1.⁠ ⁠What to Bring
We recommend packing mosquito repellent and sunscreen to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

2.⁠ ⁠Getting Here
To help you arrive smoothly, we’ll send you a map and updated driving directions. The roads are regularly improved, but at this time, we recommend a 2WD vehicle with high ground clearance.

3.⁠ ⁠Kitchen Essentials
Each property is equipped with enough dishes, cutlery, and glasses for the number of guests allowed. If you're planning to cook special meals, we offer additional kitchen appliances for rent at our on-site store, Tienda Tesoro.

4.⁠ ⁠Tienda Tesoro.
Our growing store offers some snacks, canned goods, grains, drinks, etc. We do not sell veggies or meats. Please prepare accordingly.

5.⁠ ⁠Security Deposit
A $100 refundable security deposit is required upon check-in. It will be returned at check-out, as long as there are no damages and the property is left in good condition.

Two brothers with a passion for the outdoors embarked on a journey in 2004 to discover an ideal surf break on a pristine beach, aiming to build their dream surf shack and escape the cold North American January weather. After an extensive search, they found their perfect spot at a beach in Nicaragua, which they named Playa Tesoro. Over the course of 14 years, they dedicated themselves to developing the best-in-country, fully private fresh water and electrical systems, owning all the equipment themselves. With over 32 years of experience as construction business partners in Canada, their expertise and dedication have made Playa Tesoro a true testament to their craftsmanship and vision.

Playa Tesoro offers a fantastic swimming beach with warm, shallow, salty water and stretches of two miles of sandy beach all to yourself. Whether you prefer a peaceful boat tour on the estuary or relaxing in a hammock on your terrace while listening to the soothing ocean sounds, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the serene environment.

Nicaragua is a remarkable country known for its wonderful people and offers a peaceful, secure, and beautiful environment.
