Mira Porto House, respects a typically simple and familiar decor, with a particular focus on the city of Porto, its river and the famous Port wine. It has basic necessities and a sunny terrace, with barbecue facilities and magnificent views over the cities of Porto and Gaia.

Suited our needs!

Teresa and Paulo were wonderful hosts Always responding to emails very quickly. Almirante can to open the door for us and although she didn’t speak any English and we don’t speak any Portuguese, she made us understand everything and was fun doing so. Awesome lady!

Great location but needs some maintenance

The location was great. It was easy to get to all the sights we wanted to see. The apartment was a little musty and water was coming down onto the stove when it rained. There was also some mold in places. The noise from the restaurant below was a little bothersome until about 1am.

Nachts sehr laut

im großen und ganzen eine nette Unterkunft mit guter Lage. aber nachts ist es sehr laut und man muß eigentlich die Fenster im geschlossen haben da die Leute aus dem Restauran sich beim gehen auf der Straße sehr laut und lange unterhalten

Villa Nova

Je vais commencer par les points + - Terrasse extérieure - Grande propreté logement - Wifi + - Literie + Les points - - Stationnement à proximité non existant (plus loin un grand parking mais isolé) - Travaux de rénovation logement juste au dessus (= bruit)! - Remise des clés difficiles (personne à notre arrivée bien que prévenu en avance) - L'accès totale à la maison est conditionné par le nombre d'occupants et génère la fermeture ou pas des chambres - Détail : visionner la tv dans le couloir où elle est disposée bonjour le mal de nuque ! (Pas d'espace salon) Le point le + étonnant le fait d'avoir à payer en sus une taxe en espèce à notre arrivée. Après c'était peut-être indiqué dans l'annonce mais c'est un élément à prendre en compte pour votre résa. Sur 2 jours ça a été, mais si je devais revenir cela ne serait pas mon 1er choix (rapport qualité prix). Voilà si cela peut aider.

Agréable séjour à Porto

Nous étions deux couples avec 4 enfants (Ados), l'appartement est assez grand pour 8 (5 chambres), la partie cuisine est un peu petite pour y manger à 8, mais l'espace extérieur convient très bien, nous avons d'ailleurs pris tous nos repas sur la terrasse. La location est située dans un quartier populaire de Villa Nova de Gaia à deux pas des célèbres caves de Porto et à 800m des rives du Douro à condition d'avoir de bon mollets car les villes de Porto et de Gaia sont très escarpées. L'accueil des propriétaires à été très bon, ainsi que des voisines. Nous en garderons un excellent souvenir.

What a gem of a property. Everything was within 10 minutes walk. Beautiful views of the port wine houses. Our hosts were excellent and delivered. I would recommend it any day

Nous etions 4 amis et avons vraiment aprecier notre sejour. Distance de marche de toute les bonnes caves de Porto Proprete sans reproche et tout ce qui est necessaire a creer des souvenirs pour toujours

Beautiful charming house in the heart of cellar country

This house is perfect for small groups or a large family. Located in Villa NOva Da Gaias which is across the river in the heart of cellar country. House is within waling distance of cellars, river, and even a walk across to porto's historic city center. The most lovely aspect of this house is its location, down a winding street. Convenience stores are located close by. House is also supplied with necessitites. Host was very kind and responsive even willing to take our clothes to the laundromat. Finally the view from the balcony of the house was breathtaking.
