Great Stay

Communication is excellent!My only con is there is no work out facility and I asked to use their location next door and was told I could not. Most places that have multiple locations let you use work out facilities at their sister properties.

Because each building is overseen by a separate property manager and condo association, we do not have the authority to allow guests to use the facilities in a property for which they do not have a reservation. It is a great place for mutli-family vacations Beach, Poll, condos all within 30 yards of each other. But Condo 13B...... NO THANKS!

Repeat Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third time vacationing at Sandpiper, and while I enjoyed my stay, I did have some issues. The unit was very nice and I would highly recommend it, the location, beach, etc. is fantastic. On the less than positive side there were people smoking EVERYWHERE, very rowdy unsupervised children at the pool multiple times, and it was a little frustrating because of that. The previous times I stayed here security seemed to have a better presence and I did not have any of these issues.

First Sandpiper Gulf Shores Visit

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sandpiper resort is a trip back to the beach vacations I took with my parents in the 70s. I mean this in the best way possible. 15B was a comfortable unit. It offers no fancy bells and whistles but still has everything one needs for a relaxing stay. The 3 story complex's smaller number of units (as opposed to the monstrous high rises lining the beach) translates to an uncrowded private beach, available seating at the pool and open parking which all made for an enjoyable visit. The only negative from our week here (and my reason for 2 stars for property management) was the lack of an onsite security guard to enforce the posted quiet hours of 10p-8a, as our stay coincided with a large group who consistently sang and played very loud music most nights until 11p or later. I even went outside one night to look for a security guard to complain to about the noise and none could be found.

There is security every night, and they rove between properties; if you did not see him or her, he may have been next door. The rooms are always clean and well furnished. Good access to the beach. Great location for access to restaurants and other activities. Our only complaint is other guests playing music too loud at the pool.

The complex is great and Bender staff is excellent. This unit could use a refresh on furniture. The living room furniture is starting to show it's age and the master King bed is as well. Other than that, great stay and very fun vacation!

Lovely Condo, mattress needs updating

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, the condo was updated with beautiful furnishings. The pool is right outside your door and the beach is steps away. The views of the beach are awesome from the balcony. The only complaint we had was the mattresses in the condo are very worn out. I slept in every bed in the place and was miserable when I woke up. We all wound up taking turns sleeping on the sofa because it was way better than the beds. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will return.

Although we had some laundry issues, Jenny and the Bender staff worked with the owner and a new washer and dryer were installed during our visit. 15B is a beautiful condo! We have been coming to the Sandpiper for over 18 years and meet the nicest folks. This year we invited our neighbors to join us for Thanksgiving dinner with our family.
