Una cabaña de carácter tradicional cerca de las playas, el centro de Bude y el canal.

La cabaña Brannel es una encantadora cabaña en terrazas, situada entre el canal y el río Neet, a pocos pasos del centro de la ciudad de Bude, las playas Summerleaze y Crooklets.

La cabaña combina el encanto tradicional con la comodidad del siglo XXI y cuenta con calefacción central de gas, una cocina totalmente equipada con lavavajillas y un encantador patio con jardín con barbacoa, mesa y sillas. Hay estacionamiento en la calle para 2 autos. (Esto se debe cambiar a 1 automóvil debido a restricciones del consejo en 2019: varios aparcamientos en las cercanías, el cargo de 24 horas es de £ 6.70, el cargo semanal es de £ 46.91 - 1 de abril - 31 de octubre de 2019)

Las habitaciones dobles, dobles e individuales tienen capacidad para 5 adultos cómodamente con una cuna de viaje disponible para un bebé (tenga en cuenta que la habitación individual no puede acomodar la cuna de viaje). Una sala de estar separada con sofá de esquina, sofá cama y una mesa de juegos ofrece espacio para que los niños jueguen o lean, mientras que la sala de estar principal tiene un televisor y un reproductor de DVD.

El comedor tiene una mesa y sillas para 6 personas, desde las cuales la escalera inusual se eleva en dos direcciones hacia los dormitorios y el baño de arriba. Muchos huéspedes regresan año tras año a esta cálida y acogedora cabaña.


La cabaña es engañosamente grande con un salón, comedor, cocina totalmente equipada y un segundo salón / sala de juegos con una pequeña mesa de juegos. Las escaleras inusuales se dividen en dos direcciones y conducen a 3 habitaciones: una doble (cama king size), una habitación doble y una pequeña individual. El baño tiene una ducha encima de la bañera y hay un guardarropa adicional abajo. El jardín del patio tiene una barbacoa incorporada y una mesa y sillas para 6 personas, y hay estacionamiento para 2 autos a través del carril de acceso trasero. Los dueños de mascotas pueden traer 1 perro a pedido y por una pequeña tarifa adicional: no se permiten mascotas en las habitaciones.

Bude es un complejo virgen en la costa norte de Cornualles ubicado en una zona de gran belleza natural. Las playas de Summerleaze y Crooklets son fácilmente accesibles a pie y la playa de Widmouth, popular entre los surfistas, está a solo 3 millas a lo largo de la costa. También hay una piscina natural bañada por la marea y socorristas en la playa.
Muy cerca hay pistas de tenis públicas, mini golf, biblioteca, restaurantes, pubs, un parque infantil y un centro de ocio con piscina cubierta y bolera.

Great location

The property had the ideal layout for our family holiday. Plenty of space and very clean. We loved being able to walk out of the back gate and be minutes away from the beach or town. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops within a short walk away but the cottage has everything you need to eat at home. Easy booking and check in process. Would stay again.

Excellent location and a Fantastic cottage

Excellent location 5 of stayed (2 adult's and 3 kids). We found the cottage really suited our needs. Large lounge area for the kids and cosy lounge for when you need to chill out. Walking distance to beach and town. Would recommend this cottage and will definitely consider booking again. Thank you very much.

Lovely family holiday

We had a lovely break in Bude. The house is more spacious than it looks from the outside and has everything in that you need. It is located close to all amenities, but is on a relatively busy road. It is a short walk to the beach, town and the coastal path. The sea pool was a big hit! We would stay here again.

Lovely cottage in ideal location for exploring Bude.

The cottage is great. Fantastic location, within walking distance of everything Bude has to offer - canal, beach, restaurants, coastal path etc. The cottage has everything you could need. We really enjoyed our stay. The parking at the rear accessed via the courtyard garden was a bonus. We had 3 generations in the cottage and the only downside was the very steep staircases, which our 81 year old found a little difficult. Overall we'd recommend this cottage for families or couples.

Amazing stay at wonderful cottage

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at Brannel Cottage. The cottage had everything we could ask for and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. Christine was extremely helpful before arrival and communication throughout was faultless with an extremely easy check in process. The cottage is ideally located for everything in Bude, we hardly used the car at all which was great. Loved Bude and all it had to offer from the wonderful beaches, sea pool, canal walks, interesting shops and lovely places to eat to name just a few. Hope very much to return in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Family Cottage Coastal Bude

Comfortable cottage in Bude. Central to all amenaties. Property is much more spacious than it appears. Enclosed courtyard garden with private seating. Parking at rear of property is very useful. Property is very well equipped and comfortable, traditional furnishings with modern features and appliances. It is on a busy road but this isn't noticeable once inside the property and the rear garden is quiet. Close proximity to scenic canal river and beach. Also local bars and hotel restaurant. We had a lovely time and didn't need to drive. Communication and check in were very good. Hope to return soon.

