The magnificence of Jade East Penthouse 1950, against a backdrop of emerald waters and crystal sands is absolutely breathtaking. Jade East 1950 boasts 10 foot ceilings, wrap-around balconies and close to 1000 more square feet than Jade East’s traditional three bedroom unit. Among the most striking features are the unobstructed beach front views from the living room, kitchen, and Primary suite.

Located on the site of one of Destin's most coveted beachfront locations, Jade East is an upscale Gulf-front condominium resort offering the perfect combination of amenities and accommodations to make your vacation better than anything wrapped in a little blue box. Let the high-speed elevators carry you away to the private 19th floor. You cannot access the exclusive Penthouse floor without a code.

Frolic in the Gulf-front pool or relax in the Gulf side lounging areas. Fight for your love on the lighted tennis court, or enjoy an afternoon cookout at the barbecue grilling area. Stroll the convenient beach boardwalk for an indescribable day of basking in the sun, complete with complimentary beach service (in season) what a brilliant way to spend your vacation!

This Penthouse offers the largest TV at Jade East with a 72 inch 3D! Extra special amenities to this Penthouse include the two closest parking spaces to the main entrance and a state-of-the-art water purification system.

This property comes with 2 parking spaces.


We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.
We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

No tents or canopies are allowed on the beach.

Family Vacation 2023

We had an amazing stay! The views are beautiful, beds so comfy, kitchen well stocked. It’s hard to find a place that would fit our large families needs and this location more than met our requirements! The location is within walking distance to great food, fun water park and shopping for souvenirs for the kids.

Thanksgiving gathering with immediate family only during Covid. Great new way to escape for Thanksgiving! We all Enjoyed the condo ... great views and tons of room ... good supplies in kitchen for our feast!

Amazing view

This place was better than we could have imagine . So roomy. The place is fantastic and had all of our needs met . The whole family enjoyed the stay and all the views were incredible. So much things to do nearby even things for walking distance like the waterpark across the street was fun!!! The host are amazing and always was there. We needed them to be.. Would recommend this place to anybody and hopefully can come back next summer !!!!

Great Views

We went for Christmas. Accommodations were very nice for our family of six. The condo building was not too full that week, so being on a high floor, was not an issue for the elevator. It was easy to cook in the condo, but eating out is a good option with some great places close by.

Beautiful

The property was as listed. The place was very comfortable and also had amazing views. The amenities were perfect. Could have not wanted for anything else. The owner made a personal visit to deliver champagne and chocolates. A very nice touch.

Spring break stay

We had a wonderful time. The condo was much larger than expected with plenty of room for a family. The view from the balcony cannot be beat. I even took a video of dolphins, sharks, and stingrays in one shot. The amenities were wonderful. Having chairs and umbrellas ready for us was a much appreciated bonus. We hope to return again.

Great find at the last minute!

We booked a family trip last minute and stumbled upon this gem.Building was having elevator issue but even with one down there was no waiting and it was full. Great beach and the chair rental process is smooth. Keep an eye out because they will put your chairs away before the end time unless you tell them. Close to a lot of stores etc. we never left the property. Didn’t need to. The property was perfectly described and the videos are incredible. Thanks again!

The views and location were faboulous

The condo was wonderfully located to activities for driving distance. You also woke up each morning to looking out at the Gulf. The beach was amazing there as well. The owner was super helpful, nice, and responsive to our needs. She even brought us a basket to welcome us which I was not expecting. The condo had everything we needed to spend the day at the beach such as boogie boards, extra chairs, beach towels and an extra umbrellas. In addition it had all the cooking supplies which are usually missing- including a waffle maker. My family and I had a wonderful time there and hope to visit again soon!

Lots of space and amazing view

Our 3 couple group enjoyed the extra space of condo 1950. The view from balcony offered amazing sunsets. We vacation in Destin once or twice a year. What we missed was being close to the sites and sounds of the beach. The 19th floor was a bit to high and the uncovered deck hot for the majority of the day. It would be nice to update the bedroom furniture and bathroom fixtures to be more ‘penthouse’ quality. But in general it met our needs. The extra security on the top floor was appreciated.

Beautiful, but....

While this condo was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable, I would be remiss if I did not warn others about the literal headache we experienced during our spring break stay. We had hoped to spend five nights unwinding with our kids and their friends, but we woke up on the first morning to the sounds of saws, hammering, and buzzing.I called Newman-Dailey about what sounded like construction next door and was told they would contact the HOA and get back to me. However, I never heard back from the leasing company, and the construction continued until 3 pm. I understand that property owners need to renovate, and I do not hold that against them. However, I do take issue with the leasing company’s lack of communication.For five days, every day from 9 a.m. until 3–4 p.m., we endured the constant noise of saws, hammering, and buzzing. I strongly encourage anyone considering renting a condo in this complex to inquire about ongoing construction before spending 5,000 on a stay. You will not be informed about the construction in advance, nor will you receive any reimbursement for the "headache".

Breathtaking ocean beachfront view with wrap around balcony of Destin - probably one of the best views you can get! The host was very gracious and kind and the place was exceptionally clean! Everything we needed for our 5 night 6 day stay was there along with clear instructions. Highly recommend!

Great family trip

The condo was ready on time, reserved parking right up front with 2 spots,, almost all other units only have one. Condo was even bigger and nicer than expected, the views were absolutely incredible. Plenty of well stocked cabinets in the kitchen, comfortable beds, and the couches were comfortable as well, especially after a day of walking the white sand beaches and sipping cocktails.

Enjoyable despite the weather

No one can control the weather, but the property was just as inviting. The ease of access allowed us to run down any time the sun was shining. I enjoyed having access to a gym and a pool as well.
