Great Location

  • 4 of 5

My buddies and I stayed at the White Oak house for the recent Bass Pro Shops Bis Bass Tour Tournament. The location was great to be able to get back and forth to the weigh in site of Wildwood Park and the house was just what we needed for being able to come off the water in the evenings and relax and be ready the next morning to be back on the water before most other anglers. Christine and Drew were great to work with. If we fish the tournament again, we would certainly try booking the house again.

Enjoyed my stay

  • 4 of 5

House is nice, clean, cozy. Kitchen is awkward, but not a big deal. TV's are nice. Furniture is OK. Patios are nice, but could use some cleaning up. Pictures are deceiving as the lot is "L-shaped" and does not have great views of the lake. Neighbors are nice. Owner can be hard to work with. Overall, I am happy with my stay and would recommend this property to anyone.

Place to stay

  • 3 of 5

Nothing special, had some cockroaches, bed squeaked, was a place to hang out and lay your head down. Was generally clean.

Exactly as advertised in the pictures and narrative.

  • 4 of 5

With the exception of not being really able to sit comfortably outside late evening using the patio furniture, the experience was very enjoyable. My wife and I were able to relax and enjoy the privacy and solitude and try our hand at a little fishing (no luck). The interior of the home was really nice and well kept with all the basics. The dock location is ideal, being just far enough away to allow for a brisk walk but close enough to carry light equipment to fish with.

Enjoyed a brief but pleasant conversation with the owner and found him to be very cordial and informative. My wife also got the same impression during her communication with the co-owner.

I showed the property pics to several co-workers who loved them so we discussed a return visit later this year or early 2017.

Wonderful experience.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful place and great price. The house is good for weekend away. Owners were very responsive. I wish it had ice cube trays and a hair dryer- but not a deal breaker. I have no doubt we will be back.
