On the slopes of the vineyards of Jurançon in the foothills of the Pyrenees, the barn apartment is ideal accommodation for those in search of a peaceful haven not too far from French life. Just 10 minutes from the lovely town of Pau with its chateau, shops and restaurants, and an easy drive from the mountains, you have the best of both worlds.

Suitable for individuals, couples or families, you are perfectly situated to explore all aspects of this beautiful region or just to enjoy the peace and beauty of your surroundings. There are wine tours on your doorstep and you are 40 minutes from Lourdes in one direction and from the salt waters of Salies de Bearn in the other as well as within reach of the Atlantic coast at Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz.

Your accommodation is cosy but stylish with all that you need for an easy and enjoyable stay including a wood-burner for the cooler months. It is beautifully clean with 2 ensuite bedrooms and a vaulted central living area with well-equipped kitchen. There is a washing machine for your use in the separate laundry room. Guests agree that it is very reasonably priced for the standard of accommodation. Linen is all provided and normal electricity use is included. Heating costs only are supplementary, and optional cleaning if you choose not to do it yourself.

The apartment is secluded and private with plenty of green space all around. The woodlands and stream are yours to enjoy and the splendid views of the Pyrenees from the lane are breathtaking. There is loads of space for children to let off steam with a trampoline and table tennis.

You also have access to the beautiful yoga and meditation room situated in a separate converted barn if wished and it is possible to have yoga classes and other instruction and treatments on site if you are interested. Healing retreats and silent retreats are possible by arrangement .

Nearest airports are Pau, Lourdes and Biarritz but Toulouse and Bordeaux are also a straightforward drive or train ride away.

We can sometimes welcome animals but please contact us about guidelines and please note that we have animals on site. Likewise, we can occasionally provide breakfast, and vegetarian/vegan meals, depending on the time of year and our availability. Just ask if you are interested.
