Rose Park House Rental Photos and Description

3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Great Fenced- In Yard.

This cozy, airy home-away-from-home in Missoula's favorite Slant Street neighborhood is ideal for experiencing western Montana. Freshly updated with beautiful hardwood floors, mosaic tiling and lots of natural light, this 1930's home combines modern comforts with original details. The double lot and sunny fenced in yard is a great spot for summer barbecues after exploring downtown Missoula or one of the many local rivers.

On the main floor, the living room, dining area and kitchen are open for maximum togetherness. The dining area features a marble-top table for six. The kitchen is a perfect spot to cook up your goods from Missoula's incredible farmers market, with a gas range, new stainless appliances, granite counter tops, a classic farm sink and gorgeous tile throughout.

Also on the main floor are a master bedroom with a queen bed and two closets, a full bathroom with a unique antique french sink, and a smaller bedroom with a twin-size day bed and twin trundle that can be converted to a king size bed, perfect for kids, guests or as a sunny work space.

Downstairs offers a guest room with a full bed and en-suite bath with a tiled walk-in shower, as well as a utility space with high-efficiency laundry units and extra storage space. (*Because this is a classic 1930's home, the basement ceiling is 6'2".)

In the backyard, a great patio offers seating for six and a gas barbecue. The expansive fenced-in lawn is an inviting space for sunbathing, getting out your lawn games or enjoying the fruit trees.

Cute house

  • 5 of 5

Three of us plus our dog stayed at this cute house for four nights. The beds are very comfy, the living/dining/kitchen combo room is nice for hanging out in. The big back yard is great for sitting outside and the dog loved having the space to roam around in. It is in a very quiet neighborhood full of cute homes. Excellent location for whatever you want to do in Missoula.

Great location, beautiful, and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We greatly enjoyed our three night stay! My husband and I stopped in Missoula as part of a Montana road trip & backpack adventure. Arriving at this adorable house and exploring Missoula was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. The home is so cute and very homey! It was very clean and well taken care of and I loved all the antique furniture and books! It is clear that the owners put a lot of love and thought into the house. The amenities met all of our travel needs.

The neighborhood is very quiet and it was very walk able! We were able to walk to the University as well as numerous restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend this property! We won't hesitate to stay here again!

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Came in with my family to visit my brother and his family who lives in Missoula. Had an amazing time! Everything was clean and spacious, we walked almost to every activity on our agenda! Kids felt comfortable knowing it was a home away from home rather than a hotel! Definitely recommend.

Perfect space close to everything including marathon

  • 5 of 5

This cute house was the perfect space for me and my family of 4. We were in town for the Missoula Marathon and the house is just a mile from bus pickup and is actually on the course itself so my family came out to cheer. The kitchen is stocked with every tool you could need including a coffee bean grinder. Home is immaculate and rooms perfect size for young kids.

Nice and basic

  • 4 of 5

This is a charming old home in an central yet residential part of Missoula. The place is quite cozy with a lovely little yard. I give it a 4/5 because a stellar vacation rental is more than just a nice home-- it's a space where a guest's needs are anticipated. We had trouble accessing the rental due to delayed instructions, had to hunt down bath and dish towels (that we eventually found still in the laundry), and had some trouble cooking with the limited supply of pans and cookware. None of these issues were terribly unpleasant, but it added some guesswork that detracted from the vacation experience. We'd still absolutely recommend the space as a functional, basic, and quaint rental.

Owner's Response: Hello, Stevie! Thank you for your note. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Missoula and at our home. I'm sorry to hear you couldn't find what you needed in our kitchen-- could you let us know what you would've liked? We keep the kitchen outfitted with a standard 10-piece set of pots & pans, various baking pans & dishes, mixing bowls, a colander, and a full run of cooking utensils. Sometimes when we have same-day check-ins, our wonderful housekeeper does leave the last load of towels in the dryer to be sure they're completely dry for new guests, and in that case, she leaves a note next to the lamp on the kitchen counter to let guests know. I'm sorry to hear you had trouble tracking them down, and that you feel it detracted from your vacation experience. We'll certainly keep this in mind & appreciate your comment. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future!

Terrific!

My husband and I stayed in this great home while helping to take care of our new grandson. I was able to ride a bike everywhere and my husband walked to the university and climbed the M every day. Great location. Cozy, clean house. Wonderful owners!
