This farm has a rich history that dates back to 1808-1812 when it was first settled. The land was originally gifted to Colonel Grant by George Washington himself as a token of appreciation for his leadership during the Revolutionary War. Grant's family sold the property to the Armstrong family from South Carolina. Although it's unclear when the main house and side cabin were built, it's believed to have been sometime between 1812-1889. The Armstrongs eventually sold the property to Dr. George, a renowned livestock veterinarian in Maury County, who made the farm popular and recognizable throughout the town. Unfortunately, the farm fell into disarray after Dr. George's passing a few years ago, following a long period of illness. However, we fell in love with the farm's rich history. We saw the potential and had a vision of offering a stress-free weekend getaway to people, providing them with an opportunity to connect with each other, nature, and God.
