Located in a quiet ghost town 30 minutes north of down town Moab. Very nice, newly remodeled home. Ideal for the outdoor persons who like to bicycle for many miles and leave from the front door, perfect also if you have ATVS. There are hundreds of miles of back country ATV trails that can be accessed from the front door. We are only 3 miles from some of the areas best ancient Indian pictographs and 3 miles north of a cluster of some of the areas best dino tracks
I have traveled to all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii, The scenery in this area ranks with some of the best I have seen.
walter m Williams purchased this mobile home in 2011
In 2012 myself and 8 others left from the front door and rode ATS to Arizona, which was a 504 ride each way. Where else in the world can you do that?
In this Ghost town you are surrounded by government property and as a result a tremendous amount of freedom
We were looking to visit Moab for the first time over a 3 day weekend, and this is was perfect for our family. We arrived and settled in and went to explore the 'ghost town' with our young boys and they loved it. It was close enough to Moab and Arches that we could drive and spend a few hours, then come back for lunch and naps, and go back to Arches again at night. The kitchen was well stocked and was great to be able to save money by not having to eat out every meal. We were highly satisfied with our stay, would go back to visit if we ever go down to Moab again, and would definitely recommend to friends and family!
We planned a trip to Arches National Park and wanted to find a quiet unique place to stay. What a treasure! It was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was like camping in luxury! It was just what we needed.
After a full day of sight seeing it is so nice to return to the cabin to relax. The space that provides privacy and solitude is so relaxing. It's wonderful to be away from the crowds of people and not be cramped in a hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
It was such a nice place to stay. It was very clean inside and out and had everything we needed and more. Jim was very helpful with anything we needed. If I'm ever back in the area, we will definitely stay here again.
Jim and Sandi are wonderful hosts. When we arrived they informed us that due to circumstance they had to move us to another property. It was an upgrade to a beautiful 3 bedroom home that included everything one could possibly need for their stay. Overall, it was a great experience and the location was great, especially if your plan is to see Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We will definitely book with them again when we return to the area !!
Very nice accommodations! Privacy, spacious, nice furnishings, and great base for exploring Canyonlands and Arches! Would recommend the Moab Canyonlands by Day and Night Sound and Light show.
Great trails, for bicycling and ATVS. And many trails are drivable with a car. We are 10 miles north of some of the best dinosaur tracks as well as only 3 miles south of 4500 year old Indian pictographs.......Located at I 70 exit 187 we are on your way to Moab and just 33 minutes to down town
