THE VIEW | Coast & Country |

This gorgeous beach styled property is on one level and sits on the highly desirable north side of the island, with spectacular views over Onetangi Bay which is known for its safe swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking.

There are 2 bedrooms in the main house and a large externally accessed studio with queen bed and twin beds and further full bathroom.

The bedrooms are very spacious and the master bedroom and studio offer magnificent sea views. There is a full modern kitchen and bathroom. The sun drenched deck is the perfect place to soak up the uninterrupted view and the huge level rear lawn area is perfect for family fun.

Ideally located to walk down to Onetangi beach and cafes and bars and has Casito Miro vineyard & restaurant as a neighbour with Obsidian Vineyard just a short walk away. There are stunning coastal and vineyard walks commencing from our doorstep. This property is an ideal base for exploring the island.
Please note there is steps and a pathway up to the house

Please also note that the property is located at the top of a steep driveway, which has plenty of room to turn around and is shared with the neighbours .

The driveway is sealed & SUV 4WD vehicles have no problem. Some saloon cars have a little trouble coming down the drive due to the steep turn onto SeaView Road, so drivers must take care at all times.

NB - Only 2 cars are able to park at the property

Please Note - There is air conditioning in only the living and lounge areas as well as one bedroom in the main house & in the sleepout

The best break in NZ: the view, the ambience, the care!

My sister and I had a spectacular weekend at Penny’s house. We arrived to a warm and delightful house well set up for us. Recommendations for where to eat and visit were perfect but nothing beat sitting on the deck overlooking the sea with glasses of wine. Wonderful experience!

WHAT A VIEW!

This property was honestly incredible, the views were second to none. Just you and the big wide blue. They had a thoughtful touch of a local wine on the table ready to go, as well as lots of recommendations on what to do around the island. The house was so beautiful and it was super handy having a washing machine too! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking to stay. ❤️

Love our stay. The view is just amazing from the house, we even saw dolphins playing from the deck. The driveway is a bit tricky but not enough to put you off staying. Lovely welcome gift. Also the beds and bedding were super lush. Would definitely stay again.

Not for winter

Nice house - but not made for a winter stay. We were unlucky with some inclement weather during our 4 night stay. The house very quickly becomes damp, it’s very draughty, the windows rattle and bang with the wind on them and the house as well as the outbuilding heat very badly. I am sure it’s lovely in summer, but avoid in winter.

Very user-friendly property, all amenities provided. Stunning sea views create the perfect holiday atmosphere. A note of caution: the steep driveway is really for confident drivers (but that's Waiheke for you!) and the access to the house could be a challenge for elderly/less mobile guests, which we had. Would absolutely recommend- we loved it.

Wonderful experience staying at the property. As mentioned online, very steep drive way but we were fine with it. One thing I would like to mention is hot water in shower. We were 2 families (8 people in total) and it was winter times so we all didn’t get sufficient hot water for showers. It went cold after 4 people took shower and rest had to take shower in cold water. another hot water cylinder would have make difference. Saying all that we will book property for another holidays in future without a doubt.
