Muy bonita casa para vivir no solo en verano sino también en invierno, gracias a su exposición al sur, la casa se vuelve muy sofisticada, la chimenea agrega una nueva visión para el hogar. En verano, a pesar de su proximidad a la ciudad, es muy tranquilo y pacífico.
con 3 dormitorios -1 habitación en suite con más un baño y otro toillett separado muy práctico, amplio y luminoso salón con 2 grandes terrazas y sofá cama en salón y cortafuegos, también un baño en el 1 piso cerca del cocina y sala
El área de la piscina, la barbacoa y el jardín es increíble, por favor, si desea más fotos, hágamelo saber
El pueblo de Salema es muy natural con una bonita playa, es un lugar para pescadores, un lugar muy especial para alojarse.

Incredible outdoor space!

The villa was ideally located with an incredible view of the ocean from the pool and the upper deck. It’s a steep but short walk down to the town and the beach. Our family had a wonderful time. Maria was easy to communicate with during our stay. We had a wonderful time!

Relaxing Villa

The villa is really very nice anf spacious. Especially from outside. You can enjoy the pool, the sight on the ocean, the flowers on the terrace. It's peaceful but still close to the beach and a market.. There is enough room for up to 7 people and 2 cars.

Wonderful villa in an unspoilt part of the Algarve

We had a blissful week at Villa Trafalgar. Maria could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay. The villa is beautifully quiet, ideally located for the charming resort of Salema and close to so many places to visit. We very much hope to stay here again - and it's not every place that we have rented that we can say that about by a long way. Thank you.

Everything you could wish for...

The villa was very well kept and located in a quiet area spotless and very big with lots of seating areas and facilities., very well equipped and well furnished, and the swimming pool area was very clean and relaxing with plenty of room for everyone. The sea views from the villa are just lovely. It was lovely to sit out at night with the lights on. This was a very private and peaceful place for us all to just unwind and enjoy. The host was quick at responding to any queries we had leading up to our stay and gave clear instructions to check in, we were also able to check-in early. Water parks were a short drive away. Would stay again for sure.

Great House, nice Views.

we spent a total of 10 days here and enjoyed every minute. In the morning after getting up, only 5 meters from the bed to the pool is quite a luxury. The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and therefore very quiet. Nevertheless not remote. For large cars, however, it could be a bit tight to get through the gate, if the parking spaces in front are all occupied in high season. A small supermarket with bakery is airline not even 200m away. Bis zum Strand sind es kanpp 500m. However, the way to it is very, very steep. But the view from the terraces and the garden to the sea is spectacular. Except for a few small things like a missing pasta strainer, I can recommend this house without reservation. We were four in the house and even eight we would not have felt cramped.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay at Trafalgar House very much and loved the small village of Salema. The house was spacious with many comfortable seating spaces. The kitchen was well equipped except that we could have used a larger coffee maker. I’m sure if we had requested a change the property manager would have arranged it. She was very approachable and easy to communicate with. We were two couples and each had our own bathrooms. There is also a twin room and a half bathroom upstairs. The house has lovely grounds and a wonderful clean swimming pool. The weather was very hot so the pool was most welcome. The views from this home are above and beyond. We were fortunate there was a full moon while we were there and the views of the moon shining on the water were spectacular. We had cleaning half way through our 10 day stay which was very welcome. The village itself is small but has a gorgeous beach and many restaurants. There is a steep walk up from the village to the house but it is fairly short. We loved the quiet neighbourhood and everything about this stay. Thank you.

Awesome Villa - great area

My husband and I have travelled all over Portugal over the past 30 years and I have to say that this is one of the best places we have stayed. We drive everywhere so having parking is very important. This place has plenty spaces to park as private parking. The villa itself is lovely. Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. The beds and linen were very good and the bathrooms had good showers. We like a bath so this was a great bonus. The area outside is so nice to spend a quiet day by the pool soaking up the sun. We tend to eat out most of the time but the occasional meal at home was enjoyed outside. The kitchen is well equipped to enable you to prepare food. We visited the nearby beach which has beautiful white soft sands and crystal clear water. So nice to swim in. There are a lot of very good restaurants near the villa within walking distance. There are so many lovely places to visit in this area and for families there is very easy access to many of the waterparks including Zoo Marine, Zoomarine Algarve - Theme Park, Zoo and Aquatic where we booked a trip to swim with the dolphins. What a great experience this was. We will definitely return to this area again to do more exploring of the area and would hope that this wonderful villa is available. Our host Maria was very fast at responding and very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was a bother.

