Great adult and children's spaces

Beautiful accommodation, with children's retreat and short walk to the beach. Full kitchen, view of sea, beautifully decorated, wardrobes in every room, single garage and one in driveway.

Canadians in Lorne!

This property was ideal for 3 adult couples. The main floor kitchen, dining and living area was excellent, very light and open and had a great view. Our biggest surprise was that there was no free wifi/internet connection, though our other friends who also stayed in Lorne all had free wifi. As International travellers this was a disappointment. Information at the house suggested to go to the local cafe for connection but that was not easy to find as many businesses in town were closed. Additionally, there unfortunately were quite a few dead and alive "daddy longlegs" which we had to take care of in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the shower in the laundry room was extremely small so it was difficult to move around in! The location of this property to Lorne and amenities is excellent.

Getaway

A great property, well appointed with views across the water on the upper level. So close to the shops and beach you won’t need your car. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic location and great value for money. Well equipped for anything you’d need for a week’s stay, which has been well thought out by the owners. Will try and stay again!

New and clean property and good location

The title says most but there are 2 other comments: 1. Three stories building may not be suitable for people with difficulties up and down stairs. 2. These days people would expect wi-fi to be as common as a washing machine. Unfortunately it wasn't provided.

Fantastic location!

In the heart of Lorne, very spacious, excellent views and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended. Only downside is that the website indicates that there are 4 bedrooms with 4 beds, leading the guest to believe 4 double beds. One room has two singles. In addition, there is a surcharge to pay by card through the estate agents.

Would stay again

The home was everything we hoped for. It is large and doesn't feel cramped even though there were 8 of us staying there. There are 28 steps from top to bottom but we considered it good exercise. The bathroom on the bottom floor is very basic but the one on the middle floor could be shared. The view is nice over the town and out towards the ocean. It is only a very short walk to the shops but a short uphill walk back, again good exercise. The kitchen was well fitted out and good enough for cooking meals if required. We were very happy and would stay there again if we are down that way again in a large family group.

Excellent property in the perfect spot

We stayed here during the Amy Gillet bike race with the whole family and it was excellent! The property itself is beautiful and is in a great location, being only a couple of minutes from the main street - even with young children, it was an easy walk.