Brilliant cottage stay in central Bude

We had a fantastic week in central Bude in this lovely cottage. Modern, clean and with everything you need for a fun week on the Cornish coast. We surfed, horse-rode and lasertagged the week away - with some beautiful walks on the beach and coastal path. 100% recommend - and thank you!

On a scale of 1 -10 I would give Brannel cottage 20. Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Comfortable and in a prime position to explore Bude. Everything we wanted and more.

Great location in Bude

The cottage is surprisingly spacious and well equipped. The two living rooms mean that people can spread out and the downstairs wet room is great when returning from the beach. The upstairs layout, due to the two staircases, is rather unusual and the floors seem to be on slightly different levels. We enjoyed our week in Bude and were grateful to have a parking space and to be able to walk everyone since it was incredibly busy.

Great well equipped property in Super location

Brannel cottage is a great property with lots of space to unwind for couples and families. It is so clean and cared for. From the 2 Bathrooms & very comfortable beds it is equipped with everything you need for cooking and family entertainment, including a lovely courtyard garden with space to sit in the Sun and eat outside while making use of the BBQ. A great location next to the Canal and River for walks and attractions such as mini golf, tennis and paddleboards close by. There are several good eateries within 5 min walk and the Beach and Town also within an easy walking distance. The owners are great with communication and we would not hesitate to book this property again when we visit Bude

Perfect location

The property is perfectly located in Bude centre near the canal, beach, cafes and restaurants. Everything in Bude is walkable from the property and there is parking just behind with access through the rear gate. This is a very peaceful location too. The property itself is extremely clean and well kitted out with everything you need. The 2 downstairs lounges could also be useful although we had perfect weather so we didn’t really need them. Bude itself is also very nice with lots of market events wonderful cafes, restaurants and beautiful walks. Dog friendly too which was great.

Wonderful cottage in beautiful Bude

What a fantastic stay we have had. The cottage is lovely, surprisingly spacious and in a great location for the shops and beach. The kitchen is well equipped and the wet room so useful. The courtyard was also lovely to use of an evening. Great parking area at the back of the cottage where the car was safe. We will 100% be back.

Comfortable cottage in fantastic location.

Brannel cottage is lovely. The owners had ensured it was super clean, beds are very comfortable and the new shower is wonderful. Brannel is central to everything in Bude so we rarely used the car, overall a perfect holiday.

First Impressions count

After picking the keys up for the property we opened the front door to find the washer on with washing in the kitchen and the rear room had bags of washing in it, also the outside airer was full. We thought some one was still in the cottage. We shouted to check no one was in, and checked upstairs. The bed was not made and the bathroom had not been cleaned. there was bags of rubbish in the kitchen and also outside. The downstairs toilet window wouldn't close or lock. We have taken photos because we couldn't believe what we was seeing, not very impressive after a long journey. We contacted the caretaker twice with no response, my husband did leave her a message and she did turn up shortly afterwards. Not a very nice start to our holiday.

We were surprised and very concerned to hear that the cottage was not ready for you on arrival as our caretaker prides herself on getting the cottage spick and span ready for guests. It would appear that although we notified her of the booking and your request for linen, this was overlooked, hence the cottage was not made up and ready for you as she thought it was vacant for the week. We are really very sorry that you had such a poor welcome and hope that a goodwill gesture will go some way to saying sorry. We are pleased that you went on to enjoy your holiday and hope that you will return sometime in the future. The cloakroom window is being replaced during building works this month. Bude is a wonderful place to holiday

This is a comfortable cottage, near to lots of good places to go We recommend Temple cafe and the beaches. We swam in the sea pool and sea every day and are now friends of Bude Sea Pool

The perfect place to stay

Bude and the surrounding area offer a variety of activities to suit all needs and tastes and Brannell Cottage is the perfect place to stay. The cottage is really well equipped and scrupulously clean, allowing the visitor to simply turn up and start to enjoy the holiday instantly. With easy clean flooring and a secure enclosed garden, we were happy to take along our dog, who had a great time on the beaches and canal path, right on the doorstep. TV and internet helped use relax during bad weather and every night was a deep sleep in a really comfy bed. Communication with the owner was quick, efficient and friendly making us feel truly welcome. This was our second visit and we will definitely come again.

We bought Brannel Cottage in 1999 because of its location. We could see that it was perfectly placed in the town - close to the sea, the canal and the town centre. Since 2000 our family and many guests have enjoyed holidays in Bude staying in the cottage many returning year on year.
