Spacious 8 bedroom cabin on a private mountain in Mount Airy, NC. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Gather the entire group and enjoy mountain views for miles out. This cabin has private and shared spaces, a game room, a movie room, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor living area, large dining space, and many more great amenities to make your getaway a memorable one!

This large but cozy cabin has miles of Mountain Views, 8 bedrooms, spacious common areas, and entertaining amenities. Its expansive outdoor deck is a dream for outdoor living on the mountaintop. Sitting on prime and exclusive real estate, the massive lodge is a place you want to call home even if it’s just for a few days! Sleeps 22

You’ll have a very spacious cabin with an extended deck and many amenities

Prior to check-in, guests must communicate with our team by filling out our guest information form which provides their entire guest list along with a valid government ID for the primary guest on the reservation and a signed rental agreement. Upon receiving the required documents, guests will receive the access information to the property at the time of check-in. Our team can be reached via phone, email, or app during the stay for any questions.

This private mountain estate is located on a gated community with mountaintop access. We are located in Surry County / Yadkin Valley

Car required

$500 security deposit will be collected if any damage is done to the property or if any house rules or policies are broken during the stay including unaccounted guests or pets.
We are a privately gated community in the middle of Wine Country that inspires enjoyment and pleasure with the amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests providing access to the mountain to anyone outside of the included guest count is not allowed. Maximum of 22 guests.
Pets require a fee for the duration of the stay. Events must be pre-approved by host and may require additional fees.

Great stay at an alternative cabin on the same road bc this cabin had something broken on the hot tub during the dates we were staying. Cabin was switched the day of check in a few hours beforehand with no issues and we were switched to a cabin similar to this one that accommodated all of us with a working hot tub. Had a great time!

Great place for family reunion!

This was a gorgeous property set on the side of the hill with magnificent views out the front as well as the back. Kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed our meals at the beautiful huge dining table, Our group was 17 and there were plenty of sleeping accommodations. Would definitely recommend for family reunions, or other large groups.

Great start to our summer vacation!

We had a great time ! The cabin was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay there. We are looking to go back again this fall. It was a simple and quick getaway with our kids as we are starting our summer vacation and we found so many things to do, we would have loved to stay a bit longer. Really enjoyed it. Family Mountain Thanksgiving

We had 20 people(+2 babies)in my family and they came Carolinas, New York State, and Michigan. The house was very clean, had a 20 person dining table, and had lots of cooking equipment and view was nice incredible! Very expensive but good value.

Great House!

Owner is very friendly, very quick with communication and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. Hosted a small business retreat for 6 people and everyone loved it. Great set up for brining provisions for cooking and eating in the lodge, wonderful open floor plan on main level with large table. Everything was in good condition, from the kitchen/grilling to the TVs, linens, etc. The views and the clean air will have you eager to book your return trip.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Very spacious yet cozy at the same time. We celebrated a birthday and had 7 couples staying. Each had their own room which was great for privacy. The only complaints we had were the matresses were hard in some of the rooms and the hot tub was not working while we were there. The owners were very willing to work with us and were attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this home for large groups. Plenty of outdoor seating as well!

Wedding at Serre Vineyards

The home is beautiful. The views the sunrise and sunset. The only problem was infestation of stink bugs. Outside and inside. It still was ok just a little creepy since I’m not a bug person. I would still stay there again my family had a great time and close to a lot of different things.

Thank you for your great review ! Yes, that is an amazing cabin with beautiful views. Actually, one of our largest cabins. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Those little creepers known as stink bugs do fly around during this time of year. It is one of those things that is hard to do away with. The cabins do get fumigated and you will not find ants or roaches or other insects inside the property. But these fly around and with a large group such as yours, the doors are frequently opened and they fly in. The property never has any insects inside when cleaned by the maintenance team. It is something we pride ourselves in making sure the cabins are impecable. And for this reason, we hold a Super Host / 5 Star Rating. We would not want to have such amazing cabins and not attend to them properly. Therefore, we welcome you back anytime to experience another great stay in the winter or spring for a whole different experience. Thanks again for staying with us. Wonderful Retreat

This is the second time staying at this cabin. Both times we took the leaders from our Christian ministry here to get away from the business of life to get some extended time with God. It was magnificent. Every left the weekend rested and refreshed. The cabin is amazing. The views are incredible. Perfect for a family reunion or gathering of several families / friends. We recommend hiking Stone Mountain about 30 minutes away. Take a picnic lunch to eat at the top.

