The house is in a great location, just off the expressway, and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is very clean. There is a generous supply of towels, paper products, toiletries, etc. The kitchen is well equipped. For dog owners, the best feature is a fenced backyard where four legged friends can run free. Communication with the owners is good, making check-in and check out very straightforward. I have stayed here several times over the past couple of years on stopovers for trips out west and will likely do so again in the future.

Our son got married at the Living History Farm so the location of the house was ideal. The neighborhood was very quiet.The size was adequate for our needs. Beds were very comfortable. Decor was minimal. Furnishing and home was showing some wear and rear. The daily rental was fair for quality of the home.

Great stay

My daughter lives in Denver and was coming back for a bridal shower. We had family flying in from out town and this was a perfect place to stay and have the shower. Great neighbors! Had a wonderful stay!

This house is great if you’re looking for a safe, quick stay. Nothing fancy here. Was very easy to get in the house. Communication with the owner was fine and she allowed my request to check in an hour early.

Ladies Get Away for A Concert in Des Moines

Three friends and I attended the Chris Botti concert at Hoyt Sherman Place on March 8th, which was fantastic! I chose the Cozy Home VRBO based on the location, price, and number of bedrooms and baths. The Cozy Home was precisely that. All the furnishings were more than comfortable. I would stay here again.

Exactly the right house for our families quick one night stay in Iowa. We were all traveling in from different states for our nephew/grandson/cousin’s wedding in nearby Johnston. The house had what we needed (2 coffee makers-1 keurig, 1 carafe style, plenty of towels, fridge was on and cold when we arrived), the check in and check out process was simple and straightforward. The beds are memory foam and a bit hard for my liking, but others in the group said they liked it. House was clean, if a bit worn. Overall very happy that it fit our needs for this special weekend!
