Experience a Peaceful, Authentic Farm in Lovely Lancaster County.
The Guesthouse is part of our large farm house. It is a private area on the second floor with two bedrooms, a sitting/dining area, and bathroom. We now have a small kitchen with stove/ oven, apt. size fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. We are located in the heart of Amish country in Lancaster County away from the hustle and bustle, where you will hear the sound of horse and buggies. A one room school house is next door and full of activity during school months with the neighborhood children. The towns of Intercourse and Bird-In-Hand are only 10-15 minutes away.

About Charlotte Wenger
As Mennonites, we have lived all but two years of our married life, and raised our four children here on the farm. My father-in-law Noah Wenger purchased the farm for my husband and I before we were married. We have enjoyed the beautiful view and wonderful farm life with our children, and now our twenty grandchildren who love to come and play on the farm. My daughters and daughter in law still love to come and walk the lovely, low-traffic roads.
Charlotte Wenger purchased this Farmhouse in 1980
Why Charlotte Wenger chose West Earl
We raise chickens and steers, and overlook beautiful farmland. If you want the true experience of Amish Country, it's here! You could spend the day just sitting on the front porch overlooking the meadows, and watching the Amish and Mennonite neighbors living life, and traveling the road. If you like to walk, jog, or ride bike, you'll enjoy the back roads with very little traffic.

They made good use of 700 sq. Ft. Very nice place.
People we rented from was great Christian couple. It is up stairs so that may hinder some people. Very quiet countryside.
This is an amazing home with very hospitable hosts. My sisters and I had a wonderful time here doing research of our ancestors. Thank you for making it such a pleasant stay. Each one of us sisters are hoping someday to make it back for a visit. 😊
We loved meeting you and having you here. Would be great to have you back. Thank you !
Scenic location with great hosts
The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. The hosts were friendly, and the surrounding area was very beautiful. This is a great place to stay and convenient to Lititz in Lancaster areas.
Charlotte is an amazing host and the upstairs apartment was just what we needed. The kitchen cabinets are crafted out of antique barn wood. The beds are very comfortable and are each covered with a locally-made Amish quilt. The whole space is beautifully decorated and full of character. We felt right at home and very much enjoyed our stay!
absolutely wonderful place to stay!
This is a beautiful home that is centrally located to all the great shops. It is well maintained and very clean, warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here. This is my second stay and am not dissapointed.
Relax and renew yourself in Ephrata
My friend and I go to Lancaster every fall. This year we decided to try something different and stayed at the home of Charlotte and Elvin Wenger. We loved it. The apartment was so beautifully decorated and clean. Charlotte and Elvin were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return there someday.
Enjoy the drive through beautiful farmland! We're located off the beaten path, and only fifteen minutes from the Amish country of Intercourse and Bird-In-Hand. Take a peek in the chicken house on our farm, and maybe even pet a steer. Relish the view of cattle grazing in the meadow, and the horse and buggy traffic traveling down the road. There is a one room school house located beside our home. During school months, watch Amish and Mennonite children at play as you sit in our back yard. You'll experience the culture as you travel the neighborhood and savor the view from the front porch.
