Precioso apartamento muy cerca de la piscina comunitaria, restaurante / pequeña tienda.
Pruebe la verdadera vida francesa en este apartamento del siglo XVII en medio de un pequeño pero animado pueblo en el Perigord noir, Dordoña. Obtenga su pan fresco en la tienda / restaurante local de al lado y relájese en la piscina local a solo 250 m de distancia (julio y agosto, por una pequeña tarifa), la cancha de tenis gratuita / Jeu de Boule están aún más cerca. El apartamento renovado tiene un dormitorio, una cocina bien equipada con nevera / congelador, horno y microondas. Wi-Fi gratis. Disfrute de su desayuno en el patio privado con barbacoa. El área del salón tiene una televisión inteligente de pantalla plana con Netflix. Los propietarios hablan con fluidez inglés y holandés y razonablemente francés.
El área es famosa por muchas cosas; los numerosos castillos, gran especialidad gastronómica, encantadores pueblos de mercado y cuevas Las mundialmente famosas cuevas de Lascaux en Montignac están a solo 13 km, donde también se puede practicar piragüismo en el Vézère (¡consejo!). Hay hermosos jardines para ver, y puedes encontrar Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, que se considera la capital prehistórica del mundo a 34 km. Hay un pequeño lago para nadar a 3 km, y también uno a 13 km que es ideal para niños pequeños y tiene un buen restaurante en el lugar. Un lago enorme con actividad de playa y deportes acuáticos, Lac du causse a solo 30 km. Bergerac y sus numerosos campos de vino / degustación también podrían ser un gran destino. Rutas de senderismo, paseos a caballo y un bosque de escalada. Todo está cerca y hay mucho que mencionar, pero en la casa encontrarás un mapa con mucha información y consejos.

We are Evan and Katja Bouw. We are Dutch, but have lived in New Zealand from 2008 till 2015 where we established a passionfruit orchard. In 2011 our son Ryan was born. After 7 beautiful years we decided to return back to Europe to be closer to our family due to family circumstances. We have always loved the Dordogne and decided to move here.
After a long search we found our special place; Domaine Le Manoir. It is a 10ha estate in the small village of Fossemagne, about 10 km from Azerat. The previous owners have had it in their family for over 300 years and it is over 500 years old. According to the former owners it used to be the hunting lodge for the nearby Chateau Hautefort, and we do have copies of old documents that support that. It is a renovation project where we have 2 gites finished at the moment en want to create 2 more in the near future. We will always respect the privacy of our guests, but please don't hesitate to ask us any questions you may have..

It is a renovation project where we have 2 gites finished at the moment en want to create 2 more in the near future. In January 2018 we bought a property in Azerat, about 10 km from us.
The history of Maison Thérèse and appartement La Petite Épicerie, (Azerat):. It is build in the 17th century and much of the old building is still intact. It is listed in the monument care and used take an important place in the village of Azerat.
It used to be the only grocery/ bread shop in the village and surrounding area, When we bought it, the old village oven was included, it is located near by in a separate building and is about 4,5 mtr deep and it used to take a few days just to heat it slowly so that the stones wont crack.
From the apartment side you can also see a very old building, not in use at the moment. This used to be the family’s stables where the cows and sheep would live. Behind it is another old cellar where the family would make their wine.
De former owners are in their 80’s and still live in the village, they have had the building in their family for a very long time. They tell us the house and appartment was always loved very much by the family and there were always many beautiful flowers everywhere. In the welcome book on the table in the appartment are some old photo's of the building and family they gave us.We will always respect the privacy of our guests, but please don't hesitate to ask us any questions you may have..

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
The area is famous for many things; the many castles, great specialty food, lovely market towns, and caves. The world famous not to miss Lascaux caves in Montignac are at just 13km, where you can also go canoeing on the Vézère (tip!). There are beautiful gardens to see, and you can find Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, what is considered the prehistoric capital of the world at 34km. There is a small lake to swim at 3 km, and also one at 13 km which is great for young children and has a good restaurant on site. A huge lake with beach and watersport activity, Lac du causse at just 30km. Bergerac and its many wine fields/tasting could also be a great destination. Hiking tracks, horseback riding and a climbing forest.. It is all close and there is much more, to much to mention, but in the appartement you will find a map with a lots of information and tips.
