The property was clean and bright, and was well set up for a group stay. Having 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms was luxurious…plenty of space for us to spread out, and get ready to go without being in each other’s way. The kitchen was well stocked, we found everything we needed for food prep and clean up. The large table was well lit, perfect for meals, games and jigsaw puzzling. We would definitely rent this property again.

I am an avid supporter of Duluth and all of the outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in this area.

Why they chose this property

For the immediate access to the wonderful outdoor activities while still having quick access to the greater Duluth area.
It has quick access to some of the best Mtn biking, nordic skiing , hiking and fishing in the area. It is surrounded by a hilly and eroded landscape, beautifully mixed conifer and hardwood forest with minimal undergrowth surrounding a quiet community setting that is hard to believe is within the City limits of Duluth.
Interestingly, it is difficult to know by looking at it today but the Fond du lac area is where Duluth began. It is the exact location of where the French explorer Daniel Greysolon Sieur DuLhut came upon the indigenous Native American community residing at the shores of the river now know as the St. Louis and the head waters of Lake Superior.
