VRBO no longer allows us to customize our cancellation policy. They only offer default selections. Our cancellation policy is:
Full Refund For Cancellations Made More Than 30 Days Prior To Check In. Sometimes you have to cancel on short notice so if you have to cancel WITHIN 30 days of your arrival we will do our best to book a new guest for the days of your stay and return your money. So far, we have been able to refund every guest that has had to cancel.
King bed in the loft, queen bed in the master bedroom. A queen sleeper sofa with memory foam in the living room. A twin window bed in the living room is a good size for a child.
About the condo...
Some Positives: Upstairs unit, Snowberry Building in the Aspens. Best view's in the Berry Patch. Because of the occasional heat wave we have added air conditioning in the loft, a full screen door in the entryway and thermal blinds. Remodeled bathroom in 2016. New kitchen granite and appliances in 2018. Well equipped kitchen(coffee maker, coffee grinder, waffle maker, slow cooker, popcorn popper, bbq). Large sectional queen sleeper sofa. 55” TV with apple TV, internet. Relax to Fish Creek babbling. Pretty close to town, Jackson Hole Mountain resort and entrance to Grand Teton National Park. Firewood included during the cooler months, but not kindling(ample cardboard or a firestarter log usually does the trick). Individualized front door keypad code.
Some Negatives: There is no cable television. Not an end unit. 1 Fight of stairs. No trailers or RVs allowed by the HOA. If you want to use the public bus system it is about a 15 minute walk from the condo to the bus stop. We can not access Fish Creek behind the condo as it is on private land.
Parents of little ones; we know the difficulty of traveling with children so we have equipped the condo with a pack and play, high chair, booster seat and spill mat.
Damage Deposit and/or Insurance...
If you prefer to purchase the Rental Damage Insurance offered through VRBO instead of doing the $200 refundable Damage Deposit we are open to that. If you do not live in the United States we require you purchase the Rental Damage insurance.
Rental Agreement: The Rental Agreement that is available on VRBO is general in nature. We will send you a Rental Agreement specific to your stay to your personal email via Docusign.
Making It All Work: We have found that renting our condo successfully requires a lot of cooperation between us and the guest. We ask for only a $200 Refundable Damage Deposit because we have faith the guest will take care of our condo. If there is damage, stolen items or significant cleaning that needs to be done, $200 won't go far. In the summer we are booked solid, usually with guests checking out and checking in on the same day. If there is extensive damage or cleaning it will impact the next guest. So far we have had very considerate guests and have never had to withhold a guest's deposit. We greatly appreciate that.
For our part, we want you to have a good experience in JH. 1. We hope to offer a fair price. Everything in JH is expensive including mortgages and expenses(electricity is actually very reasonable). So we try to balance both our financial needs and the needs of the guest. 2. We work very hard to communicate well with every guest. 3. We want to exceed your expectations. It is better for all of us if you are pleasantly surprised rather than slightly disappointed.
We are open to receiving Bitcoin as a form of payment.
We previously did not charge taxes because we wanted the calculation of the guest's total out of pocket amount to be less complicated. However, for a couple of different reasons, we believe it is best to charge the tax as a separate line item(if you would like to know why we made the change, please ask). We have adjusted the nightly rate proportionately downward so the total expense for the guest will be approximately the same as prior to adding the taxes.
We have not listed all the activities that are available in the Jackson Hole area. If you are looking for mountain fun, good chance the Tetons have it.

Jackson = 8.5 miles/15 minutes
Jackson Hole Airport = 18 miles/30 minutes
Yellowstone National Park = 80 miles/1.5-2 hours

The Aspens is primarily a residential development. There some long and short term rentals. If you are looking to party there are better areas of Jackson Hole to do so. One of the reasons people stay in the Berry Patch of the Aspens is for the peacefulness.

About Travis Bacon
I was born and raised in Vermont and my girlfriend in Canada. We have two boys, a three year old and a newborn and now live in Florida. At heart we are mountain people. We try to spend as much wintertime in Jackson Hole as we can and rent it the rest of the year. We very much look forward to our sons discovering the magic that snowy mountains hold.

