The views from this home are stunning. Forget your cares and watch the world go by in Montana's prettiest valley.
There is no place like this friendly home. Its slate floors and tall ceilings will welcome you. Its five decks will relax you. You are just a step away from heaven.
You want to play? This home overlooks what we call the Happy Valley. There is one trail-head after another that leads to sparkling rivers and emerald lakes. Superb hiking from the doorstep. The valley is a playground; horseback riding, hunting, swimming, fishing, golfing, and shopping.
Big horn sheep have been known to walk up on deck. If you are looking for privacy our 156 acres are bordered on three sides by state land. You can stroll forever. But be careful, you may see lions and tigers and bears, just kidding... elk and deer.
The home is light and airy, with over 3,800 square feet of living space. Did I say it has solar and wind generator just in case the grid has a hick-up?
You will not want to leave. We'll let the pictures and referrals tell the rest of the story.
We have a 70 foot long barn, built into a rock cavern, perfect for weddings or group gatherings. The loft has 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a washer and dryer, kitchen and living room. The cavern has a stage and a party is beckoning (wedding or venue rates are separate).
We had a blast in building our house - 20 years ago. And are presently excited about our new wedding/event venue.
With three sides state land the property allows no end of privacy. If you are looking for openness and spaciousness and a feeling of freedom, this is it.
We have a barn for events or weddings with side walls that are natural rock. You can plan your wedding from the top of hills that overlook the valley to top of ravines that finger out, one after another. These locations will make you feel like you are on top of the world.
One of our guests said, 'Your house is like a cruise ship that landed atop a mountain.'
At night I you can see the lights of the entire valley, from Hamilton in the south, to Victor in the west, to Stevensville and Florence in the north.
My wife and I spent one week in the Bitterroot Valley in October of 2004 and stayed at the Eagle's Nest. The Bitterroot Valley is one of the prettiest places on earth. We thoroughly enjoyed the day trips exploring this beautiful valley but the highlight of each day was coming back to the house. We both found that we were looking forward to getting back to the house at the end of the day to relish one of the best views anywhere in one of the most perfect homes we have ever been privileged to enjoy. We finished our stay by trying to buy this wonderful home and land from Tim, but to no avail. You will enjoy staying here.Kenny Dockery,Sr. Vice President & CFOThe United Company,1005 Glenway Avenue Bristol, Va. 24201Phone(276) 645-1447 FAX(276) 645-1437 CELL(423)534-8311
Our overall response is very positive. Unfortunately, we were so busy with the daughter's wedding we did not get a chance to enjoy the quiet and glorious view of the Bitterroot Valley. The kitchen was a DREAM and so fun to work in. I would recommend this VRBO to those who want (or can), take time to sit and appreciate the panoramic view of this incredible valley.
We stayed for 3 nights in July so that we could attend our niece's wedding at a nearby wedding venue. Having a beautiful home we could share made it a wonderful weekend. The views were outstanding and we especially enjoyed coffee in the mornings looking out over the valley and wine on the balcony at night watching the stars.
We were all talking about how unique the place was... Eclectic and super comfortable, well- equipped and clean. Have to get back there sometime and enjoy the quiet and the peace. Thanks to Tim for everything!!
This property is almost an hour south of Missoula, just south of Stevensville by a few miles. This rental is outfitted with anything you might need for your stay, and the owner is outgoing, friendly, and accommodating. There is plenty of space inside the house so you don't feel cooped up, with many places to sit, relax, and watch the wilderness outside. We saw deer daily, along with lots of little rabbits. It is close enough to Stevensville so if you need anything you can easily run to a grocery, coffee shop, restaurant, or even a brewery. It is close to things to do if you enjoy the outdoors, such as visiting Lee Metcalf or hiking St. Mary's Peak.
My family attended a wedding in Stevensville and we all stayed at the home. After traveling for two days, we were met by the owner at the home where he had started a cozy fire and gave us a tour of the home. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and gave us recommendations for local grocery stores. The house was amazing! We had a wonderful time and if we ever have the opportunity will certainly return to that peaceful house on the hill.
The views will blow you away. The house has everything you need and comes with a good safety culture built in. It is a car climb to get there, but it is worth the trek. We rented this for a wedding that took place down the hill and we filled it with family. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Montana is beautiful and this nice home will show it off to you.
Lay back and watch the world go by.
