I Vanzetti is a classical villa built in the mid 18th Century and now beautifully converted to the highest standard on workmanship and good design. Nothing has been spared in this restoration, using the finest materials: terracotta floors, chestnut beams from our local trees and beautiful tiles from the famous factories of Faenza, nearby.
The villa sits in a valley in 5 hectares of woodland, garden and fields overlooking the charming little town of Tredozio below and the endless stretch of hills beyond. There is also a deconsacreted chapel dated the same period which has been converted to a separate house. The large swimming pool is set in a spacious garden overlooking the surrounding valley. Car parking is discretely out of sight.
I Vanzetti has been converted into two separate fully equipped apartments -each over the entire floor with their own entrance- that could be used as a single house or two separate apartments.
The Ground Floor apartment has three bedrooms, one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (which can be made into double beds) and two complete bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. The large living room with an open feature fireplace opens with double doors on to the garden and a terrace with a large table and chairs for outdoor dining, covered by a very big umbrella for shade. The large fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher and washing machine, serves as a family country kitchen and also goes out to the terrace for outdoor eating.
The big swimming pool, open from May 14 to 24 September, (5 x 10 mt; depth 1,40-1,90 mt) is shared by the guests, is surrounded by pool furniture for outdoor living. In the main entrance area of the house between the two floors is a restored and working bread & pizza oven.
All the rooms are decorated with beautiful art prints and artifacts to make the house very warm and interesting.
