My fascination for different cultures I am sure germinated from my wonderful childhood in Trinidad and Tobago. There I was exposed to and experienced a very cultural and cosmopolitan society growing up around people who had Chinese, Indian, Portuguese, African, and Caucasian cultures, not to mention the different nationalities. My family were from the French, Dutch and English West Indies and those who migrated added a Danish, English and American flair to the mix.
Having traveled extensively I feel that I continue on my journey of cultural enrichment of people and places.

Alamanda Sea View Apartment while self contained with its own entrance is part of a family home. The property overlooks the most spectacular view of the ocean which was our motivation for purchasing the home.

It is in a quiet neighbourhood which takes one away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas and affords guests interaction with the locals and insight into how we live.

It is very private, very relaxing and offers the tranquility one needs when on vacation but close enough to enjoy the best of what the island has to offer.

Conveniently located to launch off to most everything on the island. A few minutes walk to public transportation to Bridgetown, but with a car rental 8 - 10 minutes to most restaurants, beautiful beaches, commercial districts and duty free shopping in the Warrens and West Coast environs.

On the West Coast, liming spots, bars and tourist attractions are all a stone's throw away.

If you are up to playing dominoes with the locals at Lawrence's hang out, swimming in the glistening aquamarine sea, sipping wine while watching the sunset at dusk, cooking in the fab kitchen at Alamanda, sipping rum on a rum tour at Mount Gay, watching the chattering family of monkeys frolicking in the garden, having a romantic dinner at the Cliff or Cin Cin or partaking in some local Bajan fare at Wendy's or some golf at Sandy Lane, Alamanda Sea View Apartment is the place to stay.