Happy British Family

Casa/ Villa Trafalgar was everything we expected/ needed. A lovely 3 bed property 1hr15 from Faro with own pool 3 bedrooms 1 double huge en-suite with good sized wardrobe chest of drawers and bedside tables opening onto pool terrace. 2nd double and then twin room sharing bath/ shower and separate toilet also on lower floor and both opening onto pool area which has loads of space and sun loungers. BBQ and stone table and hammock in shade. Amazing sea view. All bedrooms have fans and lots of towels Upstairs v good sized living area with further upper huge balcony/patio with another outside dining table seating area and hammock. Upstairs toilet. Good kitchen with dishwasher washing machine and big fridge freezer. Well equipped crockery pans Off street behind gate parking 4 minute downhill walk to nearest mini market with fresh morning bread and pastries and a furthe 4 mins to centre Salema beach bars and great restaurants. 8 mins back to main road and good sized Internarche. We were 2 parents and 3 grown up ‘ children’ so their ability to go out on own in evening well valued and also to beach ( v cold sea) Cleaned well and pool man and Gardner visited in week. Cannot recommend highly enough. Spare kilo and kids beach toys for pool and hidden washing line. Would very happily go back If you have small children walk too and back beach too steep 5 stars

stark verschmutzter Pool, schlampiger Garten, verschmutzte Terrasse, defekte Türen und defekte Türschlösser, verschmutzte Matratzen (gelbe und braune Flecke), schmutzige Dusche, abgenutzte und mit Klebeband ausgebesserte Möbel, Vermieterin schreibt schon vor Anreise viele unfreundliche E-Mails und bucht hinterher ohne Autorisierung weitere Beträge von der Kreditkarte ab. Leider gibt es hier keine Minuspunkte, den 1 Stern gibt es für die Lage und Aussicht.

A lovely villa but .....

Positives : A lovely villa in a great location. Nice bedrooms, sitting room, terraces and pool. Negatives : Broken garden furniture. Dirty terraces with cigarette butts. Very dirty and unusable cooker. Mouldy washing machine with broken handle and no iron. Poor crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils and shortage of drinking glasses. No plugs to sink and one bath One wc not working properly. Clothes from previous occupier still in bedroom drawers so obviously not checked or cleaned. Supposedly 'refurbished' but still a long way to go.

Great potential

Having stayed in so many villas in Salema, it was a shame to see this villa in the condition it was. It needs some investment in the property to modernise and help clean the property overall. The villa is not well equipped for the six guests that it can accommodate with only a handful of tiny glasses and a few bowls etc. Would return if it was refurbished as the location was fantastic!

The house has been in holiday activity for many years, creating satisfaction in the guests' stays, however, it was not your perception, and some items you mentioned were in reason and we apologize, in 2022 the company hired to replace and replace items. ..such as cups and plates etc. and the cleaning was not good, it did not meet the contracted requirements with care, so it was replaced. now the house is with everything replaced and proper cleaning It will be a pleasure to receive you again and to be able to confirm that your comments were very useful and that the necessary actions were taken , see you soon,thanks

Fabulous! A real gem.

This is a brilliant place. Amazing views, lots of spaces to relax and hang out, garden and pool - it felt very private, but it is not at all isolated. The flowers are so beautiful - the colours are extraordinary - it really is lovely. Everything worked and was really comfortable - loads of towels - including beach towels! Five mins walk (steep steps) to a great fun beach - blue sea, sand, waves and families having a good time. Salema is a small resort - not over polished or over packed. Its got everything you need - tiny, well stocked supermarket, bakery, easy going restaurants - for all pockets. Lurdes was lovely to deal with - everything went smoothly. A great holiday.

Trafalgar House

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Trafalgar House in Salema for six days in April 2013. We came across the property through Lurdes Gomes while looking for accommodations in Lisbon. It was a very lucky break for us as we spent the best part of our Portugese vacation in Salema. Trafalgar House is a beautiful villa with amazing sea views, all necessary amenities, and perfect location for exploring the south west Algarve. The outdoor living space is ideal for bbqing, relaxing by the pool or just enjoying the day. Salema is a quiet beachside town with ample restaurants and shops to fill every need. It is also very close to some of the most beautiful areas in the Algarve including Sagres and Monchiche mountains. Renting a car for a few days is recommended. Salema was our last stop prior to returning to Lisbon enroute to Canada and we both vowed we would return to again enjoy this beautiful part of the world. We spent the last few days before our flight at Lurdes apartment in downtown Lisbon which was also a great place to stay. The apartment was roomy, well appointed and location couldn’t have been better. Did I mention what a great hostess Lurdes was? She made us feel very welcome and treated us like old friends. We must return

Beautiful holidays

We came back to Portugal and the villa Trafalgar the third time. We had very nice holidays again with the children playing in the beautiful pool, going to the lovely beach of Salema and the wunderful beaches at the Westcoast,.... The Villa Trafalgar is the ideal place for spending very nice and relaxed holidays with a family in Salema.
