Cottage on Talc is fully self contained and only a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and a 3 minute walk to the RSL club,
We are situated near the creek which has plenty of walking tracks and parks for the kids.
Stanthorpe also has some amazing wineries and plenty of places to go mountain climbing such as bold rock and the pyramids which also have barbecues so you can have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Ideal location everything within walking distance. Super quiet I not use to. Everything you want in a little cottage you adjust to where light switches are. Overall yes very nice

Lovely little cottage and very comfortable beds. Only 1 bedroom so would suit younger family unless you don’t mind sharing the space. Great base location as close to everything. We didn’t cook but had everything if you wanted to be self contained. Also great selection of games, books and DVD. No wifi so plan ahead with downloads if kids want to use iPads. Good opportunity to go device free.

What a gem, this cozy little cottage. The photos really don't do it justice. A big, well equipped kitchen, a beautiful large bathroom, comfy beds and, to make it all even better, a beautiful wood-burner with plenty of tinsels and wood blocks. The carport parking is very convenient, and the cottage is on walking distance from the town center with all its pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Home away from home

A very comfortable and warm stay. Amenities are good and thoughtful, comfortable beds and living area, it’s quiet, in a great location, fireplace is lovely. Grateful these beautiful locations exist for a home away from home stay. We will be back when we return to Stanthorpe. Thank you Jody for providing a wonderful place to stay.

Better than a motel room!

Jody’s cottage is amazing - sparkling clean, hot water, a great, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. I would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay

Our stay at this charming cottage in Stanthorpe was nothing short of delightful. It’s perfectly located and an easy walk to the heart of Stanthorpe. The cozy interiors and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommended for a short or long getaway!

Lovely stay in Stanthorpe. Our accommodation was beautiful. Very clean and had everything you would ever want for a short stay. Very close to the town centre and the lovely creek side walks. Very close also to the National Parks. We sincerely thank our host for presenting such lovely accomodation.

The property was great , had a very enjoyable stay. the only issue we had was there was no accurate address on the confirmation email. No way of contact owner except by email. The location on the map showed the wrong place. Apart from that was very happy with our stay.

Was perfect place to take the kids for a short getaway to Stanthorpe. Very close to the centre of town. Direct access to Quart Pot Creek walking paths. Covered parking. Clean, cosy cottage feel. Brilliant wood fireplace to keep away the chill. Friendly, accommodating manager, quick to respond and help out with our requests. Kids wanted to stay longer. We would definitely re-book for another visit.

Cottage was perfect, close to town easy walk along the beautiful creek, manager was so nice and knowledgeable about the area gave us some great tips. Will definitely use the accommodation if available

Amazing cottage

Such a cute and well layed out cottage, perfect for the 2 of us, or even if you have 2 more people as well. Plenty of timber for the fire, with nice little extras as well. Highly recommend and we'll be back for sure

Well appointed unit in quiet street but close to town

Jody was very helpful and friendly and the unit was nicer than the pictures conveyed. There were lots of lovely homely touches and overall our stay was relaxed, comfortable and quiet. We were also right next to the park and creek and just a very short walk from town. Thank you, Jody for a great stay.

Fabulous for small young family :)

We had a wonderful time staying at Jody's place. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds (bedroom has 1 queen + 2 singles + trundle), Dvds for the kids and a wood burner/heater. Very central location in town, - RSL around the corner Would highly recommend :) thanks!

Stanthorpe cutie

Gorgeous little cottage right in Stanthorpe. Perfect for families with youngish children. Were provided with plenty of firewood, perfect for the winter nights. Very well equipped kitchen, including and airfryer which was super handy. Will definitely be back.
