Lakehouse on private lake!

We are located in the beautiful gated community of Hot Springs Village in Arkansas. Hot Springs Village is 26,000 acres of lakes, golf courses, planned hiking and biking trails, and gorgeous mountain scenery. Just an hour from Little Rock, this beautifully decorated home sits on a private spring-fed lake. You will not want to leave the house, but if you do decide to venture out there are plenty of restaurants, trails, and amenities. Just 30 minutes down the road is historic Hot Springs, AR.



This home is a gorgeous two story home with over 3,100 square feet on the private spring-fed lake Cortez.

The home is four bedrooms (the Master upstairs at the entry level - A king sized bed) and the other three bedrooms downstairs. The downstairs bedrooms are: The Murphy Bedroom (a queen size Murphy Bed), the Red Room (A queen size bedroom that connects to the downstairs deck), the Bunk Room (a twin bed over full), and the Futon Room (It`s a den connecting the Red and Murphy rooms, but it can be closed off, and used as a bedroom if needed -so that would actually make five rooms if needed (this bed is a full bed). We also have a pull out couch in the upstairs Arkansas Room (Sun Room off the kitchen).


We have two decks that over look the lake. The top deck has a Webber gas grill and seating for your entire group. This deck is off the main den and dining areas. The bottom deck has a cedar porch swing to enjoy the views (this deck is off the Red Room).

The host was so friendly and added a personal card as a thank you that was great! This was actually a return trip for us. The entire house is just so great and the added fire table on the deck was superb!! So so relaxing! Love the use of the kayaks also! We did have some trouble with the downstairs not draining properly and on the last day saw the light on the outside that said call because there was an issue. Thanks for fixing the upper bunk but the floor in the kitchen still needs attention!

The house was for sale and we were thankful that it worked out for us to purchase the home. Our four children have grown up coming to the lake. It is now a home of happy memories. We hope you love your time here as well. It is too beautiful not to share. We hope when you visit that you will find rest and make your own memories.

Why they chose this property

After spending years vacationing in various venues (cruises, theme parks, beaches, and parks) we found this property. At first we thought the week we spent there would be nominal, after all, what would we do at a lake house? We were wrong! From the moment you arrive you see scenic views, a fantastic lake, and a beautiful house. It became the most relaxing, memorable, and fun week we had ever spent as a family of 6! No crowds! No lines! No rush! You don't have to wade through hundreds of beach umbrellas fighting for a view. You have a private lake at your back door! The lake is clear, spring-fed. Swim off the dock! Get the kayak and explore! Use the pontoon boat and tube! Utilize all the games, movies, and accessories the house provided. Believe it or not, you really won't want to leave the house. There's plenty to do if you choose to leave, but staying means you can cook (and even that became fun), relax, swim, boat, kayak, and enjoy one another. Sipping coffee on the deck each morning, watching the hummingbirds, the lake, the fish...it became paradise. t is a place of memories, wonderful holidays, and joy. You are invited to share in the memories with us!

What makes this property unique


We have provided many choices for activities at our lake house. We have foosball, ping ping, a two person kayak and many board games. This is a great house for activities and also for relaxation. There are many areas to relax inside and outside. This house has great areas to view the sunsets over the lake and mountains, and amazingly, most days there will be a beautiful one. There is a swing on the dock to relax on while enjoying the sunset. During the winter, the sun sets in a different location. You still view the sunset over the lake, but from the windows of the Arkansas room - where you can stay cozy and warm and watch the sunset. And the glow from the sky on the lake right after sunset is also beautiful. The full moons with reflections on the lake can be usually seen from the top deck.
You will find the house to be a luxury lake house, and the time spent to be relaxing and special.
