The property was exactly as described and perfect for our weekend stay. The host was super personable and so kind to us. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood with businesses within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Location was peaceful but easily accessible to nearby attractions. My daughter loved feeding the turtles! The house was very clean and comfortably housed our party of six. The host was very responsive and kind and assisted me when I needed to change our arrival day.

Nice place. Twin beds need improving with new comforter sets and it would be nice to have bars to get in/out of the tub/shower or an antibacterial bathtub mat or adhesive tread or stickers.

Thank you for your suggestions. I totally agree! I don’t know why I haven‘t thought about grab bars before this. My husband has had multiple back surgeries and that would be a nice feature for anyone that has mobility or balance difficulties. I have tried serveral different bath mats and all they do is get moldy and mildew. I will have to look into an antibacterial mat. I didn’t know there was such a thing. Thanks so much! Safe travels!😊

We had such a great stay! Jeanne was a wonderful host. She was super sweet and always quick to respond. The house was in a great location in a cute neighborhood right near the golf course, and it was an easy walk to the beach. We also really enjoyed having the community pool as an added bonus. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d definitely come back!

We love having access to the beach club. Note that there is a weekly fee to park at the beach club, but it is well worth it to access the pool and the beach easily.

This was our second time staying in this community. We love the pool and beach combo. The house is is walking distance to the sound and we enjoyed the sunset. We love vacationing in Nags Head.

We as a family have been coming to the Outer Banks since we were kids ourselves. However we don’t stay in the tourist area we always go down to Hatteras, we come for the beach. This weekend was the OBX Jeep Mutiny festival and needed to stay in the area. This location had amazing reviews and took a chance. Ms. Jeanne responded quickly to the reservation, answered questions almost immediately, and had been so kind and helpful. I needed to change my stay to come a day early and she had no problem with that and was able to accommodate the change. The location was prime and everything was so close by. My daughter enjoyed the frozen bread that was in the freezer for the turtles in the pond out back. I highly recommend this home and when we come for things in town will always be requesting her home. Thank you again for the lovely stay.

The Carolina cottage is amazing! But even better was the host Jeanne! Thank you for checking in and asking us if we needed anything. Your home is beautiful, spacious and clean. It was really fun feeding the turtles on the back patio. Everything you would need in a home the Carolina cottage has. And the village beach club is very nice as well.. just keep in mind you have to pay 30 / week to pay due to it being under new ownership. When we return to the Outer Banks, I know where I’m going to return …the Carolina cottage!

A friend and I planned a girls getaway and this cottage was perfect! It was conveniently located and was spotless! We had plenty of room to spend time together and to have some quiet time in our own bedrooms. We are already planning another stay this fall and we’ll definitely book this cottage if available. Thank you Jeanne for a wonderful time in your beautiful cottage. We loved our time there!!

House was very well apportioned and was just as described. It was very clean and comfortable and very centrally located. It had all the things we needed there and the host was amazing! Always making sure we had what we needed and provided wonderful restaurant choices. Jeanne was very, very accommodating and so very nice. Would definitely stay there again!

My kids loved the turtle pond! There was a step stool, high chair, booster seat, and pack n play. It was clean and close to everything. There were sand toys to use at the beach and pancake mix in the pantry so we were able to eat before we even went to the grocery store. We really enjoyed our time at the house.
