About walter m Williams

I have traveled to all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii, The scenery in this area ranks with some of the best I have seen.

walter m Williams purchased this mobile home in 2011

Why walter m Williams chose Utah

In 2012 myself and 8 others left from the front door and rode ATS to Arizona, which was a 504 ride each way. Where else in the world can you do that?

What makes this mobile home unique

In this Ghost town you are surrounded by government property and as a result a tremendous amount of freedom

Our family of four (1 teen, 1 tween) really enjoyed our stay. The rental is a little out of town, but very much worth the drive. We stayed here for the Canyonlands Half Marathon and had no trouble getting to the starting line. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. We used the well stocked kitchen to prepare breakfasts and dinners. The property owners were friendly and informative about the area. We would love to stay here again if we make it back to Moab. We absolutely enjoyed this vacation ~ Canyonlands and Arches National Parks are a must. Highly recommend!

great place to spend some time near Moab

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was clean and well stocked. The Wifi worked great, tv reception was very good. People were extremely helpful and nice. The only negative was the trains. We spent a month and a half in the cabin and could not get used to the trains going by in the middle of the night. We loved the location, the people and the activities, but if you do not like trains going by only a block away this may not be the place for you.

Oasis in the Desert

  • 5 of 5

This little place was the perfect desert getaway. My husband, sister and I stayed in this home while my parents stayed in their RV right next to us. This was a great base camp to start and end the day in. It's conveniently located to Moab, and it's also just a short drive up the road to the lesser-known (and much less crowded) Sego Canyon. We spent a full day there exploring the ghost town, petroglyphs/pictographs, and natural beauty of the desert. Highly recommend this little place - we will be back!

Excellent place to stay and explore the wonderful area!

  • 5 of 5

The home could not have been more comfortable. It was stocked with all the odds and ends needed for a comfy stay. Access was easy and the old town of Thompson Springs was fun to explore. Everything at the home was well kept and easy to use. Bob was very nice and took care of any questions we had.

Take the time to explore Sego Canyon, the beautiful petroglyphs and art, visit Doug's Point on the cliff and the old remains of Sego.

Great place to stay. I am certain my folks and I will return, either together or separately.

I fully recommend the home to any one. -Shawn
