitchens is supplied with the bare minimum of items. The knives are extremely dull and there are no storage containers. This is our second time at the unit, the short comings of the kitchen are more of an inconvenience, and would come and stay again.

Amazing views

The views were amazing. The location of the property is perfect. The host did not communicate well from the time I booked to even my arrival date. The Boca Del Mar staff was great and they were the ones that assisted me with check in. The condo literally has the bare bone basics. There was not any dish soap, and there was not even any counter top cleaner. We left our cooking oil and seasonings and some ziplock bags for the next guests, but we felt certain they would be removed by either the housekeeper or the host. It seems very odd that a place that is so isolated would not even have some basic items. I have been a host for 7 years and provide basic items that a guest should not be required to supply such as dish soap and counter top cleaners, salt and pepper etc.

Beautiful Accommodations

This is nice place to get away and enjoy nature. The facility was superb. It was like being in nature with all the amenities. The road to get here was a little rough but I think it is worth it.

Relaxation at its best!

We greatly enjoyed our stay on the property but a few tips would make it even better! 1. There are no shopping options for food within 45 minutes. Stock up in David or west of Panama City. The place has NOTHING in the kitchen. So include salt, coffee filters, etc. in your purchases. 2. Breakfast is NOT included in this rental which was misleading. Breakfast on site is $60 for very limited options! Meal options on the property and within 5 minutes are lovely but would not suggest breakfast. Bring binoculars as the birding was great! The staff at the hotel are wonderful! Very clean, very quiet, we very much enjoyed our stay.

For the benefit of future guests, some extra comments which we hope are helpful are: 1. We have always stated in our property description on the VRBO/Home&Away site that meals on those tariffs are not included. 2. All meals (breakfast, lunch dinner) are available optionally in the nearby hotel restaurant, or simpler places in the village (by water taxi or 5 minutes by car). The hotel breakfast is currently $15 for an a la carte selection including hot dish, cold dish options, fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee, jellies, bread, toast etc. 3. We do include garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets and clean dish sponge as standard as well as coffee filters - and we apologize if we missed adding the filters on this occasion. In keeping with recommended best practice in vacation rentals at the moment, for hygiene reasons we don't keep foodstuffs including condiments. 4. We have added a note to the website description to say that the biggest, recommended supermarkets for fresh and dairy are in David at 45 minutes - thanks for feeding that back. However we would stress that there is a simple store for primary, top-up supplies in our village and a larger variety/mart type store 20 minutes away. 5. We are glad to answer any further questions ahead of arrival and during the stay, with our guest relations team on hand every day.

Great option instead of hotel room

This unit is great if you want to have your own kitchenette and do some light cooking without eating out all the time. The property is well kept, great views, staff is very friendly. The kitchen could use a few more utensils and bowls etc. as they only provide the bare essentials. I highly recommend Bocas Del Mar and look forward to returning.

Boca Chica

Except for rough road getting there it was very nice. Kitchens could use ovens and we never did find laundry. Location, pools, tennis courts, basketball, primo. Could use towel exchange service daily.

Simply amazing!

This is our first trip to Panama! We traveled from Tocumen airport to Boca Chica. The surroundings here at Boca del Mar are green and lush! The water views are breathtaking. Our villa was exactly what we saw online. It was perfect for my husband, 19 year old son and I. We drove to David for groceries and visited Boquete and the mountains. Great experience! Will definitely return!

Tranquil Cabana with breath taking views

This remote boutique resort and property is nestled in the jungle and offers ever changing views of the Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park. During our morning coffee on private patio and yard there was a flurry of a tropical bird activity, often we heard Howler Monkeys in the distance. The cabana was decadent and afforded all amenities. All the staff was friendly and helpful, we especially enjoyed the water activities.

PERFECT PARADISE!!

My husband and l loved our stay at Bocas Del Mar. We occupied one of the units on the hill and were thrilled with the view! The staff members were attentive, kind and thoughtful. The unit was clean and well equipped with what one would want in a rental. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We ate almost every meal in the open air dining room and were happy with the amount of food and choices available. All that we ate was very good. During our visit we took a few of the available excursions and were not disappointed! We highly recommend Bocas Del Mar for your destination in Boca Chica as well as in Panama!

Paradise

Boca Del Mar is gorgeous , our vacation home had everything we needed with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islands. Most important is the wonderful people that run the property, Marcus and Peter were so helpful throughout our stay. Marcus went above and beyond trying to help us with lost luggage along with Odessa and Cheryl. The property truly is a piece of paradise, I enjoyed a massage by the ocean and we took several trips to the surrounding islands , everything was easy to arrange. We enjoyed dinner each night in the restaurant overlooking the gulf, the food and service is outstanding. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay and the great hospitality that is offered at Boca Del Mar. Michael and I loved our trip to the wonderful Boca Chica piece of Paradise that the property is. Thank you !!

A luxury home from home

It was so nice to be back at Bocas del Mar again. This was our second stay in the villas and the place just keeps getting better. Well-equipped kitchen, clean and still that awesome view to die for. We were looking for a possible retirement in this area and it was the perfect place to come back to at night- we only wish we could buy this place ha ha. Thanks again to the awesome staff.

Awesome rental property and so relaxing

We stayed for a week in these modern accommodations up a short driveway from a nearby hotel. The property has great views across the bay and lots of equipment. It is near the village with a car or water taxi. This was the ideal combination as we could prepare meals but we also went to the hotel and to other nearby places to eat when we wanted. The area is very natural and unspolit. It is for outdoor lovers - just to breathe that warm tropical air every day was magic and hear the birds and monkeys in the distance. Recommended. All arrangements with the property owners went very smoothly and everyone is very kind and helpful.