Lovely home with wonderful view

We really enjoyed staying here. The home was very nice and I really liked the layout. It worked well for our large annual family gathering. All the decking and covered porches was nice and helped with the 2 rainy, foggy days. The view was awesome, especially the back, but the front was pretty also. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and games. We visited Mt. Airy and did some hiking in Stone Mountain State Park. Natalie was very helpful to us also. Thank you, Natalie.

Breathtaking Mountain Views!!

We had the most amazing time in this gorgeous, spacious cabin!! We didn't want to go home!!! Everything was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more!! Thanks for recommending the Shelton Vineyard! We had a full afternoon of wine tasting.. My favorite!! We will definitely be in touch soon, the family is already asking if we could spend Christmas in the Cabin in the mountains!!! Fantastic stay in a magical place

From a 1 year old to an 80 year old we had a wonderful time enjoying the mountain views and amenities of this house. There was solitude and beauty all around us. The back porch was a great place to sit and watch the sun rise each morning. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our needs. We were able to go on short exursions each day. Some of our group went hiking to Stone Mountain as others went to Mt. Airy. Scoops Ice Cream was a real hit. The area is beautiful and we would come again.

The cabin with the view is amazing! The large size is perfect for hosting large family events. Loved being able to sit at the dining room table together and enjoy one another.Have a few suggestions/complaints. For the nightly price you pay and the cleaning fee it needs to be cleaned better. There was dishes in the dishwasher. Dust on the stove area where you’re cooking. Hand prints on all the sliding glass doors and windows. It seems that the downstairs was being remodeled or not finished in some areas and a smoke detector alarm not functioning. This would’ve been nice to know.A positive is upon checking in. The agent was very responsive and helpful as far as getting in and getting all the codes we needed. She did check on us the first day and into the next day.

We do appreciate the great review on the actual property, location and view. The cabin is always extremely well maintained and we have a 5 Star review across the board and rated a Super Host on our platforms. As you may know, your stay was right after a very strong snow storm that actually caused ice throughout the roads, mountain and its surrounding areas. Although the cabin had been left clean, the maintenance crew was not able to get to the cabin prior to your stay. This is very uncommon because they basically live there. But the ice on the road did not allow vehicles to come in. However, my advice is that upon check in, you contact us for any issues you may find and we will always be very responsive to any details that need immediate attention. Our guests and their experience is very important to us. We pride ourselves in knowing that most of our guests come back over and over again each year to enjoy this amazing mountain and make new memories. We would have taken care of the windows if you would have mentioned it upon your arrival. We surely hope you return with your wonderful family for another great experience. Natalie, the owner was nearby and responsive to our needs. The inside and outside offers many areas for family From the gas log fireplace to the rocking chairs overlooking the mountains to the hot tub and fire pit your family can enjoy a fun filled family vacation. entertainment but also separate areas for a family like us with ages 1-67. For those who also want to stay plugged in the internet works well with several devices. We loved our time in this special place for an opportunity to reconnect

Beautiful, spacious house in the mountains

We loved our stay at the Beary Cottage! The house was incredibly spacious, well equipped, and in the perfect location for a mountain getaway. During our stay, we were able to visit Mt. Airy and a local winery, all within a 30 min drive. There are also trails near the house that are great for hiking and trail running if you are okay with hills! The views were beautiful, as was the house, and we would definitely recommend at stay there to anyone going with a large group! The long dining room table and large couch in the main living room made for a great setup to spend quality time with everyone in our group. The rooms and spaces were even better than the pictures. We were overall very happy with our stay!

Mountain Weekend

The property is spectacular and is exactly as the photos show. We had a lot of items when we checked in that needed to be addressed and still no one reached back out from the team after I sent a list of items that went wrong. The major issues were addressed in a timely manner. Overall the property was amazing and very super quiet area. Location is great and the house is huge. Lots of space for everyone. Response from the manager was timely when issues occurred.

Thank you for your great review on the large property and beautiful Mountain View. We have confirmed with management, the minor issues that occurred were that the hot tub had not been filled with fresh water as it had been raining all day and it gets done same day as check in. We allowed you an early check in because of the rain and at that moment, the smoke alarms had started going off. The cleaning crew which was still there upon your arrival had informed us that as soon as it stopped raining, they would fill the hot tub. These very minor issues were tackled and resolved same day as you mentioned. We take much pride on our service and professionalism. . To clarify, as it is mentioned that you didn’t hear back from us on your review, we never heard back from you on any issues after you check in on Friday when they were all resolved. And only took several days to respond to the feedback message post check out as this goes to another team member. We are happy to have had you, your family and friends share special moments and enjoy that amazing mountain.