Why Travis Bacon chose Moose Wilson Road
For years we looked for the right location to get a mountain home. I explored the Tahoe area. We took a month to drive, ski and visit the resorts from Banff to Revelstoke. And we were very familiar with Salt Lake City and the surrounding resorts. I had taken several ski trips to Jackson over the years and knew it was an option for a mountain home. Several winters ago we came out and stayed in a nice VRBO unit downstairs. After visiting town, the surrounding area and the resort my girlfriend knew this was the place we should be. We went on zillow, found a unit in the building for sale upstairs and a month later we were in our new place.
What makes this Condo unique
We love all the wood trim in many of the Aspen units. We feel like we are more in a cabin than a condo. We have only stayed there in the winter and found it very quiet. The Berry Patch doesn't see much vehicle traffic and when you sit on the deck Fish Creek and the birds are about all you can hear. There is lots of wildlife in the Aspens and even more along the creek which runs behind most of the Berry Patch. What sold us though, is the view of the mountains and creek. You can see some power lines and one cabin but other than that the view is very natural and is our favorite aspect of the condo.

Teton Shangri la
After extensive research trying to find accommodations in the Jackson Hole /Grand Teton area we choose Travis Bacon and his Snowberry property in Wilson Wy.,(only minutes from Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park).And were we glad we did. The property is situated in a beautiful tree lined area at the base of the Tetons. The view is spectacular, the river runs pass the property and the view of the Tetons is uninterrupted.
The unit is bright, clean and extremely well equipped-and maintained, modern appliances, new bath/shower, wood paneled bathroom and laundry,2 wide screen TV's and huge fireplace, every thing included.our visit was in the fall, but great for all seasons, sleeps 6 easily. First class market nearby, saw Moose grazing down the road twice, just stopped and watched. Total relax.
Travis is first class, made the booking process effortless, listed things to do and places to go. I'd go back!
My wife and I spent five wonderful days here in the Teton's. We were greeted our first morning by a moose probably 10 feet from our balcony! The sound of the running stream out the back was very relaxing. Travis was an awesome host! He sent suggestions on restaurants, which were spot on! He was very thorough in explaining where to find anything we might need. There were plenty of cooking utensils as well as spices and paper products. Can't imagine there would be something you would need for your stay and it not be provided. The washer and dryer were nice; didn't have to worry about laundry to do when we got home! If you are interested in any tours, give the guys at EcoTour Adventures a call (307-690-9533). We did sunset tour of the Grand Tetons with Collin, and it was great. Also, we had our damage deposit refunded within 24 hours of leaving! Really speaks to how Travis is on top of everything! Already looking at dates for our return trip. This Is THE Place To Stay for YourJackson Hole Vacay!
Don't hesitate for a second to snap this unit up! Every amenity you can dream of, spectacular views and super convenient to Jackson Hole and The Park. We wish we had more time to spend in the unit, but we were out and about all day and night! Loved seeing 2 moose mamas and their calfs right outside our door! Travis is very helpful and accommodating, promptly answering any questions about the area. You'll love it here!
We loved it!
My husband and I along with another couple loved our stay in Travis Bacon's condo in Wilson September 19-22, 2017. Travis sent all information in a timely manner. The unit was clean and very well equipped. The view out the back was beautiful. We liked having two comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom was especially nice. We also enjoyed the smart TV and the wifi. During our 11-day Grand Teton and Yellowstone trip, the three nights here were our favorites.
The Snowberry condo was exactly what we needed for a two-day stay in the Jackson area. The unit is nicely furnished, finished with high-end materials, clean, and comfortable. While not large, the space is well-designed and was plenty fine as a home base for our party of four. One couple took the loft bed and the other stayed in the bedroom, each reporting good sleep in comfortable beds. The view off the back deck is great also.
The location is also great for those visiting the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort- it took us about 10 minutes from front door to the village, and we were able to avoid the main Jackson traffic that seems to build up during tourist seasons. It's also just a short distance from Roadhouse Brewing, which is an excellent spot to enjoy a post-adventure brew.
Travis was a great communicator and his pre-stay list of information (including recommended restaurants, markets, etc.) was very helpful. We will definitely come back and stay again on our next trip through. Thank you!
Great property and location. Everything was exactly as promised.
This is a nice condo in a great location. The views of the Tetons from the deck are spectacular including some elk we watched run across the field. We were given lots of of very helpful information prior to our arrival and everything was exactly as expected. Everything for a relaxing stay is provided. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends.
