About this property

Located on Private Canal 411 Lake Breeze

This camp is freshly painted with new furniture and much more. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom camp with all the amenities of home. The master bedroom has a queen bed. One guest room has 2 full beds. The remaining guest room has 2 sets of twin over full bunk beds. Each bathroom is complete with a full size shower\tub combo. The living room, master bedroom, and the bunk room have flatscreen TVs. The camp is also equipped with surround sound in the living area, as well as speakers on the outside porch and downstairs area for your entertainment. The kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator, oven, and dish washer. Our kitchen is stocked with all the essential items you may need to cook meals during your stay. The utility room is complete with a washer and dryer. The outside porch is very spacious, overlooking the canal. There is a charcoal BBQ pit for grilling. We have two covered boat slips, one reserved for our guests. Our circular driveway allows an easy entrance and exit for boat trailers. A great place to relax and make memories!!

Great House on canal - Very nice and Comfortable

Great House on canal - Very nice and Comfortable Everything was very clean and well stocked and we loved fishing and crabbing off the dock with the Grandkids. We enjoyed Barbecuing on the back porch and caught a nice black drum and several catfish and a stingray! The Neighbors came over and shared some blue crab with us. The entire stay was really fun for our family.

Adventure at its finest

We had a girls trip with they guys staying next door, our boat captains, of course. Mitch’s property was very relaxing and welcoming. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Booking for next year is a must for everyone.

Couples Fishing Trip

This is our 2nd stay at the house. It is clean, roomy and in a great location for fishing. The boat dock and outdoor areas are great. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely rent this house again when we return to Hackberry.

Hackberry for the Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at this camp! The fishing was on fire all weekend, right off of the dock in fact! The property was so clean and had everything we needed to have a great time. 5/5 would definitely book again!

Cleanest Fishing Camp Ever

We arrived after our long drive from Memphis, TN to enter into this Fish Camp and it was extremely clean and inviting. There is everything you need for your stay. We brought a lot of things with us that we ended up taking back because we didn't need it. The only drawback is sitting on the top deck in the afternoons. There are no ceiling fans on the deck area and each afternoon when the breeze is blowing it was blocked by the house, so sitting on the deck was unbearably hot. The sunset will be in your face for a little while but once the sun goes down, it's actually pleasant sitting outdoors. We didn't know how to turn on the deck lights and the sound on the TV just went out and we couldn't get it back. Another suggestion would be to have a book of instructions on how to operate electronics and lighting. Other than that, we enjoyed the house totally. Having our boat there in our private slip was well worth the price. While we did enjoy the accommodations and location, the marina is what killed it for us. We wanted to do some fishing and one day the marina was closed without warning. For two days the marina had no live bait. For another two days they had no gas. We just kind of wandered around and had to rely on artificial lures for fishing and keep track of how much gas we used each day. The boat ramp is in an awkward location and if you're not careful you will get run over by other boaters. Being our first time fishing on Lake Calcasieu will also be our last. To avid fishermen, this place would be perfect for you. Location and house set up is perfect. Good luck to all on your future fishing trips. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to share his home.
