I am a touring musician who has toured the world internationally over 4 times and am based out of LA. I saw the trend and wave of cool that was sweeping over Nashville years ago and it has hit big time so I am glad I was able to acquire this wonderful place years ago before it popped. I have a love affair with Nashville and its history and I look forward to providing a place to stay so others can enjoy it the way I have.
Jason purchased this House in 2007

Great Location but Dirty
Great location in East Nashville. Only complaint was that the house was very dirty. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. The toilet was caked in feces and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. Visible from the living room. Had to clean it ourselves. Not sure why a cleaning deposit is required when the place clearly is not cleaned. Owner did apologize and promise to improve in the future so may be better now. That being said, there are better options in East Nashville.
Im writing in response to Blair Varnold's recent review. Ive only done this one other time as an owner on this site in the almost 3 years Ive been short term renting (and countless 5 star reviews). Occasionally when a house is cleaned it may sit for a week before the next guests arrive and that is where a few cobwebs may have occurred but I have NEVER had this complaint before. He sent pix of the toilet and I could not see what he was seeing (maybe it just was not there). I did explain that I would send his concerns to my cleaning crew and they will see this review of his as well and I did. They apologized but they definitely did not agree that the house was unclean, nor has almost anyone else who has stayed at any of my 3 rental locations in Nashville. What Blair didn't mention is that I was super accommodating of his family and even provided (with a smile) at no extra charge a childs pack and play set that I had to have specifically delivered and returned after his stay. He did write me and asked for money to not write a bad review. That was a first!!! I refused to pay him and here is his review. I encourage you to look at other reviews as I hold my staff including my cleaning crew to the highest standard possible and do agree that sometimes we may miss the mark (maybe Mr. Varnolds was a little High)? I take pride in providing the best rental experience possible. Im very sorry Mr. Varnold didn't agree and his review is duly noted.
Great Stay - Everything was as promised
We were in Nashville over Memorial Day weekend with 7 people. The house was exactly as the pictures indicated. Very cute house and nicely decorated. It's in a quiet neighborhood that felt very safe. There is a grocery store about a mile away. UberX rides to downtown were $12-15 depending on the time of day - about a 10 minute ride. Jason was great to work with and very accommodating. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a stock of toilet paper and paper towels so it was nice that we didn't have to purchase those. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There are plenty of bath towels. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
SO much bigger on the inside than it looks!
Plenty of space for my 8-person group with plenty of towels and all bedding provided. Owner had a nice guestbook out telling you all you need to know about Nashville and he had great same-day communication. Super clean and close to downtown. Highly recommend!!
Small but comfy
We had a great time staying at this house. There was eight of us staying there, and it fit us all just fine. We didn't do any cooking during our stay, but the kitchen seemed well stocked if you wanted to. There were plenty of towels, and the beds were comfortable. A list was left of places to eat and things to do while there, it was very convenient. The house is also a short drive to downtown. Very nice accommodations.
Great property and care, loved staying here. And easy drive to downtown and everything nearby!
Very nice, cute house! We would like to suggest a few more larger bowls and larger frying pans. Otherwise perfect
