Traditional 4th of July Family Vacay

We spent our annual family vacation at the lake this year. The house was great! Right on the water with its own dock for the boat - very convenient! We had a great time and will likely be back!

Great views and quiet location

Quiet area, easy to get to. Plenty of room for boat parking. Boat dock is close to the house. The house was roomy with several different areas to watch TV, play pool or games. Would recommend.

Very comfortable place. Beds were great and furnishings were very nice. Property management was great with communications and the property is truly pet friendly to accommodate a family. Enjoyed it very much. On the lake with dock access and a great location too

Beautiful Property

Awesome Lakehouse

Property is in cove off Soap Creek. Water and location is great! House is beautiful. House was clean, organized. If anything is needed, owner is phone call away. It does have stairs to get to main level, but worth the climb for the lake view!

This was our second time staying. We love the location of the home. It is very peaceful to sit outside at night and take in the nature sounds and be able to have a water view from the inside. It was also a GREAT feeling, when the owner called to check on our well-being after a pretty tough storm. He is very easy to communicate with.

Spring Vacation

Very nice waterfront residence. While the description of the rental indicates there are three bathrooms. it would be better if all three bathrooms had showers available. The 3rd floor bathroom has only a bathtub and no curtains for privacy. The second floor screen porch might not be safe for kids @ 2 years old. There are no ballusters installed, so the only thing between a toddler and an potential 8-10 foot fall, is the installed screen.

We were out of this house for four days to attend the masters practice rounds

The layout of the house is very different. We did not use the first floor at all. The kitchen is on the second floor and the washroom and two bedrooms. The bedrooms hadn’t been dusted in a while, the nightstands and headboard, or covered with dust.. the washrooms have terrible water, pressure for showering and flushing, the toilet. The grill in the backyard was very dirty and cooking temperature would not go above 275 degrees. It’s a very quaint house.. Cleaning Service needs to do a little better job and cleaning. Only one person can shower at a time and you can’t flush the toilet.. not recommended for a large crowd

This was the perfect lake house for my family and I. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in a beautiful, comfortable, clean house with amazing views of the lake. The host was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. 100% recommend!

Perfect Get Away

This home is even more incredible than the pictures show. We cooked all of our meals at the house. The pan selection was great for the variety of meals that we cooked. There were plenty of games to choose from to keep the kids entertained. The screen porch was comfortable and a nice place to relax at sunset. The owner was helpful and very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend this property for relaxing family vacations.

Great Weekend!

We had a great weekend stay at the house. It’s a nice house, very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and such. Plenty of comfortable beds and some extra inflatable mattresses if needed. It’s right on the water with a good dock at a great spot on the lake. The owner was helpful and easily reached when needed. Would definitely go back.

Quiet peaceful retreat

This was a most peaceful, fun-filled weekend. Brandon was such a wonderful host. My only complaint is we wished we had booked for a lo fee stay. You won’t be disappointed!

I had a river home close to Nashville where I became a Superhost on Airbnb and decided to move closer to family and try it on the lake. I am from this smalltown where the LakeHouse is and originally bought it to get closer to my parents. I have a passion for the outdoors and love the water.

Why they chose this property

This property is absolutely gorgeous. The lake can be seen from all levels of the house. There are large windows on the back of the home so you can have great views at all times. There is also a dock for this house down on the lake. I fell in love with this place as a child and finally had the opportunity to purchase it recently.

What makes this property unique

Close to water. Plentiful Wildlife (Deer, fox squirrels, racoons, birds, etc.) Close to Augusta, Lincolnton, and McCormick SC.
