We had the best time at this property. Nichola was wonderful and so accommodating our entire stay. So comfortable and the location is near so many things. Our kids enjoyed the pool the most! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very Secluded Location!

Perfect vacation house! Close enough to anything you want to do in Atlanta yet secluded enough to not even know your in the big city! Lots of outdoor space! Beautiful pool! Kids enjoyed the game room! We had the best time this week!

Family spring break

This was a good option for our family in Atlanta for spring break. I appreciated that it was tucked away from the main road. The kids really enjoyed the pool and game room. The inside was clean and well decorated. It was helpful to know that there were security cameras on the premises.

Ideal and safe location

This property was exactly as described. We never felt “unsafe” in the area the property is located. The owners made sure we felt incredibly welcome and at home, even checking in halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. We have rented multiple VRBO homes and this is the first time the owners checked in so for me this was a huge plus. We were there from the west coast for a College tour with our daughter and two of her best friends. We found it to be a short drive to Six Flags, Truist Park, the World of Coca Cola, and many other areas of interest. This will be our go to VRBO when visiting our daughter when she attends school in Georgia in 2024. The teens enjoyed the game room, late night chats at the fire pit, and of course the pool, we never got the “we are bored can we go to the mall” during our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay where you can feel at “home” while away from your own, this is it!!

Hidden Gem

F First off let me start by saying that this Diamond in the Ruff is truly hidden away. The house is amazing with all of the amenities exactly as they posted them, the pool and outdoor area superceded all of our expectations. But the thing that made this stay probably our most impressive stay at any space was the host and hottest. We travel a bunch for both business and family, we have stayed in many exquisite properties but they did not have our host. These people were amazing at every turn. Extremely attentive to every need open and honest to constructive feedback and a great Eye for detail. The house was 5 Star but they made the stay a 10 Star. See you guys on the next trip to Atlanta. And Thank You Again.

Weekend with Friends; not great for little kids

I have spent a long time considering what to say in this review. We traveled to the Atlanta area with our two small children to spend a weekend with family and friends. There were 6 adults and 2 children total. I did inform the owner before we arrived we may have had another adult but she was not able to take off work to join us. I was thankful for the space and amenities of this rental. However, there were some things that did not work well for us; perhaps, a different group of renters would have been a better fit for this particular property. Specifically, there was too much decor for our kids. The owners did a good job of making sure we had everything we could need to stay comfortably. But, there was too much stuff one every surface. We had to work really hard to watch our children in every room at all times to make sure none of their decor was broken or moved. The owners should decorate how they see fit in their property, but other renters especially ones with smaller children should know I felt like I never got to relax in the space. Next, there was a lot of air freshener throughout the rental specifically upstairs. I would guess perhaps another renter smoked at one point and the owners were trying to cover the smell? Two of our party have allergies to perfumes and it was hard for them in certain areas of the house. Finally, there were several steps we had to complete to let the owner know who was at the rental, what car they drove, and we even had to send every person's driver's license and vehicle description. I understand making sure the owner is aware of who is staying at their property but I have stayed in several rentals and this seemed excessive. The owner did communicate via the VRBO app. There is a camera on the property to monitor who is there and which vehicles are parked in the driveway. It was a huge bonus to have a working dishwasher to wash all of the baby bottles throughout the stay. We enjoyed our weekend together but I believe this rental would be better for older children who don't require so much supervision.

Thank you for you feedback. I apologize our home did not worked for your children, your reservation booked with 6 adults and 2 children. We only require ID for adults only. I’m sorry seem excessive but from past experience the person who book property usually don’t take responsibility for or have knowledge of any missing for damage items they guests have done. That’s why we note and ask everyone to read description to make sure our property is for you. We understand we can’t decor and have everything that fit every person but we try. We do ask if anything you need and check in on guests to make sure they have all they need and we try to accommodate everyone the best we can. This is first I have not work for kids as I have a large family and kids that stay at property with any issues. We have baby gates, toilets seats, blankets etc and we note in description available upon requests but they are still visual in closets if needed. I’m sorry if didn’t fit for your children. Everything in photo is how home is I’ll add more details photo of decor so guests can have visual before booking. We ask and even put penalty for people to not smoke in the house, but I promise you it’s not to cover up smoke. We like our home to smell clean and fresh so I use Lysol, bleach, and air freshener in home. It’s hard to do get rid of smoke. So as you can see that’s reason for rules of IDs, type of vehicle etc, because not every guests follow rules or think of what they do how it impact the next guests, so it buts us in bad situations that is unfair to the next guests. We still have open claim for the guest that smoke in the bedroom.

Great stay!

Greta location! Only took 23 minutes to get to the zoo and aquarium. The kids loved the pool, game room, and the space outside to run around. Plenty of space for sleeping arrangements. There were cold bottles of water waiting for us in the fridge which were amazing after a long day of travel! Will definitely stay again next time we are in Atlanta!

Guys weekend

6 guys went over to Atlanta for a Braves game and golf to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday. The house was great and the pool was wonderful. Definitely recommend this property.

Why they chose this property

We are located in a historic neighborhood of Atlanta in the Sandtown area. Our property is very private and secluded. We have lots and trees and shaded areas on the property. There’s a long driveway to property with plenty of room for parking. You can park in the driveway there’s room for RV, Boats, Motorcycles, etc.

What makes this property unique

It’s hidden off the main road and very secluded, quiet, and peaceful. It’s a 1940s home nice to relax in a small space. Nature at best.
